My experience with Doctor Paint was excellent at every step of the process. Omar, the owner, was professional and provided me with a quote promptly. The office staff provided great communication with everything from scheduling to billing. The on-site crew was led by Francisco - he was on time (actually a little early) and very meticulous with prep, painting and clean-up. Joseph was Francisco’s assistant. He was also pleasant and a hard worker. We have dozens of compliments on the newly painted house. I highly recommend Doctor Paint and if you can get Francisco to led the team - do it!

Very pleased with the finished interior work today, however if you’re considering a color change, please do your due dilgence and inquire about how many coats you’ll need when going from light to dark paint if no primer is being applied. We ended up needing additional visits to ensure the kitchen portion was copacetic!

After getting a number of estimates to paint the exterior of our house and driveway, we selected Dr. Paint. Besides a fair estimate, we were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Omar, the owner. He spent over an hour discussing in detail the process that his crew would follow, such as power washing, fixing cracks in the stucco and priming the whole house before actually painting. He and his wife were also a big help in choosing colors, taking into consideration contrast and town restrictions. As for his crew, we couldnt be more satisfied. I did my due diligence, and got quotes from 3 painting contractors and am so glad we chose Dr. Paint. Him and his crew did a wonderful complete interior paint job on my brothers house in Beach Haven. Omar came out to give me a quote, was extremely pleasant and professional. They contacted me every morning and evening without fail, as they were coming and going so alarm system could be armed and disarmed. The lead crew painter was very polite and accommodating. Upon my first inspection, there were a few issues that needed to be addressed, which was promptly done. Upon 2nd inspection, because of all the picture nail holes I pointed out that they still were not up to par, but again, they came out, fixed the issues, in some cases repainting the whole wall again. In their defense, I must say the lighting on those dark, rainy days was not the best to see where issues were. I would not hesitate to use Dr. Paint again, and would certainly suggest this company to anyone looking for a professional paint job. Thank you!

We have used Dr. paint two times, the first time we were moving into a home from out of state, the closing was set back but Dr Paint was very accomidating to our constantly changing schedule. When we finally got in they got in and out quickly doing a great job ( one wall was bright red they had to cover with white) they do a great job, do it quickly and clean up after. We used them again for a small job and they did the same great work.

He went over the house with me and told me what they needed to do (patch wholes, cracks, power wash and seal the house) prior to painting. They took my money quickly and then started a couple of days later than the agreed upon date. No communication. Omar apologized about his lack of communication and response claiming that he had too much on his plate. The paint job itself was not too bad but in my opinion the trim job was terrible. The line above the trim (where the paint meets the trim) was not crisp and clean but instead uneven. Speckles of colored paint all over areas of trim, outlet covers and window sill. Ive noticed that in some spots there are even paint speckles on my floor as well. Some areas were also missed altogether but they did go back and fix most of those when I pointed them out. I was told by Omar that my expectations were unrealistic and specifically regarding the trim he said that if his team spent the time making the lines straight and the trim perfect he would not be able to stay in business. Unfortunately, my experience was not as positive as most of the others. I would not recommend.

We discussed the project and after reviewing his quote, we decided to proceed.His drywall specialist did a great job of patching and matching the wall finish.Omar returned a day or so later with his painter to inspect the repairs and instruct his painter on how to proceed.The end result looks great and we couldnt be happier. I am new to the Daytona area. I recently hired Dr. Paint to paint the interior of my home. After 2 1/2 months I cant begin to tell you how unprofessional and unbusiness like they were. They broke every aspect of their contract.There was damage to my home and I had to have them come back several times to fix several mistakes. I paid 3/4 of a $6600.00 invoice and I was harassed and threatened if I didnt pay the remaining balance FULL they would put a LIEN on my home. And the job is NOT FINISHED. VERY VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!!! My advice to you consumers is GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

We hired Omar and his team to paint the entire interior of a new house, sight unseen, from across the country prior to moving in. Overall, they did a really great job. The quote was competitive, they were responsive, asked good clarifying questions, and the house still looks great now, six months later. When little things did pop up along the way, they called and asked how we wanted it done. There were a few items, such as plaster repairs that had been behind furniture during the initial quote, and painting some really tricky old window frames, that were an extra charge, but again we appreciated Omars communication, desire to get it right, and didnt feel at all like we were being uncharged just that Omar wanted to be sure to do a satisfactory job while staying in scope of what he had quoted us.One thing I would have liked that did not happen, things that were on the wall initially, like little closet shelves and ledges, and curtain rods, were removed to paint and then not put back up. It was difficult with us being across the country, but if I were to do the project again I would be sure to clarify that I wanted everything installed in the walls to be re-installed. The biggest item here is that all of the blinds were removed from the windows and we really would have liked them to be put back up, it was kind of the prior homeowner to leave them for us and now six months later we still havent gotten around to putting them back up. But I would still give Dr. Paint 5 stars for the experience overall.
