Stay away from this company!! We ordered two recliners. We were told they would take 2.5 months but it took 5.5 months. The chairs we got were not the chairs we ordered!! We called Lilly (Our sales woman) and told her and she agreed to have the chairs picked up and a full refund given. Then some guy named David (one of the owners) got involved and everything went down hill. He said we did get what we ordered because it says so on the invoice. We told him we understand the invoice is correct but the chairs are not what is on the invoice, they are the wrong chairs. He said he would take the chairs back with a restocking fee and a pick up fee. What a mess, so sorry we did business with this company!!

No communication at all. I had to keep calling them to find out when my furniture and matching fabric was going to arrive. No one ever answers the phone nor do they return messages. When my fabric finally arrived I went to the location to pick it up and it wasn’t there. The women called the Boulder store and the guy was very nasty when she was trying to find info out. I was in the background complaining and before she hung up the phone I heard the man on the other end (DAVID) say “Crazy New Yorkers”. Oh no he didn’t!!! I drove to the location where he was at and told him I’m the crazy New Yorker but he denied saying it. I found out he is family to the owners. This furniture store is not worth buying anything from. I’m sorry I bought as much as I did. BEWARE! I should have looked at the reviews before I went there.

My husband and I shopped local and purchased a complete solid wood bedroom set from Traci. While shopping, we never felt harassed by a “pushy salesman”, however, Traci was always near to answer our questions. The store is not very large but they offer diverse selections and beautiful furniture. Our entire experience from the sale, to the delivery men, have been very positive. I highly recommend visiting this store. We will be back to purchase our living room set. I have purchased a beautiful sofa and am willing to wait the 6 weeks to get it. Now Im told it is an additional 6 weeks. I understand the delay due to manufacturing and virus challenges but.... this is not a special order fabric. They have 50%$ down and I have nothing for at least 3 months. They could at least eliminate my delivery (of less than 2 miles ) cost of $69.00. Who knows when my sofa will arrive?

Do not buy from here. Matress only 1yr old and already sinking. Emails have gone ignored even after stopping in and Manager saying well the gave a discount so apparently that voids the warranty because the discount and market it down AS IS.... Call your credit card company for a charge back for 850

We purchased furniture from the Boulder Rock Drive location. I rarely give a 5 star rating but I think they really deserve it.We are very pleased with the customer service we received. We stopped by just to look at options. We told him what we were looking for our teenage sons and he made our shopping decision quick and easy by showing us exactly what we wanted and we made our purchase in 30 minutes or less.The excellent professionalism and customer service continued on delivery of our furniture, We had the pleasure of meeting dynamic duo, Mike and Mike. They’re an awesome team.They were very observant and professional with their response to a damaged item noted when the dresser was unboxed. They made me feel I can trust the item would be replaced.After the furniture was set up my kids wanted to make minor changes with the placement. They were willing to make the changes to make them happy.So we’ll wait on the replacement and delivery of the damaged item.Thanks for the excellent customer service

This is my second furniture order and I am very happy with my purchases. My overall experience with Susan and Tracy was extremely positive; both being quite professional and very friendly. Susan understood my need for a prompt delivery and she came through. The delivery team was polite and professional. They worked together to assemble the furniture in a timely fashion; quite considerate where and how I wanted the pieces placed. I especially appreciated the care taken to unload and to bring in the furniture; how organized, and providing information and answers to my questions. Two thumbs up in the diligence to take all the trash.

Popped into this furniture store as we were looking for new living room furniture after moving to the area. We were warmly welcomed by Traci and loved some of the pieces. After looking at other furniture stores in the area, we returned back to Traci and purchased our new sofa and recliners. Traci was amazing, friendly, professional and helpful. Our delivery of our couch and recliner arrived early. The delivery guys were quick, friendly and neat. It all started with Traci making sure we were satisfied, and couldnt be happier with the service and delivery.

