Bad customer service must be a goal for this place. The guy behind the counter didn’t greet or help us - he did a good job eye balling us the whole time but that’s it.

Poor over the phone customer service and attitude.Called just to ask what the firearm transfer fee was, and after he gave it to me I asked if there was a military rate for that, his tone and inflection sounded like he was appalled that I would even ask that.Said $40 was the cheapest he could go. Dan d ridge outfitters and other places around are much cheaper. $20. So kudos for the rip off price and the bad attitude. I will take my business and send others elsewhere in the future.

Terribly incompetent and rude. Took them 3 weeks to get the stuff together to send a gun. Gave me the run around for weeks. Told me a pruce and then uped it when I got there. I thought the least they could of done was honor the price they gave me after the 3 weeks of broken promises. No such luck. On top of that they were rude. Terrible.

Ordered a scoped bolt action .243. Came in quickly. Borescoped it for me before I picked it up. Very informative, friendly people to do business with. Highly recommended.

Gunsmith excellent!! I had a broken trigger plate in an old double 20 gauge and it would fire with the safety on. Their gunsmith expertly repaired the break and got it back in great/safe firing condition.

I went in to purchase a Bersa 380 gun for my wife. I picked out the gun I wanted and paid for it. Then I get a call from Guns and Gear telling me my background check came back saying I could not buy the gun. I then spoke to the owner and asked if they could hold the gun until I got this mess straighten out. He told me they would hold it for me. I got clearance to buy the gun. Immediately I went to guns and gear to pickup my gun. The gun serial number was on my receipt and stamped paid in full. The lady told me they didnt have the gun because she had sold it to someone else. She told me she didnt have any Bersa 380 s in stock and then tried to sell me the short version and I said no. Then she showed me a Bersa 380 custom in a case this was about $80.00 dollars more. I asked for a discount since the fault was theirs and mine. Sheoffered to give me about $20.00 dollars. I said I would have to talk this over with wife. When I went back to Guns and Gear the owner was there. I told him what had happened and showed him my receipt. He realized that this was their fault. I asked if he could give me a discount on the Bersa 380? He was going to give me a small discount, I told what his employee told me. Being it was close to Christmas I went ahead and bought the Bersa 380 gun kit paying the difference because this was going to be a Christmas present. Buying a gun is not a joke! I Guns and Gear was totally unprofessional. I WILL NOT purchase anything from again!
