My favorite market I love how they go above and beyond to help disabled people and elderly

I shop at this store by default, they closed their other bigger, better store nearby a few years ago. This store needs a serious upgrade, just looks and feels dated. There are a few friendly people here, but for the most part, not so much. I really like their meat dept, but most of the guys behind the counter act like they hate their jobs. Most of the female cashiers wear garish makeup like its war paint. Oh well, I still shop here.

Go to buy fried chicken its good and the people that work there are helpful

Stater Bros is a Fine market! I am in LOVE with the meat counter! The staff is very friendly n helpful. Their steaks are top notch n reasonably priced. It was my hubbys birthday, so steaks, baked spuds n salad it was!

First time there was a little pricy but products were well worth it

They have the ICE cream flavor I want. The price is not bad.

Horrible experience. The lady at the food kitchen had an attitude when serving me friend chicken and it was noticeable in the way she handling the chicken. There wasn’t many thighs left and when asking her she said the new batch was for another order. Her coworker than brought a new batch and corrected her and didn’t even apologize and said oh I guess now we have some. Also when the employee replenished the fried chicken, he just pour the chicken over the chicken that was already there not following common food procedures. My visit was around 1:10-135

This is a great Staters Bros market. Its always clean, the employees are friendly, the produce & meat are always fresh and I pretty much can find everything I need. I definitely enjoy shopping here and made this my main grocery store late last summer during the pandemic.

As a customer I excepted good customer services from them.manager you ask him for help and he goes ask other employees. I mean that’s why he is there to help. I’m never going there again they lost one customer.

The mantra about their meat is true. I love the fact they will cut to your desired thickness and let you see it before wrapping it up. Great meat, service and prices all in one supermarket. The produce is always fresh too its a great Staters location with great people working there.

I was getting deli food this large man started shouting over my order. No big deal. He made it to the clerk I was with and was talking about me. There is always someone suspecting at this store but I dont care what happened... he was smushing his shoes -- wont be long before he has disabilities I didnt appreciate it. It actually looks like they have regular clothes Anti-Theft. Something about this store is vigilant.

The chicken there is hot and ready to eat

They sanitize shopping carts constantly, friendly & very helpful. Some will walk you directly to an item youre looking for. Ample amount of organic products & Silk coffee creamer. Dont forget the deli.

The grocery clerks and other workers are all friendly and glad to help. Stater Brothers meat continues to be #1 among the grocery chains. My whole family agrees! The Stater Brothers store brand items (Cleo & Leo baked goods, etc) are really tasty and not very expensive.. I especially like this store because it has everything you need without being too big inside to navigate. Its just a nice neighborhood supermarket.

Its the only store thay carry creamy noodles w/c all i need.

Meat department employee by the name of Kevin whom wears a white coat is horrible!! He is very rude and unprofessonal when dealing with customers.Customer service is not his forte.

I came in to shop for my groceries after a long day after work & the cashier Raylena was so nice! She checked me out fast and we were having a good conversation about my cats. She also knows how to bag good as well & she told me about all the good deals stater bros has. I brought only one ice cream & she tells me if I buy three more they are on sale for 2.49 each. I will definitely come back to shop at this grocery store again!

The produce is great. So is their customer service. I have a allergy to Turkey and every time we go to the deli they have had no problem cleaning off the slicer to make sure there will be no issues. In fact one time one of the ladies recognized me and remembered. Before I got to order she double checking if I was the person who had the allergy. It felt great to know that they are taking note of that kind of issues. Today when I went it one of the cashiers not just remembered me but remembered my name.

They have good service good inequality 💯📸👌👋

Well it was a very brief visit I needed to go run and get some fried chicken and some potato salad in the evening for my mom and myself to eat for dinner and I found the closest Stater Brothers jump for joy and took off for it theyre very nice there is very clean and they have everything you dont have to go to Walmart people really you got over there and you can go over there day after day after day and you will not find one thing that youre really looking for you go to Stater Brothers one time and you find everything you looking for Im serious Ive been looking for stuff for a month or more and couldnt find it when stairs no problem so it is theyre packed this and this was this was located either in Lakewood or Long Beach Im not quite sure

Always friendly service. I find most of my needs for groceries, special ingredients or just favorites.

Last I wish that I would have went to stater Brothers in the first place and saved myself a lot of time and heartbreak because I went to Walmart and no turkeys I went to food for less and no turkeys I went to Superior market and no turkeys and finally I went to stater Brothers and turkeys galore.And I found the perfect turkey 11 lb they had everything I needed and then some the workers are very nice and very playful they help me out they even help me carry out my food if Im disabled so I was very nice so next year Im just going to stater Brothers and when I left they had tons of turkeys so if you need a turkey Im pretty sure that theyre open today they still have turkeys and at a good price.

