You would think the owner lady knows how to schedule but she didn’t even know how to run her own business. Disorganized

My kids have been going to the school for about three years. We are now moving overseas and I wish I could take the school and teachers with us. This place feels like home. The kids are well taken care of and the instructors and directors have very strong core family values that are passed on to the kids. The quality of the instruction is excellent. We also love the Broadway summer camp. In a period of approximately three weeks they put up a play with costumes and everything. The kids get studio experience as well. We love PIMA and will miss everyone so much! ❤️

Caveat Emptor: The only thing international about them is their staff. On that note, the music teachers are all great with kids and very kind (which is not at all true of the admin staff or owners.) However, if a business is going to hold itself out as an international academy (of... well... anything) it should be just that. This place is nothing of the sort. They dont compete with other schools, programs, or (ahem, actual) academies, not locally and certainly not abroad. At best, they have garage-band-style recitals on a makeshift stage next to the coffee machine. All bashing aside, the teachers save the day, in that its actually not a bad place for giving your kid a sneak peek into the world of music, but forget about anything more than that... despite the grossly misleading name on the door.

I arrived never having been there before. I was greeted by the owners and was treated as if I were a long time customer. I explained that my elderly mother had recently lost her husband of more than fifty years. As her son, her request to me was to find someone we could trust to bring dad’s guitar back to life. He had played and sung over many years to my mom with that guitar. Mission accomplished that day! I haven’t experienced that great level of caring and personalized service in years. I love this place! The teachers are very professional and caring. Karina is always very helpful and makes sure that our daughter doesn’t miss a class. Very happy with the results we have seen in only one year. My daughter used to take classes in another academy and never made this improvement in years going there... Now she is motivated and takes piano, cello and ukulele lessons...And she just joined to one of the bands! Thanks PIMA! Keep being amazing!

A family environment with excellent musicians teaching. They are patient and go above and beyond to help our kids grow in their music path. My daughter goes to the school for about 2 years and love it!

Such a welcoming academy. I have two sons, one typical and one with autism. Although my instructor was not familiar with working with children with special needs, he welcomed my kids with open arms and works tirelessly to make sure they are grasping all the concepts he teaches. I love taking my kids to their lessons. Kind staff makes everything so much more pleasurable. Thank you!

PIMA really is a family! Every staff member is so genuinely helpful and kind, my lessons there are what I look forward to the most! The front desk is so organized and effective, and the teachers are very kind and knowledgeable- I’ve learned so much in such a short time and look forward to continuing my journey here :) If you’re considering taking up music lessons-regardless of previous experience- DEFINITELY give PIMA a try! you won’t regret it!!

The academy is great, teachers have experience teaching the kids. It is definitely a family environment. We love everyone there, we definitely recommend this academy to everyone.

They called themselves a family. Well, if they think their students are “family” why do they kick an 8 year old boy out of their academy just because his parents were concerned about his safety? Yes, it happened to us. After being in this academy for 3 years, we went to a performance in Disney Springs. According to the staff, the kids had to be taken from a McDonalds to the changing room in only 2 cars. They put 4 + kids on the back seat of a sedan (not sure why they did not take my offer of using our minivan and/or rent one), most of these kids legally need a booster and could not even use the seat belt. Once we brought this up to the owners in the McDonalds parking lot, they got upset and asked us to leave and said our son should not be playing on the performance. Again, this is in Orlando and we invested time and money to get there. At the end, we allowed them to take the kids like that, so our kid could play on his concert as he was expecting. We tried to follow the car to make sure the kids were safe but lost them on the road. Performance went well, but after we got home couple of days after, we received a call from the owner saying that they are a family and they are not problematic people and did not want to see my son in their academy again. The only thing my son kept asking us was: “What did I do wrong?”. We explained to him that he did not do ANYTHING wrong, but after that he quit playing the drums. We offered him to take him to other academies, but he just does not want to play drums anymore after the experience. So, should they be calling themselves a family when they kick the kids out their academy just because their parents are concern about their safety?Would I recommend this place? ABSOLUTELY NO!

Our family is very impressed by the Parkland International Music Academy. They are so accommodating. My son is going for Guitar and drum lessons and he is very happy with the instructors. You always get a smiley welcome when you enter into the music academy.

It is a nice academy!! professional, organized, multicultural and excellent teachers. I like!! The academy organizes events with children to play in bands, for them it is fantastic because are performed in Orlando parks.
