Decent food but unhelpful and annoyed staff.... Other places as good and more helpful. When I asked what would go well with the meat I selected, the man said he doesnt know me and cannot know what I like. When I acknowledged this but said he has experience with what people tend to like, he slowly enunciated what he had already said, as if I must have been unable to understand. He wouldnt say anything but this.I get that it isnt your job to tell me what I like to eat, but having made thousands of sandwiches, you can tell me if your kind of mustard or your kind of vinaigrette would go well or is ordered often with what base I want.... I had never been to potbelly and didnt know what they do best. Now I know they are best at making me regret visiting.
Another great quality sub/sandwich shop. Tried the new prime rib sandwich. The prime rib was tender and had a great meaty flavor. The bread was nicely toasted and soft on the inside. First time trying the Mac & cheese and it was amazing. The 3 cheese blend was rich and creamy, so flavorful. I added bacon and the bacon was perfectly meaty and cooked perfectly. Had to get the limited time apple cider donut sundae and boy was it filling. The donut was warm dense and moist with a great apple cinnamon flavor. The vanilla ice cream on top was great quality as well. 4.9🌟
So I stopped by for water on a diet. Saw the menu and had to come back. My recommendation? Pizza sandwich with peppers/onions/Italian seasoning and the powerhouse salad. I legit use this as a topping. They have this great spicy thing in in the center, greens, cucumber and avocado, perfect for a sandwich toping. Asked if they could do an Oreo, chocolate malt and it was delicious.
So good! Just wish that they would add black olives to their ingredients to put on the Italian, pizza sandwich.Would be perfection if they did!
First time eating Pot Belly last night and it was delicious! My new favorite place to get a sub! Will be ordering again tonight!
The food tastes ok, but the proportions-to-cost ratio is out of whack. Very Portland posh pricing =/
My partner and I discovered Potbelly while driving for Door Dash about a year ago. The food has always been great, I really love the pick your pair option on the menu. Anyway, today (Wed 5/5/21 at about 2:30) was our first time actually eating in one and I just want to complement the two ladies working the counter for their great customer service and kindness.
Drove across town to find they were out of chicken. Sad, but No biggie. Thought maybe the gal working was about to be off shift because everything was super rushed and super sloppy. No one was there eating or ordering! Sammich got really slopped together and was not the quality I expected. Who wants a sammich FULL of mayo. Then drove off before I realized I didnt get my soup and had to go back.
This place is like the reincarnation of Quiznos but worse. A gas station sub has more flavor at 25% of the price. Everything tasted off and when we looked inside the lettuce and tomatoes were definitely past their prime. Based on what we saw on the website and other reviews we definitely expected better. Not a place Id ever give a 2nd chance either. The only thing that was good was the chips but they didnt make them so that makes sense. If you like poor quality meat and veggies past there prime look no further as you have found your spot.
My family really like their sandwich 🥪we goes there at less three time a week myself I really enjoy the chilly
Tried Potbelly as a random pick for dinner. My 6 yr old picky as... well. Is chowing down and enjoying her sand. My soup and sand were very good too. Will order from there again. Though ill add extras to my sand.
I stopped by wanting to purchase about 6 small sandwiches for my office. At first I was ignored, and when they did notice me, they told me to move to the other side to order.. ok. I asked about the sandwiches and was told to go online to the catering menu... I said I just need about 6 sandwiches and he asked today? I said yes, and he told me again to go through catering. Mind you, I was the only person in the restaurant... He then told me he couldnt put names on the sandwiches (I didnt ask for that). I ended up walking out. They obviously did not want to make 6 small sandwiches for me. I went to firehouse deli and they were happy to make me whatever I wanted and did it in 15 minutes.
Food is really good, but the shop I went to which was over in West Oregon, was not nearly as good. The one working their was so rude. The conflict is complicated. But I was very much disrespected, and I am pretty sure it was because of my age. Anyways, great food, horrible service.
As a vegetarian I really missed sandwiches. This place has vegetarian options that are sooooo good! The hot peppers are delicious. Did not disappoint!
