I came in because my brake pedal was periodically mushy. I was working with Scott. They kept it for a full day and drove the vehicle 7 miles, and charged me $178.94 for this diagnostic. Scott told me the master brake cylinder needed replacement. The receipt did not provide any detail about what was checked to support this conclusion. The whole interaction just didnt feel right. I got a second opinion. Second auto shop reported nothing wrong with the master brake cylinder or braking system. They drove the car 3 miles. That shop did not charge me because they couldnt find anything wrong. Friends referred me to Meissner Automotive, so I was disappointed at what feels like an attempted rip-off.

Very professional, affordable and competent mechanics here. I had a great experience. My check engine light was on in my ‘03 Tacoma. Meissner had me back in action over the weekend. Very customer oriented looking out for customer’s best interest. I went to have a coolant hose replace as well as my serpentine belt. I was told that my SUV would be ready the next day and it was. As I was driving off Kurt and Scotty heard a weird noise coming from the SUV when I left the lot and Kurt called me on my cell phone and asked me to bring it back so they may take a look at it. Short story, problem was diagnosed less than five minutes. SUV had to stay an extra day and Kurt, the owner offered me a ride home. I thought that was most courteous thing for owner to do. Highly recommend this company to all friends and family.

Meissner is a wonderful automotive repair shop, it is a pleasure to work with the team there. It was recommended by a neighbor to me, and I have since recommended them to several others for their friendliness, integrity, timeliness and quality of service. They tell you like it is and get the job done. I also like that they are a family business (son has taken over the dad’s) so there is a level of personalization and core values of friendliness that make you want to go back and trust them.

Had a pre-purchase inspection for an Audi done here and the team was super helpful. In addition to fitting me in on short notice, they helped with a few follow-up questions, including having the dealer bring the car over so they could look at an issue together with the car on the lift at no extra cost. Friendly and helpful - will be using them going forward.

I needed a pre-purchase inspection last minute for a 2015 bmw. I was able to get an appointment the same day, price was reasonable, and inspection went great. They identified brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced so I was able to negotiate that repair amount with the seller.

Everyone working for Meissner Automotive is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and kind--I had fantastic experiences getting my car fixed by them on two separate occasions! Although they say they specialize in servicing certain car brands, they were completely able to fix non-trivial problems with my Ford (not one of the brands they advertised).

Everyone that I encountered were pleasant, however everything went downhill fast. I was told that I would be contacted midday but had to call them at 2:00 to be told they were still completing their diagnostic and would contact me within the next hour, so when I called them back 3 hours later I was told ok to come get the car then rushed since they closed at 6:00.Next, I had to ask about specific findings, something I asked to be checked was not, and the biggest issue was the quotes given were more than $400 more than the dealer and I was told that my brakes and battery were fine which I knew to not be the case. I also reiterated that I would be traveling across the country over 3,000 miles, and the need for a safe vehicle 😠I would not return or recommend this facility.

They got down to the problem, my time was their time. Scott was a very friendly andd I liked working with him. This is a good shop.

Kurt Meissner was great. From up front discussion on timing, analysis of problems, and setting expectations - all of which were spot on - to a return checkup (no charge) to make sure everything he had done was successful.Cant get any better!

They seem to be friendly and helpful but Ive been quoted $172 fo diagnostic - thats way too much. All of the other places I called afterwards gave me $100 or less quote. Make sure to check the price estimate before you come here to avoid wasting your time.

I tried working on it myself but soon figured out that without the proper tools as well as the expertise in seeing some confusing wiring, I needed a specialist. I had an engine « clicking » problem in my old Explorer. The water pump was replaced but the problem was still there. The culprit was finally found and replaced.
