Solid grocery, smaller than the ones I normally go to but has enough of the basics to make it work. Still crowded produce section (same designer Im thinking, too tight for Americans), and the one nice thing is they have carts that will hold the grocery basket that are smaller and easier to push around.

Clean store in general, but I will like to comment on the food quality at the food court. I had the worst Korean tofu stew seafood soup there, it looks like they straight used a frozen mix seafood bag from the freezer. Shrimp is super tiny, and there are more veggies in the soup than seafood. Bibimbap is horrible, rice tastes like porridge, it is covered in chilly oil. Just huge disappointment. The food quality is not comparable with the Edison location Hmart.

A+ market, very clean, huge selection of exotic foods. If you live by it you should shop there. We stop between trips down to South Jersey.

Best seafood selection you will find in the area. Lots of Asian goodies, but there are also plenty of American staples. There is also a bakery inside a small food court that includes Mochinut.

Went for the first time today. Almost an hour away from where we live but theres not a lot of Asian supermarkets in north west NJ. First the positives... It is convenient to get to from various major roads. The parking was also easy and numerous. The store is super clean and the employees very warm and friendly. Large selection of Asian cuisine from meats to produce to fish. Ive never seen a live king crab before! So why then just 4 stars? Heres the negative... Price. Thats it. The meats especially are twice what youd pay at a Shoprite, Acme, Price Chopper, etc. The fish too was very expensive, as was pretty much everything. I guess if price were no object youd absolutely love this place. As for me, I like a good bargain when I see it, and there werent any to be found here.Im not saying dont go here, in fact, just the opposite. I recommend this place, just know going in that the prices are high.

Always have amazing deals on produces, especially for scallions. Love the new mochi donut booth located inside H Mart.

Great fresh produce and seafood. Also it has a little food court to try your favorite korean cuisine.

Most complete Asian market. The store is well organized and easy to find items. Extremely clean. Great variety of sea food and meat as well. I love cooking and I am learning to cook Asian food. You can find any ingredients. Great experience.

Awesome H Mart! Fully stocked, tons of goodies, lots of snacks and Ramen. Definitely worth a visit!

We came in here looking for a specific candy. The people working were not helpful or nice. We showed them picture of the candy and they were just not helping or saying if they had it or not instead they said isle numbers. Anyways just dont like the atmosphere and personalities.

I discovered hmart when a Japanese friend 8f mine took me here over 10 years ago. Not being of Asian descent, it was quite extraordinary. I really enjoy this market. Great selection of fruit and fish. I love something called buckwheat tea and buy it here. There always something exciting here. We once saw them cutting up a huge entire yellowfin tuna. Very clean store. Also great sashimi salmon. Sometimes I try random things, I dont always like them, but happy to try.

Excellent quality produce and a tremendous variety of fruits and vegetables as well. The restaurants are great give them a try, I also love browsing the grocery section and the sweets! I always come here for my tofu and rice because they offer so many different kinds and great prices. Ive had the tuna and sashimi also and now cant bring myself to get it anywhere else.

Perfectly fine hmart. This place had a smaller than expected seafood selection and larger than expected kitchenware selection vs other hmarts

The only reason I didnt chose 5 stars is because to be the perfect place to enjoy shopping and find everything you like and need is the fact that products are a bit expensive! Meaning that similar products are found also where at a more reasonable price. Otherwise this would be the One and only place to consider for food shopping!!However I am basing my comments on the leaving style and affordability that I am used to!

Looks clean, smells clean, the stuff in looking for always looks fresh or new. Not noisy, and the cashiers lanes are fast and efficient. Not like some famous Japanese grocery store I know of, lol...!

I love how organize and clean the store is. The products of their shelves and displays are always neatly placed. Love the beef selection, huge kimchi selection. Small cute bakery.

It is Valhalla for foodies who enjoy South East Asian foods. Or any area of Asian foods at all. The seafood is incredible, the meat is amazing, albeit, pricey, it is well worth the price. The food hall, though currently 50% closed, was fantastic as well. We cant wait to go back!

Good one stop for Asian products . Many isles of good stuff . Few products are expensive than outside markets but you get almost anything here :). There is also a fresh fish/lobster section, which sells fresh seafood.Parking is good . Lots of parking spots available. Hmart also has a few Korean style restaurants which are good .Overall a good shop for all needs ..

Very clean market. I love the presentation and the huge variety of meats and other goods. Prices are reasonable. If you are open to trying new things (and dont read Korean), its a wonderful experience to shop here. Staff is very helpful also!

Cool store, very large selection, you can find kosher products if you look for them but not so many. Only downsides is the whole place reeks of fish, however, the plus side of that is there is a really cool selection of fish to look at even if you dont plan on buying.

Fresh produce, meat, seafood, housewares and baked goods. Free gift on opening day for Smart Card members. Also there will be a free gift for anyone who spends over $30.00. There will also be cultural events such as dances and performances. I NEED to be there! Great experience. There are eat-in options available, a bakery/cafe, as well as regular supermarket type items.