Always great food and they go above and beyond for their pickier customers
The Mediterranean sandwich I had was absolutely delicious, thankfully, b/c 2 of the 3 employees were not friendly. The girl putting add-ons on my sandwich was somewhere else in her thoughts, couldnt hear me & didnt follow instructions. Then they would absolutely not sell me any ice! Rather preposterous. It would be a Really (capital R) cool place if all the folks were friendly . . . the 1st girl was very friendly but it went downhill from there. Delicious sandwich nonetheless. Good value for the price too. I appreciate that.
Delicious sandwiches and very nice service.
Usually the sandwiches are pretty good but they have messed up my order twice now. They managed to put the only condiments I don’t like in the sandwich. They can’t hear anything customers are saying and I have to yell for them to hear, and they still mess it up. Some of the employees are rude and unfriendly.
Good sandwiches soup and chili
They took on a large order for me when they didnt have too. The staff there made it work and met all my needs. The lunch was delicious and my employees really appreciated the efforts of potbelly to make it happen. Thanks again.
Hands down the worst location. I used to work for potbelly (not this location) and I know how a sandwich is supposed to be made. The cookie was stale. The sandwich was sloppy. The only good thing was the drink. And it came in a bottle. Highly disappointed. Not the first time they’ve botched a sandwich either.
Hands down one of the best chicken salad sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’m super picky and they pasted with flying colors will be ordering again 🤤🤤
The staff is incredibly rude, unprofessional, and need to be coached.18:10 hours8/14/21
Just ordered from this location thru door dash and my sandwich is made completely wrong and you sent the wrong chips.
My kid LOVES this place. The sandwiches look & smell fantastic. The ONLY thing I wish is that they had at least one Vegan sandwich added to their menu because then I could order too. If that happens Id change my rating to 5 star. 👍
Who makes a chicken salad sandwich and doesnt put chicken salad on it? This is the second time this location has messed up this sandwich for us on a DoorDash order. Its literally just bread and the extra bacon my husband ordered. Luckily we had some deli turkey he could add to his sad, sad bread. We love Potbelly, but this is so disappointing, especially since its seems to be a pattern. (My order was correct, so two stars)
Best bread! My family loves the soups too. Wish they had more veggie toppings for the sandwiches but, otherwise one of the better sandwich chains.
I love eating here it is one of my favorite sandwich shops However over the past few months the customer service has plummeted. The employees are rude arrogant and unprofessional. Save yourself the money and go somewhere where else.
They will bring your order it to your car if you call when there. Good service in Covidtide!
A sandwich, not legendary but damn good all the same.
Wow so good, I got the pizza sandwich and WOW
Employees not helpful ignored me, then we’re Doing the online orders while my sandwich got cold and also touching his face then continued to use gloves with holes in them 🤢
I am adding a description of this review only because the business owner reached out asking why I Didnt enjoy me visitI find it very sad that anything short of a 5 star review is considered negative. This review culture in my opinion has RUINED the ability to understand peoples reviews. If everyone gives either 5 or 1 star than what is the point of have a 5 point rating system.I gave Potbelly 3 stars because I feel is is middle of the road. The food and service is not extraordinary in any way, it is OK. It should not be considered negative to be simply OK. I have never given any fast food restaurants 5 stars. If you look at my review history it is only restaurants that I find to be ABSOLUTELY AMAZING in one way or another.
The Italian sandwich on whole wheat with everything on it is just perfect. The flavors of all the ingredients on the toasted bread is amazing. My new favorite!
Good sandwiches!
I eat here once a week and the food is great but the customer service has never been very good, and today is the last straw and I will never ever eat here again. It is amazing to me how in this time of people need all of the customers they can get that you are still very very rude to your good customers.
The BLT on skinny bread was really good!
Food was good but no olives for an Italian sub... The service left a lot to desire, my partner was confused by the sign and tried to order a half sandwich and was treated like she was an idiot because she didnt see a sign on a different menu board saying you can only get the half in a meal... Never going back.
Best sandwiches in town by far. The flavor is so good if I could Id probably grab a sandwich every day for lunch.
Clean, quick, easy. Good variety of low-cal to gut-bomb. Great customer service.