Found a cute bedroom set for my daughter at a reasonable price and bought it. Twice the delivery people never called or showed up when it had been scheduled, and when I called to follow up I got lame excuses both times. When it was delivered, the headboard was damaged and needed to be replaced. When I asked for my delivery fee to be refunded, they actually withdrew another 79 dollar delivery fee from my bank account, and I got an argument about that. I got a call from the warehouse people who wanted me to take a picture and send it to them in regards to the damaged piece, even though the delivery men had indicated on the invoice it needed to be replaced. I was told they were fill in delivery people that day...Just very unprofessional. Everything became a huge problem and I am still dealing with it. I was not happy at all with the experience or the way things were handled and the furniture is not the quality I thought it was. I actually wish I had gone and paid a little more with a higher end chain. As of right now it is still a nightmare that wont seem to come to and end so please beware...

I am very pleased with the excellent customer service and quality of my purchase from Home Design Furniture. Jackie was very efficient in assisting me. The delivery men were both prompt and personable. They explained features of my new recliner, which they set up instantly. The recliner is extremely comfortable-my husband took a nap there soon after its arrival.

We purchased an electric fireplace cabinet with firebox from Furniture2Go on Boulder Rock. David spent soooo much time with us and went above and beyond to accommodate us. After shopping all over Daytona, this was the best price for the cabinet we had chosen. The delivery was on time and the guys were efficient and polite. So happy with the service and furniture. Susan was wonderful and helped us customize the exact swivel, rocking, recliners with the color and fabric we wanted (Best recliner). They look beautiful and are the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in. The delivery was efficient, and Mike and Frank were personable, upbeat, and made sure I knew all there was to know. Weve had a wonderful experience buying our furniture at Home Design, in spite of a couple of hiccups. Traci was exceptionally helpful, professional, joyful, very friendly & most important very knowledgeable. We enjoyed Mike & Mike very positive attitude in difficult circumstances. Wish I could give zero stars. I ordered a tables and chairs from here and was grossly overcharged. I found out that I could get the same set from Ashley a couple hundred dollars cheaper. I was told they price match and would be able to help on the price. They dodged my calls for days and I had to come in twice to even get anything done about it. They only ended up refunding me 24 dollars and wouldnt even let me speak to a manager even though I asked multiple times. I have never been so dissatisfied in my life.Edit: Now there are dozens of baby spiders coming out of the woodwork of my table and on closer inspection my table wasnt even assembled right. I paid 150 for the white glove fee for it to be put together incorrectly. I will be contacting the better business bureau about this. This is horrificReply: Your address is on my receipt. I just want the world to know how wonderful my experience was here with Traci. We have had some hard times lately and worked hard to get a bed for my boys to share because they were sleeping on the floor at the time.This was more then buying furniture for me. I actually cried to her because I was so stressed and embarrassed and overwhelmed. My son has a skull fracture and he is autistic and I was ashamed as a mother. Not only within ten minutes did Traci have a reasonable bed set for me she even went above and beyond and had the mattress and box spring delivered right away so my kids felt comfortable and were off the floor at no extra charge until the bedroom was delivered. I had my four year old with me and she seen me crying and she tended to her so as a mom I could get myself together. This meant more to me then she will ever know. She even entered us into a drawing to possibly win a kids bed set or movie tickets. Such a great place and beyond aa wonderful experience and I was able to pull myself together thanks to Traci.

I bought a round brown table with 4 upholstered chairs, but only 2 chairs arrived. Why bother shipping only part of the order, if the full one wasnt ready? I have been waiting since November 27, and it is now Christmas! I called several times and they have not been able to help me. Im very disappointed in the service from this company.

