We had an excellent experience with Gerber Collision and Glass. From the moment we stopped by for an estimate to the moment I picked up the car - they were friendly, efficient and professional. Their prices are very fair and the work was professional. I hope I don’t need their services again but if I do I would absolutely use them again - highly recommend!

Picked my car up today after having dropped it off last week for some body work. Matt was there to greet me, he was such a great guy, took excellent care of my vehicle. Car looks great, I’m a happy camper.

I made an appointment to get an estimate for a repair. I have a 1 year old at home who is immunocompromised so the only person that we allow to watch him is my mother in law so coordinating times where I can get out of the house to get things done can be daunting, but I got her to baby sit and left work early to drive across town to make my appointment. When I arrived I was informed that the person scheduled to do my estimate had left early. My repair is pretty minor and the estimate would take 5 minutes but it is paid for by insurance so I am roped into just a few shop options. Then she asked if she could reschedule for tomorrow. Nope thats why I scheduled today and not tomorrow. .. also not to mention when I walked in the door no one greeted me at any point as she continued to answer the phone in front of me. The other lady working walked within 2 feet of me and I said hello and she didnt even acknowledge my existence. I own a restaurant and if my employees treated someone like that they would quickly be unemployed. I cannot speak to their repair abilities but their customer service is startlingly lacking.

Top shelf service! Had some minor repairs needed on my car. They were able get it back to me in 3 days and it looks like new. Kept me informed along the way with texts and phone calls. My estimator Nicole in particular was super professional and accommodating. She even stayed a little late so that I could pick my car up just after 5pm. Highly recommend!

If I could give this body shop a lower rating, I would. My husband was in an accident recently and we were told by our insurance company to take his truck to Gerber for the repairs. HUGE mistake ... DO NOT use this body shop! My husbands truck was deemed a total loss by one of Gerbers estimators by the name of Dominic Sundstrom. When the insurance company asked for proof of the frame damage (photos, measurements) they let my husbands truck sit for 3 weeks and didnt touch it. Come to find out the reason it sat for 3 weeks is because there was absolutely NO frame damage and they couldnt support their total loss claim. After being ignored, having my calls dodged for weeks and being lied to we decided to take our business elsewhere. The new body shop we chose to use has proven there is absolutely NO frame damage and my husbands truck is in fact repairable, NOT a total loss as Dominic claimed. The manager at Gerber by the name of Bill also told me there was frame damage which was proven to be a lie. To say our experience with Gerber Palm Bay was horrific would be an understatement. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

All my interactions were professional and kind. They work well between the insurance company and the client, from what I experienced. From doorway to detail, they are a good shop to use.

Best place to get your car repair on a collision

I had originally went in and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. When I went in the next week for my appointment they said no one was available to help me, after I had waited at the front desk for 10 minutes with no one in sight. They said they didn’t see me on the schedule. So they said they would could call me later that day when someone was available to give me an estimate. Then, as they were taking my information to call me they magically found my information in their system. They didn’t call me later that day to give me an estimate. What a joke.

The repair was perfect and completed on time.The staff is great and this is a very nice facility.

I had nothing but trouble with this place from the start. Granted in the first week there was a problem with them reaching us. My husband works, but, they never attempted the secondary number which was mine. My husband and i both expressed to them many times that I had health issues and desperately needed my car. It was one excuse after another and that was IF they even answered the phone. We never got one update call. When we called them, it was always we will have someone call you back. That never happened once. Twice we finally just went in top ask, since the staff doesnt understand what a return call is. They had my car for a MONTH. I called them in tears and we were told it would be 4 days, then 3 more, then 4 more, and so on. The day before my car was finished, Bill said we can give you one of your cars to use. Why would they have not offered that when they had delayed it so many times before. One problem I had was my tire sensor light would not go off after the accident. They told me they would check it at alignment and fix it. Finally picked my car up. After about 5 miles it came on again. When I called them, they said oh, well we cleared the code. I told them, we could have done that ourselves. I wanted to know what was wrong with it. Now I have to take the car in Wednesday to get this checked out. Frankly Im afraid. Afraid they will say leave the car with us to fix it. I cant afford Gerbers timely manner. If I could do 0 starsI I would. I was referred by our insurance company. If anything like this happens again ( and I pray it doesnt ) I will go elsewhere. Also, when they had an issue with insurance at the beginning, my husband told them, Go ahead and fix it. I will pay for it myself and then I will deal with insurance, we just need it fixed as soon as possible. They replied they were not allowed to do that. That until the insurance signed off they couldnt touch it. Our insurance company had emails that they had cleared it with them days before. They didnt even order the parts till days after that. Needless to say this is the worst body shop experience i have ever had. Will not use them for anything in the future. I just hope when I have to return about the tire pressure light, that it gets fixed fast and corrected, not just clear a code. Thats nothing but a glorified band-aid.

