I called a little after 9 am and had a repairman at my house in less than an hour. Dryer is fixed and Im back to washing my clothes 🙃. Both the man I spoke to on the phone and the repairman were so courteous. If you want great service and a great price, Independant Appliance!!

Very friendly customer service. Quick to set up an appointment.I had to call back few times and they were working with me. eventually I had to cancel my appointment from my end. But definitely would use them again if needed in the future

We went with this company for my mother’s rental home because our go-to wasn’t able to service for 7 days and this one was able to in 2days. They responded to a 5yo fridge not cooling with a service fee of $85 that they have the discretion to waive, but did not. (Another family member used them and the service fee was applied to service bc they used them for the work and not just for a quote/diagnostic). I was cool with that bc let’s be honest, it’s hard getting anyone to show up and do a good job these days.We were told that a new seal (~$160) and a new motor (~$80) were needed. I questioned where the seal was damaged and it was not identifiable and therefore only authorized the motor to be replaced.Next day following the service the fridge was freezing. I asked for someone to return and it was recommended that a new fridge accessory be installed to help circulate the cool air. This was not a replacement part but a whole new accessory. My nieve Mother authorized this part’s install without questioning why it was needed in the first place when the fridge didn’t need it prior to the motor install. (~$80).Next day, there was water leaking on the floor. They came the following day and told me that they had installed a new filter that had cracked bc when they accessory was installed, he accidentally let it cool so much that it froze the filter, causing the crack. He was honest, apologetic and took accountability. He told me that he had already installed the part but that his company instructed him to call me and tell me to still pay for it. I asked if he worked there for long and he denied. I apologized to him for having a company put him in this position as I assumed he was fearful for his job bc if I didn’t pay for it, he would have to or get reprimanded.I followed up to discuss the situation and a man just steam rolled me on how I am trying to cheat him out of a part before we could even brief the call. I made attempts to respectfully resolve this matter bc it’s seriously roughy out here-good work is hard to find. But his final response was, ‘I am not going to argue with you over $50 bucks. Im going to make a note of you and good luck trying to get any appliance work done in your future.” Then hung up.These tough times are effecting everyone’s character, some for good, some not so much.

Excellant service. My wife called in the morning, they came out and fixed our Dryer at 1.00. Very polite, kept us informed by text of when they were arriving. Technician observed the wearing of the mask, and described the problem with the dryer clearly. He had the parts required in his van and was done by 2.00.

Always have what you need at the best price ! Dont order off the internet. I brought in a oven heating elementIf I ordered it off the internet I would have ordered the wrong one. The experienced staff knew the issue and pick the right part. NO SECOND TRIPS FIXED FIRST TIME ! THEY ARE THE BEST !

Our refrigerator stopped cooling shortly before Christmas and I had difficulty scheduling a service call with anyone. Independent was quick to respond, available and on time with their service calls. Turns the repair was not as simple as hoped, but Independent worked through all of our problems to eventually repair our refrigerator staying always responsive to provide excellent customer service.

Great experience! I haven’t needed an appliance repair service in years...since you could call the local Sears store and they’d come fix any brand appliance. The first place I called, an established local appliance company, could not come till the next Wednesday - a week and a half away! Then I found Independent Appliance! This company came the same day I called them to fix my Samsung dryer...I called at 9am and it was completely fixed like new by 3:30 that afternoon. It was the heating element, and the technician (Keith) explained that dryer sheet wax buildup on the lint filter was the culprit. He had the new part on his truck! He was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable! And the price was very reasonable. I definitely would recommend them to anyone and I will absolutely call them again should I need any appliance repaired! That’s peace of mind! Thank you Roger!

I have had to grab parts from Independent Appliance a few times and they are the most helpful guys around. They are super nice and know what they are talking about! Recommend them if you need a specific part for an appliance.

So they say they are Bay county’s number one appliance dealer and their motto is we can fix it making them seem like they can handle all problems which is misleading . I got charged a service fee 79.00 even though they could not fix my appliance and was told I still have to pay that there is nothing that can be done since they came out the part I needed was not ava because the appliance was discontinued which how would I know all this and I understand they wouldn’t know that either without coming out but my thing is stop saying you can fix anything and putting all this hype up about your company. I even found the part they couldn’t get online and called them back to see if they can just install it and they wouldn’t because I was going to order it and they weren’t the ones getting the part . They could of atleast discounted the service fee since they couldn’t repair my appliance but wouldn’t offer anything ! Not good business !