The food is good but only when they get the order correct. Theyve messed up my order more than half of the times Ive gone and even though they gave me a coupon for a free sandwich the last time it happened Ill never go back. A free sandwich doesnt make up all the wasted time I spent having to go back and get my order remade.
Awesome sandwich shop to come to if you are craving warm, toasty and savory sandwiches made quickly and priced decently. I love coming here to get my favorite sandwich, the italian with lettuce, vinegrette, tomatos, avocado, and seasoning
This sandwich shop is just average in quality. I ordered a tuna melt with lettuce and pickles. The tuna was just average in taste, nothing special. The sandwich maker must have been taking a nap because he/she forgot the lettuce and pickles. And, it was not a melt. The bread, again just average in taste, was not toasted and the cheese was cold. Definitely not a melt. I wont waste my $ there again.
Food tasted great, but I think the staff was new, they messed up a lot and I had to consistently tell them what they were doing wrong.
I ordered an Italian sub with a house brewed iced tea. The restaurant was clean, tastefully decorated, and had plenty of character. While I was there the staff was certainly courteous and polite and humorous in a corky kind away. The sandwich was delicious and tasted exactly like I would expect an Italian sandwich to taste like. The iced tea was fresh and delicious.I would classify this restaurant in the top tier shelf alongside Firehouse Subs and I would eat here again.
Came here for lunch for the first time, itll be my last. The lady taking our order seemed like we were bothering her, no patience; the sandwiches were expensive/ok, but customer service is the most important thing for me.
The good: Pretty decent sandwiches. I prefer these over the Subway ones. The Bad: terrible service....the server (pudgy guy with mustache and goatee, no name tags in this store) had a terrible attitude like I was bothering him in his free-time or something. Just unfriendly and not helpful. When I asked something about the menu he said he didnt know what that item was and made no effort to find out and made clear he was not going to either. Not coming back here again.
Very nice service, limited modifications you do on your sandwich.bread quality is very nice. Ingredients are fresh and nice setup of every store.
Very overpriced, the bread is rough and my mouth suffers after getting a sandwich so salads are better. Every location does things differently so just because you order the same thing from one location it won’t be the same at another. The sandwiches are SMALL but the salads are bigger. The taste is ok but they need more options for toppings. It’s nothing special really.
Various good selections of sandwiches smoothie soups was very delicious good atmosphere decor was fantastic it fits style
Good food. Staff is great. Prices are pretty good too!
One of my worst first time experiences in a restaurant.Pros:- Clean Dine In- Clean BathroomsCons:- Service- Appeal of food- Value of food for Price- Incorrect Orders- No Toasted VeggiesExpressing my first time, the orderer who I believe was the supervisor on staff was rather bland and didnt offer any suggestions.I would have honestly loved the special for today, but I didnt see it until halfway through my order. The fixing helper in the middle appeared to be new and untrained as there was a pile up of sandwiches. Meanwhile the cashier appeared appalled by the slowness of his coworker and just stood there and glared at her. Especially after she expressed she wasnt new, though had just been off work for a week.I was not given a tray to eat with my dine in experience, I was given a bag. Henceforth when I found my order was incorrect and tried to return to the counter I dropped half of my sandwich. After I expressed I was having a bad time and wanted to leave, I was offered a refund however with rather rude service to the point of also misgendering me.So many better sub shops around, even Subway.
Got halfway through the ordering process and had to tell the worker to slow down barking questions at me like I had been there before. The curt and impersonal order taking was rude, but not uncommon for the portland area. But then when the worker said that they dont have any vinegar for their sandwiches, I had to tell her to keep the food and left. Honestly, what kind of sandwich shop doesnt have vinegar to go with the oil the offer? What a waste of food.
Nice roast beef sandwich a fairly good milkshake
Really goodsandwiches. Theyre ran through a pizza oven. About 7.50 per sando. I often order ahead for pickup. This locations line is never very long and if it is it moves quickly. They have unique chips. Cookies, mac and cheese. Soups ice cream milkshakes. For a comparable price, it is 10x better than subway. Choice of white wheat or flatbreads.