Car got sent here by insurance company, otherwise, hadnt used them before even though seen them over years. Dont know how well they repair, but if one goes off their communication skills and insurance processing, than you should be very happy with the end product of their repairs.

They do fantastic work and it is covered by theirs and USAAs warranty. Yad a problem with enterprise rentals and owner of the shop was willing to go the extra mile to make sure that it was taken care of properly. Would recommend them to everyone.

I dropped off my car on December 8th with an estimated time of 9 days until it would be finished. It is now day 23 and I have no information on my vehicle, Dominic has not communicated with me in over a week and now we are going into the second holiday weekend. I have called almost everyday and the only information I have is gerber is “waiting on the dealer”. My car was driveable and had cosmetic damage from being rear ended, nothing that would require being in the shop for this long. I am extremely upset with this business and I have no idea how they are still open at this location.

They were not able to repair our vehicle, but everyone I talked with and dealt with personally were very nice and friendly, the one girl took our license plate off the vehicle for us, very nice and helpful

I had the pleasure of dealing with Don from State Farm at this location. Exceptional guy with exceptional service! Best in the business! Front office staff was very welcoming and prompt, too. Clean facility and a seamless process for me. I had a written estimate done for damages to my vehicle and it was a wonderful, stress free experience.

We went here for an insurance claim. The staff was awesome. They did the work in a timely manner and keep us up to date while doing the work. I would use them again if needed.

Awesome place. My brand new car had a collision between its back bumper and a box truck, and not only did they fix it fast, but the price didnt kill me either. I highly recommend them for any repair work due to collisions.

I had the worst experience with my car repair at this shop. They have updated the delivery time three times with no notice and at the last minute. When I called them, they complained that Geico didnt process their request for approval on time. I promptly called geico and get them to approve and guess what!! the car is still not ready to be picked up. It was delayed from Friday to Monday again. All these changes happened with no email or call. After all this, I only can think that there are really incompetent. The adjuster is Nicole and the receptionist took no precautions to avoid covid.

My repair only took two days and I was able to get my car back before the weekend! My car was also nicely clean so that was an added perk. JP was great in speeding up the process!

My insurance company recommended this shop to me. I called them and setup an appointment to get an estimate done. The next day they called to say they received my file from my insurance company and confirmed the appointment I setup. I go in for my appointment and they said I had no appointment and that they guy that does the estimates isnt there that day. The woman at the front desk was unprofessional and couldnt set a definite time to schedule a new appointment. I took my car elsewhere.

Some of the staff there are wonderful but their unorganization skills outweigh it. I had my vehicle repaired there approximately two months ago. Everything looked great. One day I was on 95 and my spoiler flew off. Since the repairs are covered under warranty I knew I could go back and they would fix the issue. I called and told them what happened and they told me to bring it in which I did. They looked at it and ordered the replacement part. Never called to tell me the part was in until I called to see what was going on. I made an appointment to get the part placed and come to find out it was not painted and the break light attachment was not in... why tell me to come if the part wasnt ready! I was advised they would get it taken care of. Went back after being told I could wait to have the part put on by one staff member only to be told by another that I couldnt wait and I could be put in a rental. Here we are over a month later and my part is still not replaced. I work a demanding job and cannot be in a rental because they close before I get off this is unacceptable especially since they were already paid. Very dissatisfied! I still have not been contacted but supposedly my part is there...

Great, professional customer service. Very informative when preparing our quote. Unfortunately we had to use them twice in a three month period but lucky they are so kind and did great work both times.

The service was terrible in terms of communication causing me to have to rent a car four times while waiting for repairs. I was constantly told a date everything would be finished within two weeks (approx.). Very dissatisfied with the service and the lack of compensation regarding the lack of communication leading to my purchase of multiple rentals. Its unfortunate that certain insurance companies work along side with this establishment.