I usually do all of my grocery shopping here. Its very convenient. The store is clean and staff friendly.

This Stater Brothers Market has a great Produce Department as well as an excellent Meat Department. The butchers will make sure that you get the precise cut of meat that you need. Their grocery prices are very reasonable. And the staff is outstanding.

The ladies in thebakery and the deli know their business . The market has always had the products and the brands I like at reasonable prices. The crew at stater brothers are knowledgeable and always friendly and courteous . For this old war horse thats a big plus .

Stater Bross staff is on top of things here at the market. Staff was very helpful through out my shopping experience. Not to mention the very friendly staff at the check out. Stater Bros is offering in store shopping with no crowds...which is great.Stater Bros managment... hats off to you.

I refused to go to this store in Paramount, CA due to lack of caring management and security. I was asdulted by a customer as I prevented them from attacking an elderly man.

Very quick in and out, they had almost everything i needed. Very clean store and friendly employees.

At this establishment you either have two experiences either really good or not wanting to go back for the most part it’s good however like today I honestly wonder if some cashiers understand what customer service is. If I’m paying one pack of yogurts in the express lane I should not have to have a cashier look at me and with an attitude and tell me if I want fast service to go to the fifth lane it’s an express lane for a reason not to charge another customer about 200 dollars worth of food. I understand at times it gets busy and we wouldn’t mind the wait but instead as a customer who goes more than once a week I expect to be respected and not the blatant attitude of the employee it is early in the morning I understand however on more than one occasion have I been let down by this establishment. On another occasion I asked a cashier how their day had been and I received “good but a conversation is not worth having you wouldn’t understand” I might be a Latin women but I assure you I understand.

Awesome service in the butcher department. Didnt get the young man name. Went there after work few minutes after 9pm on a Saturday June 13th. He was very friendly to all the customers he did a great job working by himself. Thumbs up. Hope he advances in the company some day 👍

I’m very disappointed in your chicken tenders and potato wedges, after I ate it, my stomach was hurting and I had a massive diarrhea, I’m not sure if that’s normal. & the cooking oil was very black and seemed dirty. 🤦🏻‍♀️

And the reason Im going to give it five star is because they were at the game saver I have been searching for The Chop Suey packs to make pork chop suey all of Albertsons do not carry it nor do they carry carry bean sprout. so I was going to settle for stir fry veggies that Stater Brothers produce employee said they did Carrie got stir fry mix once she directed me to the bean sprout I seen in a different location the bag of Chop Suey mix witch just made me smile maybe produce employees need to freshen up on their inventory other than that they were great people nice. They made possible to have my pork chop suey dinner. thank you

Ive been shopping there for years, what I like about it is that theres always staff on the floor to help you find your items.

Always a good place to get your meats. So they have a full butcher service. Prime rib is way cheaper here and just as good as the Costco prime ribs. They also have other meats and steaks.

The service and the meat are always excellent. Thank you for being one of the few uplifting places during these challenging times.

Your cashiers should do less talking with other associates and listen to your customers. shop at this store all the time and cashiers are always talking to each other. Last visit told cashier I wanted to pay half the bill and she changed me for the entire bill. Please listen to your customers

Their vegetables are not as good as they use to be.. Ive had the tomatoes go rotten in 2 days, they also lack of high ended cheeses

I had placed an order for my grandsons birthday cake on a Saturday with the intent to pick it up the following Sunday. The following week when I went to pick it up they didnt know anything about it. The pastry chef told me not to worry she would get started on making it right away. I told her what I wanted which was a full sheet, red cake with blue spiderwebs. She said she would do her best but the spiderwebs were going to prove a challenge. I was grateful that she didnt say no and she agreed to make the cake. After she finished we both looked at the cake and agreed it was a semblance of what I wanted. It was the right colors but the web looked more like squares and the cake itself looked lumpy and uneven. I know it was not here fault as she was under a lot of pressure to get the cake done and she gave it her best. She called the manager and he was so compassionate and really tried to help. Even though the cake didnt turn out the way I had planned I was still very grateful the pastry chef didnt say no she couldnt do it and turn me away. The manager didnt have to be nice and sympathetic and discount the cake. These two people made an experience that could have been bad to a not so bad one. PS: When my two year old grandson saw the cake he yelled out Spiderman!