Probably my favorite supermarket...lots of great stuff including things you wont find most other places plus an nice little restaurant area with several shops/options to enjoy

Im not sure if this happens every day, but I love the fact that they use brown paper bags, and not plastic bags. It is environmentally friendly, holds so much more items, and is sturdy enough to not worry about stuff falling out the bottom.I also love that it isnt busy on Thursday nights. I will go here more often on weekdays.

I love going to H Mart. Thats the first time I went to the one in Paramus and while its not as big as the one in Palisades Park it was full of interesting Korean groceries, fantastic produce and it has a food court as well to get something to eat so you dont go crazy and buy all the things in the grocery store. They have Hello Kitty toilet paper! We bought marinated short ribs, Ban Chan and delicious seaweed flavored potato chips. The short ribs and the Jinga prepared foods are a little too sweet for me. But we ate them!

Im sorry but everything here is overpriced. Im from New York, my local Yonkers hmart has better price than this location. But as always hmart is clean and nice to visit, for that i give 2 stars

Solid HMart. Good clean produce and meat supply. Smaller location means limited in selection in relation to other HMarts but has all the essentials.

Very nice and clean store with great availability of fresh produces. Got plenty of collection of Korean grocery products. There’s a food corner with 5 stores serving Korean style dishes. The interior is much better than other H Marts.

Newly opened Korean supermarket H-mart located near the BJ’s and Garden State Plaza mall. Clean and big, with Bakery and small food court. They also carry the sliced meat for asian hot pots. I think this is the best H-mart in the Bergen county. I really recommend this place for everyone wants to taste the Asian food and delicious bakery.

Smaller than some of the hmart Ive been to but it have good food so worth the trip. Just wish theres an hmart in Wayne, itd be much closer to me lol.

Smaller but newer H-Mart for quick shopping. They stock small portions due to the size limitation but they have almost everything the other H-Marts carry. Almost. Also has a bakery and a food court, which also are smaller than others.

Good selection of foods with a wide array of Asian fruits, vegetables, meats and fish. Fresh and well kept. A pretty good HMart for the area! Just a tad small compared to others.

A modern H Mart with a good layout and nice shelving. This store does alot in a small footprint. On opening day they had lots samples and employees restocking. Looking forward to trying the food court!

Very large Korean supermarket. Very similar to the general look and feel of theTaiwanese based 99 Ranch market recently opened in Hackensack. I have to say, however, that 99 Ranch is much larger and offers a lot more selection in virtually all departments, including the hot food and restaurants. I ate there from Sangs restaurant having their Black bean sauce, pork and noodle bowl. It was okay and filling, but not great. Very friendly help by Sang L at the counter, who spoke very little English but managed to get my order right, smiling the entire time.

I love Heart. I usually go to the one in Yonkers, NY but today I was in NJ so I went to this location for the first time. Theyre taking COVID-19 protocol seriously, temp checks for everyone walking in. Staff guiding you where to go. Exceptional! Negative, the store is smaller than Im used to, very narrow aisles & not many selections but again it a great chain supermarket with FRESH produce & meats.

Big store and decent selection. Bad service - they don’t care about bagging your items. They put soft fruit and noodles UNDER coconuts and heavy items. I paid for crushed food.

Finally Hmart opened in Paramus. Conveniently located in route 17 across BJ’s and with ample of parking space. Seems interiors are inspired by Chelsea Market, with few restaurants(Korean, Chinese, Sushi) and bakery.There are wide variety of high quality produce including organic fruits and vegetables. If you are a fan of tropical fruits, then this is the place. Fresh sea food, variety of kimchi, dumplings 🥟, prepared Korean food etc are available

You may want to use a Navigation system to get there the first time since its in the very busy Rt. 4/17 cloverleaf and you dont want to miss it. Clean and safe facility. By the way, we need more H-Marts in NC please.

June 5th, 2020Store is open, I went in without waiting in a line outside. Use sanitizer provided by store to clean the cart. (They also provided disposal glives.) Everything seemed normal,Im sure the store is monitoring numbers of shoppers. Everyone was wearing a mask. I did wait in line to Christ but it moved really quickly.Cant get in. This is the first supermarket one need to wait in long line to get in.Sunday, visit this store @10am, although food hall is still not opened, there are plenty of parking space. The aisles are narrow, expect it would be jammed pack with weekend crowd. Suggest to come shopping on weekdays or early and late during weekend.

The fresh fish & vegetables are to live for! Plus, there are a variety of delectable international products.

Bad experience today. Most of the chives in the package are already rotted. None of the cucumbers is fresh. I got 2 packs of small cucumbers. As soon as I got home and opened it, I already saw a few cucumbers rotted. Very disappointing.

It’s a great store to get Korean and other Asian food. However it’s getting ridiculously overpriced. It feels like they increase prices every few months. I used to buy everything there. But now I just get Korean specialties and go elsewhere for the staples like diary, fruits, and vegetables. Many items are up to 2x more expensive than in other chains.