Not sure why my last elaborate review was deleted, but thats a little concerning.Had a very unpleasant experience with this particular location and Gerber Mike ( not geico adjuster Mike). I came back post-repairs paid for by a geico insured, to Express my dissatisfaction with the work performed on my bumper. Dirt nibs present throughout the whole bumper, damaged areas from the accident were not repaired (where bumper made contact with trunk) a 2x2 area that appears to be shop handling neglect post-base-coat that was just shrugged off and cleared over with. Dried cutting compound splatter on inner trunk seals and tail lights, sanding dust mounds within the front cowl panel louver, multiple windows had masking tape adhesive residue uncleaned.Gerber disputed what I pointed out until the manager inspected it himself in the parking lot. Mike : youre worried about this on your bumper, but not worried about this on your trunk?Bill the manager then made it very clear the vehicle should not have left the lot in its condition. Bill did offer to make it right ( which was kind of him ) however, I scheduled repairs with another location due to my experience with their body guy.I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to another location with a more experienced level of prep & paint, shop cleanliness, and post repair quality control. The lack customer service / care is what got me the most. Its bad enough to be inconvenienced by an accident, yet even worse to deal with repair work and customer service such as this.

Wife takes her Explorer in for repair and when picks up bumper had damage on edge from installation, they deny responsibility, vehicle was dirty. Takes back to repair their damage, wasnt ready when promised, dirty, overspray on unpainted areas, paint finish is rough to touch, paint match pitiful. Worst customer service, never short on excuses. I guess when you try to have location on every corner, quality and service go out the window. Go ANYWHERE ELSE, PALM BAY TERRIBLE

Im not very pleased with their service I had to bring my vehicle back in to get resprayed due to the fact the paint did not match up and now since I got my vehicle back a moulding piece is falling off and one of my door handles came right off when my daughter opened the car door. In fact they told my husband when they had to respray it they broke off a piece of moulding and had to wait for the replacement part Im now wondering if that piece was my handle and instead of waiting for the piece they just rigged it somehow either way Im not a happy customer and I hope they make right what they did wrong.

In 4 days by car was fully repaired back to factory and the Rent-a-Car company met me at Gerber. I highly recommend them.

I brought my 2017 Kia Forte to get a fender Bender fixed. I left my car for 8 days. I picked up my car and I had warning lights on my car. I brought my car back after Memorial Day. The guy there said they couldn’t fix it and I would have to take it to a Kia dealership to see what they said. I brought my car to the Kia dealership today. The guy there told me that the wires were cut. I didn’t have that problem when I brought my car to Gerber Collision. I have to shell out money to have my car fixed properly.Highly disappointed in this place.

Horrible.still dealing with them now.sent my truck in had a busted rim after I hit a curb.they only fixed a control arm and said no had a slight bent rim but said the truck was good to go and id never notice .after 2 weeks of waiting and then I get it back and it is completely unsafe.cant go over 30 without the whole front end shaking and feeling like its falling apart .took it to another shop for inspection and said I had multiple suspension components loose and the tires looked straight?? I refuse to send my truck back in to wait another 2 weeks for them to fix there mess up.did they even test drive the truck after there work??

I had a bad experience here and therefore dont recommend this place. Bad customer service and high prices!!! I live in palm bay and I wanted to support the local paint shop and surprise my girlfriend by getting her 2000 mini van painted the same color (white). I stopped by Gerber Collision one morning last year and the owners/managers working inside their offices apparently didnt want to come out to see the vehicle. The front counter lady repeatedly asked them to look at the vehicle and give me an estimate. Instead they sat at their desks and told her to tell me it would be $3,000 to paint it, without them ever looking at it. I was shocked! No professionalism in my opinion and I havent been back since. Ive instead gone to econo paint in kissimmee with my vehicles.... well worth the trip and savings. Econo paint did a complete inspection, wrote an estimate for under $400 and I gave them the job. Next day it was done

I just recently experienced what to me was a major auto accident, well Gerber work performance on my vehicle is nothing short of fantastic. On 12/4/2017 theyre having their tire guy replace my rim but the body work done was superb. Gerber from their constant updates, to their caring professionalism through kindness, care and appreciation was unbelievable, the overall project was timely, thoughtful, professionsal and caring... The final product and job they did was just so gratifying and beautiful I thought you all should know. I hope mind you really hope to never have to use any bodyshop ever again but Gerber exceeds what they say, they practice what they do and do it.. If half the businesses used Gerber as an example of how to treat a customer, that would be awesome. As for Gerber,,,, I will, without hesitation refer them, I will proudly show off the great job that they did for me... On a personal note thank you for treating me with such kindness and concern, its helped so much in a personal stressful event I wish On No one. I backed my 2015 RAM into a tree damaging the tailgate. Gator dodge said I had to buy another tailgate and that it was unfixable. Took it to Gerber and they fixed it as if it never happened at a fraction of the price quoted by the dealership!!! THANK YOU