I called them on my way home from work at 4 and they immediately sent a tech out to look at my refrigerator, Morgan was able to identify & fix the problem within an hour. They were quick and efficient, Ill definitely be calling them for any future issues with my appliances.

I went in this store twice. Very helpful! The first time for my washer because it wouldnt agitate. The second for a counter top range glass. Each time I was given detailed tips on How to and Be careful of when I made my successful repairs. Because they took time and explained and answered my questions I will give them my business.Getting ready to go in again to get a replacement fan for my convection oven and ask a few questions along the way.

I have called them before, great service, knowledgeable techs. Had an emergency with the fridge, they came right out, found the problem, fixed it for a very reasonable price. Local business that deserves our business and support. Great job again, thanks so much!!!

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. I came in for a part and left with knowledge about how to take better care of my dryer. He didn’t have to take the time to do that but he did. It’s nice to purchase something from a business with staff that care. I was in and out of there in no time.

Deceptive Fees. You will pay more than they tell you. I called for a service call on my washer and was told that it would be $52 for a tech to come out and then I would be quoted a cost. I would be able to decide if I wanted to have my washer fixed. What they dont tell you is that you will also have to pay a flat labor fee of $75 even though the tech was only there for 20 minutes. At no point did during the visit did they say you will be charged $127 until he asked for my credit card.RE: Owners ResponseThe owner of this businesses response to my complaint of not having transparent prices is to say wonder why you didnt repair it yourself is childish. To some people $75 is a lot of money. The statement that was made to be about the $52 service fee was that this would diagnosis the problem and I would have the option to have the unit fixed. Based on the owners comments he is saying if we diagnosis the problem and it is an easy fix, you do not have the option to fix it yourself. You will be charged $75. The technicians comment while at my house when I challenged the fee was I cant make any money off of only the $52 service fee.

The technician was very good, knew exactly what was wrong with the dryer and fixed it quickly. I thought the price was very fair, was afraid it might be much higher. They were recommended to me from someone else and I will recommend them to you also.

My interactions with them have always been friendly & professional. They really know appliances and can repair them fast. And their online parts ordering system provided me a fridge filter for the water and icemaker that arrived in a couple of days. It was cheaper than the same ones on Amazon, so I found that to be a plus.

The Santa Claus looking sales person at the counter is rude and lazy seems that asking about a part/parts goes over the amount you have on your person and have to be put back you not only will get lectured but also get deliberately publicly humiliated.The others are ok that work there that I have experience so farI guess you can get away with that if youre the only appliance parts shop store in Panama City

I had a problem with my dryer and they helped me troubleshoot it and even verified the readings of the part that was bad. Even gave me tips on how to reinstall it which saved me time and aggravation. Their prices are very comparable to how much you would pay online for the part. Well worth the money and will definitely go back here.

Roger was awesome went to get heating element for dryer he told me what to check first and how to do it.. he was right it was a fuse!! Appreciate his wisdom!! Has earned a customer for life!!!

Was able to get a technician out quickly and had my dishwasher fixed within 2 days. Friendly and not bad on the wallet either.

Have pretty much every part you could ask for. We came there for a fridge thermostat to fix the freezer and its been working fine ever since we installed it.

They blamedeverything on the being busy with the Hurricane issues. Since I paid top dollar and was asked if I had anything to do when I wanted to know when the tech would show up....Use the company if you want to pay a lot to a company that definitely does not put customer service first.3/4In response to companys mini-dissertation response. I paid laborchanges for two visits, because another part was needed. Each time the representative of your firm took the item apart, I PAID. Dont care how muchyou donate to charity that does not give you the right to overcharge locals.

Came to my house told me what was needed . Made the repairs they told me l needed.i paid 174.90 did not fix it. Called them back they came back now you need another part for another100.40 if I had been told upfront about these costs I would not of repaired it. I feel like I was ripped off and I would never recommend you to anyone.

Great service like you dont see very often. I have used them numerous times over the years and just had them repair my front loader lg washing machine yesterday. They got it done very quickly and at a good fair price. I like to repair things myself much to my wifes displeasure (takes me too long) and they have always been very helpful in helping me diagnose the problem. Ill never forget the time the owner took me in the back and put my thermostat in a warm bucket of water to see if it opened properly. Dont mean to get warm and fuzzy but I just hope that I am as helpful to my customers as they are to me. Thanks again for great service.

Called independent appliance in the early afternoon, my refrigerator ceased functioning. (meat thawing out already) Roger set me up and had a repairmant at my house by 4:30 PM. Found the problem and had it running by 5:30. The young man that that repaired our refrig was very knowledgeable and courtious. Also the price wasnt bad either.
