I love this place! It is much bigger than the old location, it really is La Casa Grande. The market is stocked with all kinds of great stuff, fresh meats and produce, dehydrated peppers, and other culinary gems.Go next door and enjoy a fresh meal in their taqueria, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Clean, decent food and prices. Wish they had a dish with beef enchiladas on the menu but only ala carte. A small ethnic grocery attached next door too.

Most authentic Mexican food Ive found in the Cleveland area and I can say this after living in Chihuahua, Mexico for almost 5 years and still having family there. You also cant beat the price! I really hope they can find a way to keep it open outside during the cold months.

This is an awesome small store with a huge selection of Latin American goods. Their staff is always so friendly and willing to assist you if you are looking for something in particular.

Someone told us about it, because they had loved it. So we were in the Painesville area so we thought we would check it out. We ordered take out. The restaurant had signs on all the tables labeled sanitized. We got the pork tamales, rice, beans and guacamole. It was delicious! Did I mention it was delicious! Yes I mean it. We will definitely be heading back to Painesville for this restaurant!

Nice little place, expensive, most of tje vegetables can be buyed way cheaper in a market or in Walmart. Is a good place to buy tacos, some spices or treats like the obleas.

I have always loved the food. But was disappointed last night. Ordered 2 quesadillas- but the fresh homemade corn tortillas were a lot less to be desired. They were dried out and cracking and just fell apart. Not at all what Ive had before. So Ill be patronizing La Mexicana from now on. They have cheaper, bigger and better quesadillas. Adios.

Just ordered steak quesadillas..and every bite made you want to eat more! I will be going back once the lockdown is over and we are able to sit in restaurants again. They gave lots of sauces and small condiments for take out.

I ordered food and I got the wrong order I went home and opened it and I realized it was wrong and I live 20 minutes away I called and they said to come and get the right order but the lady I talked to was rude and I’ll never order from there again.😒

Holy mother. The guy that recommended this place (and a place that has the best chicken and waffles Ive ever had) is now the guy I trust most in this world about food. Youre not really going to get why you need to be here until you go. The beef tortas with cheese was absolutely incredible. Legit the most flavorful Mexican food Ive ever had. We flew to Mexico and left the resort trying to find this place that was in my back yard all along. They only serve food on the weekend and only when the weather is nice, but it is worth the wait. There were people there that lived hours away, thats how good the food was. A tortas, quesadilla, and 2 tacos ran me $12.53, and was worth every single penny.So I just went to their new sit-down restaurant across the street from their old building. This was opening day, but you wouldnt be able to tell; they had all the kinks worked out. If you thought the food was good coming off that grill in the back, you can imagine how amazing they are when they have a full kitchen to work with. I got the Chimichangas. Even before taking my first bite I could tell they were going to be special by intoxicating smell. Im a little fat kid at heart, so I wouldnt mind putting some extra cheese sauce on them, but its definitely not necessary; they were as good as I could imagine chimichangas being. The rice was better than average Mexican rice, but the beans were surprisingly good. I usually dont eat my rice and beans when I go out because theyre usually pretty meh, but not here. I cant wait to run through their entire menu. Congratulations on the new restaurant guys; no one is more deserving!

I only walk by this place everyday so Im not the best person to review it but from what Ive seen its fun and lively. Very festive on weekends and i dont think a lot of fights happen there; just food and fun. I heard from friends theres certain snacks you can only find there to buy so thats cool if ur looking for sumthin different.