Quick service. Good sandwich
Favorite sandwich shop around. More flavor and fresher tasting than any other chain sub shop. Try the spicy peppers on your sandwich if you can handle some heat.
Delicious affordable sandwiches. I would gladly come back, the service was friendly, and the selection was wide of sandwiches. Definitely worth a stop in.
I love this sandwich shop.Tasty options for sure, but I always for the italian in white. The bread and meat are toasted (Quiznos style) and the hot peppers are powerful.Comes out as a nice rolled up, crispy, savory sammich.I recommend.
Havent been here in awhile, but sandwiches are still good. Live music if you like that sort of thing.
Was looking for a good deli sandwhich. Sandwhiches were great and creative.
This is my go to sandwich shop as of late. They guarantee that you will be through the line in 8 minutes which makes it ideal for lunch when Im at work. It doesnt taste overlyprocessed or fake but instead fresh. The best way to describe it is Jimmy Johns but toasted, which makes it that much better.
Delicious tasting sandwiches. Solid fillings and the bread doesnt taste like its main ingredient is air. They are made fresh and to your liking, but their different house versions are great to try. Located in a busy plaza next to Fred Meyers, but its central to Beaverton and there is plenty of parking. Please please do yourself a favor and avoid Subway. There are too many options around to be sacrificing taste. Fill yourself up.Best sandwich sub spots in Beaverton?1. Monkey Subs2. Potbelly3. Jersey MikesJust my opinion.
The flavor is okay, but the prices are ridiculous. My half turkey club sandwich was tiny. The positive part of my visit was the staff was friendly.
Loved the friendly employees and fast service. The employees are great!
Good place to go staff is a little slow
The Wreck sandwich with the broccoli cheddar soup is THE BEST sandwich I have ever had
I eat lunch here about once a week. The sandwiches are great and are very reasonably priced.
With a name like Potbelly you would think the sandwiches would be big. They taste great! Wish they were bigger!
The sammies were good as usual, but the employees are what made this time great. Trey and Dave were funny and very personable. Will most definitely keep coming back!
Very good sandwich experience. A step above the usual Subway
Great sub sandwich, beats any other sub shops flavor and quality!
This place is efficient and makes a good sandwich. Its as if Quiznos got a major facelift and got a better menu. I had the turkey club and it was delicious.
No flavor or unique. Blah...
Not bad but personally not my fav sandwich place. Personally I prefer Subway.
Food was excellent and the staff was great when my daughter got a bloody nose. Thank you
We found chicken in our veggie sandwich, and the staff didnt even try to make it right. Very disappointing! Dont come here if you are vegetarian or like good customer service.
Always an excellent Sandwich at Beaverton location and at PDX!
Nice place, kinda cold inside but food is alright. I think it could be better though
Good food, but can get same quality for less at other establishments. $15 for a sandwich and side of mac and cheese is no bargain.
Sandwich (club) was dry, ingredients were bland. And, as you can see from the comments, the managements response is to copy/paste the same response
Love the manager and assistant manager. Always working so very hard for their customers. Thank you!
Excellent sandwiches, quick and kind customer service.
Even though they are literally on every Street in downtown Chicago, they do not need a presence in Beaverton. Not a fan.
The staff here needs to smoke less pot so they can actually pay attention to their customers. I cant count how many times I have to repeat my order to everyone in line only to have it be wrong when I walk out the door.I really dont care how much fun the staff may be having while working. I care that my order is right and that I didnt have to tell them 6 times before paying.
Friendly staff and the turkey sandwich that was on special was very good, will come back again
Love Potbellys, but this is the only location without breakfast and I was quite disappointed. Sandwich and service was great though.
Amazing place, food and friendly staff..we ll come back again
Good sandwiches. Everything is made to order and toasted right before your eyes.
Very good very tasty healthy options. Love the Powerhouse salad.
Terrible customer service at this location.
Terrific breakfast sandwiches at a great price before 11:a.m. at the Centerpoint Shop on Kruseway in Lake Oswego.
I love the bread and the fresh ingredients.
Good food for a reasonable price
Great food and friendly staff I cant wait to go back
I love this place! Great sandwiches and even the pickle is good.