This family business is absolutely terrible. Worst experience Ive ever had getting furniture. When we finally picked up our furniture and opened the crate it was damaged. We called to find out about a replacement and the saleswoman said how do we know you didnt damage it?. After about a week of arguing and back and forth, we finally got in touch with the manager (really just the daughter of the actual owners). She assured us we would have our furniture in two weeks. It has now been two months, and just today they delivered the item. lo and behold the item was not only the wrong color, but the box it came in didnt have the correct item number or even our name. It had some other customers name, so this fiasco wasnt even a mistake, they knew it wasnt our furniture. Whats more, when we called (after having more patience with this catastrophe than these people deserve), the manager/daughter just made excuses and refused to do anything to remedy the situation. She also refused to give us the name of her actual boss, so short of going into the store and demanding to see the actual boss, which is way more effort than we should have to put in, especially at this point, there is basically nothing we can do. These people are the worst, the management and the salespeople. Would definitely not recommend to anyone. Youre much better off with rooms to go or some other big company. At least you know theyll treat you well.

I went here with my two children today and the layout of this place was all over the place. Over crowded and hard to move around other than the straight path provided. The lady there greeted me and my two kids the moment we got there which was the only nice thing about this visit. She quickly started to show me around to some furniture pieces after asking me firmly if I wanted reclining or not reclining. I told her I wasnt sure at this point in time that we were looking around right now. She then asked me, well you have to know if you want reclining or not. I said I guess reclining. So she walked us over to a small love seat and I said my family will need something bigger than that. She said it can be bigger you need to pick a material you like first. I said I wasnt sure maybe I just need to look around to really find out what I like. So I started off to the next area and she said Im trying to show you what all we have. I said Im really just wanting to look around right now and get a feel for what I want to get but thank you. So she said here look at this its all of what we have. So I picked up my daughter and my son followed and said I think we are just going to go. She was over the top pushy and made for a very bad customer experience. I politely asked to look around but she quickly became the thorn in my shoe pushing me to look at all they have to offer and telling me I have to know what I want. I truly disliked this solely because of that woman. She was way to overbearing. Im sure the products are great, she is the reason I wont purchase from there. All she wanted was a fast sale, I just wanted to look.

EDITED....read full review.....bought my Mom a new Living Room Set. Upon reading the other reviews, it was pretty easy to determine who Traci was (at first she assumed I was in the employ of the Psychic Friends Network when I guessed her name). She has a very low key sales manner, no pressure, quick with information about various furniture in the store...perfect demeanor and personality for a great Saleswoman.This isn’t a lavish furniture showplace, but has a good selection of styles and colors to sample and make a solid informed decision. Truth be told, a lavish show room often equates to a lavish price....I’d rather pay a little less to shop in an adequately comfortable setting like this where the emphasis is on the Customers needs and the Products they sell.In the end, we decided on a Leather powered- recline set. Was happy to learn the Labor Day Sale was still going on...the Price was more than the internet ultimately, but I chose to do business with a local company.BUT.....once the furniture was delivered (early was a nice surprise) it was immediately apparent the Couch, Loveseat, and Chair wouldnt all fit in the living room. Within an hour of delivery, we contacted the store to return just the Recliner, which still had the tags attached to it. I was immediately Informed of a 25% restocking fee for the return, and a $49 charge to pick up the Chair. I chose to do business here specifically to avoid hassles like this if there were any problems, figuring it would be much simpler to handle a return with a store 1 mile away than some faceless internet Company.I was wrong, and if I had it to do over again I would have taken my chances and saved some money on the internet. Several Internet places offer White Glove delivery and free returns with no re-stocking fee for the exact same set we purchased at a lower price.I had a positive experience coordinating the return with Traci, who is a true asset to the company, But that only goes so far, as her hands were tied by poor corporate return policy. I didnt mind paying a little extra if I was going to get a superior customer experience and support, but the Restocking fee and charge to pick up the recliner really rubbed me the wrong way. Buyer Beware I guess.

Worst furniture store we ever purchased from. Jackie didnt respond to calls. We wanted to support and buy from a local bussiness. Even paid more for our purchased including delivery charges then what others stores were offering. Once Home Design got our money they forgot who we were! No quality control and no communication from the warehouse to the sales floor to the delivery to us. Never again.

The store and its staff are lovely. Follow through after the sale was very lacking. They did have staffing issues with getting repair personal to respond to a request for repairs. They state those issues have been taken care of.

Jackie and Tina great to deal with on a large recent purchase to furnish a whole beach house- including inside and also outside deck furniture. They offered many choices and help with sizing up furniture for the various room measurements and layouts. It all worked out great and the house now looks fantastic. The delivery guys worked 4 hours to unpack and install the new furniture. This place is Horrible! Stay Away!We were suppose to have our furniture delivered on a Saturday (2 weeks after we ordered) & our couch was set to be delivered 6 weeks later cause it was “special ordered”. I work during the week and they said no problem on the Saturday delivery. Well when Friday Came I called to confirm my order was being delivered cause I haven’t heard anything, now it was they don’t do Saturday deliveries, really? So we set it up for Tuesday 12-6 I took the day off of work and at 530 no lie I got a call the truck broke down. So they ended up delivering it Wednesday at about 8 at night, and that was after I called and complained. Everything was ok but noticed they forgot the box spring to one of the beds, so they came back out Thursday delivered that but it didn’t even match the mattress brand. Even the guys delivering said Home Design is the worst. After all that my couch arrived, now mind you I was at work, I get home and it looks NOTHING like the couch I wanted at the store. So I call the next day and they give me some reason that blew my mind. The couch I ordered was another kind of leather. I was confused cause I picked the color from the exact couch I wanted which was on the floor for show. She tells me well I didn’t know you wanted that leather, we have 2 different types. Really because you never told me that in the store. I saw the floor model and said I want that same exact couch and she ordered it while not saying one thing about changing the kind of leather is was. Then I told her I want it changed or refunded which she replied there’s no refunds or changes on “special orders” she would be willing to give me the floor model if I paid another $600, or $900 more for a new one and it would take 6 weeks, really? I just spent $8000 on furniture from you guys. DONT GO HERE. HORRIBLE PLACE.

We went to this store to shop for several pieces of furniture as we have just purchased property in Palm Coast. The web site said the store was open Sunday 12-5. The store was closed. We made a special trip only to find a note on the door saying “closed on Sunday at this location”. Put that note on your web site. We won’t be back!

My wife and I purchased two beds, and adjustable frames totaling over $3000 in 2017. Within days of installation, we noticed that the adjustable frames made very loud clunking sounds when one or the other person attempted to get in or out of bed. Realizing this wasnt normal, we contacted Jackie our salesperson, who is the daughter of the owner, and she immediately scheduled an inspector to look at the problem. It was two additional two phone calls, and three weeks later that the inspector arrived. He couldnt pinpoint the problem but agreed it was a manufacturing defect as he had investigated six (!) other complaints of the same nature for these same bed frames. We never heard one more thing from Jackie. Fast forward six months, we were fed up with our King mattress which was mgf. by Ashley, a well known brand. The mattress, in the course of six months, had developed a noticeable depression in the middle which caused the two of us to want to roll towards the middle of the bed. Harkening back to when Jackie represented these mattresses as guaranteed by Ashley, we called her, explained the situation, she said she would check with Ashley and call us right back... Well, to say the least, that never happened. We called once again, left a message for her, she never called back. Heres the bottom line: You have a business selling products they dont stand by; You have a major player in that business that doesnt respond properly, or in good faith; You have an Owners daughter who mispresents the products and services the company sells. Not a good combination. Patronize at your own peril...

I have yet to receive my beds. It has been 4 weeks. One of them has been there for a couple weeks. They will not ship partial order. Went in on Thursday to see why my phone calls were not returned. Was told they were expecting last bed in yesterday. Have yet to receive a phone call telling me if it arrived. The beds were prepaid. I was told I would have them in 3-4 weeks. Still waiting and still sleeping on the floor waiting for them to arrive. They only deliver between 11-3 and I work during those hours with only Fridays off. Will keep y’all posted. They don’t seem to understand what “customer service” actually is.
