I stopped in the other day for the first time and the guy who was working (the owner perhaps?) was very cool/friendly. I collected comic books when I was young, and now that Im retired (old) I am going to start collecting again. I think this will be my go-to shop.

I believe Larry is the Watcher disguised as a comic book store owner. He is a bottomless well of comic book and sports card knowledge. His store has the same posters on the wall from 20-30 years ago and has tons of long boxes with back issues from every age. He really does his best to engage every customer and help you find exactly what your looking for. If you go to another comic book store on the west side… WRONG CHOICE! Flat out best comic book store in the county!

Love this comic shop. The owner is down to earth and easy to talk to and knows his business. Reasonable to great prices on back issues, good deals on all the newest comics, and a broad selection of trading cards.

He has a ton of comics and single cards. Small selection of packs around mostly baseball. Great store to look around and maybe find some hidden gems.

Just a genuinely solid Comic shop. The owner is extremely genuine and friendly. It was my first time there today and I just enjoyed the experience so much. He loves talking sports and comics two of my favorites in one shop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Old school comic book store... Helpful, knowledgeable people. We are from the Cincinnati area, and havent found a place like this locally. Everything was well organized, and there were lots of old and new comics to choose from. They even had vintage trading cards for sale (old new stock). I would return next trip for sure. Prices were reasonable, so we came away with a haul!

I can not say enough great things about this comic book store. If youre looking for specific comics this is your place. The prices are outstanding and the owner is great guy that really values his customers. Around Christmas time the owner gave things away for free to his valued customers and after Thanksgiving he has a half off sale that is great. This may just be a comic book store but the devotion to customer service and appreciation makes this business so much more. I fully intend on purchasing anything comic book related here for as long as this business is open.

I visited the local comic shops before landing on this one and ever since Ive been getting my pull list here. If you just want comics you should order them online or through them directly to your mail. But if youre like me, you want the experience of a comic shop while youre getting your comics. The owner reminds me of the comic shop I used to go to in Lima (Ohio) where the owners knew me by name and quite often wed catch up on recent geek news or just whatever was floating around at the time.Its a great place if you are into comics and if you want a good comic shop experience, even if you are a first-timer.

Great store. Friendly owner. Good selection. They had what I wanted. The reason I didnt give it a perfect rating is because the store is small and cramped. Also some of the books need a good dusting. The owner of the store however is very friendly and has extensive knowledge on the comics he sells. Stop on in if youre in the Parma area.

This is the comic shop of comic shops. I have been to almost every shop in the area and B & L has hands down the best selection of old and one of a kind comics. You can go anywhere and get new releases (which of course B&L has) but it seems harder and harder to find a place you can spend hours in flipping through books and finding those unique pieces for your collection. The owner is an amazing guy. Really down to earth and let me bug him with questions and float around his store all I wanted. I will be coming back. This place is my go to shop. Well over 30 years in business doesnt happen by accident.

First time in, Id have to agree with prior review, shop too small. Owner friendly. Huge inventory but boxes so stuffed, its so hard to troll the boxes so I didnt. The books clearly not looked through often as poly bags were decaying and stuck together...ugggh...prices seem a bit over but owner seemed like he might negotiate. Shop could use more space and cleaning, felt like I was in a section of a thrift shop more than a comic shop. I gave it a 4 stars solely because inventory is huge (not sure if good but potential there if you wanna take effort) & owner was super friendly. Ill probably give it another shot next time Im in town.

About 3 years ago I came to this place and man oh man was it awkward. The dude that works there is weird. So we are just browsing around and he is just sitting there staring off in space. Not sure if he was stoned or what, but he was just zoning out. It was really intriguing. I found it hard to concentrate on searching through his wares as I kept finding myself looking back at this phenomenon. Anyway we found a few items to buy. Just a couple packs of cards. We go to get rung up and he says he cant put it on debit unless its a purchase of 5 bucks and up. Understandable, so I tell my sister in law to find another card she may want. The guy looks at me and says: You dont have to feel obligated to buy from me. LOL he thought it was a pity buy at this point. It really wasnt because I wanted my card packs, but I guess he felt the need to point that out.Flash forward 3 years later. I go there again. My business was actually with a place that serves terrible gyros next door (I didnt know that at the time btw) however I was intrigued to see if I got the creepy zoning out guy again. Jackpot. He was a little less zoned out this round though. Maybe he was sober. Anyways we looked at some of his card packs, and glasses. Nothing good so it was time to move on. As we are leaving I say Thanks have a good day! to which he replies: Can I help you with anything? I think this dude got it backwards because thats the question you ask when you enter the establishment, not when leaving. He didnt bother asking the whole 5 minutes we were there, and then now decides? Such a weird dude lol.

Very friendly staff, but very small layout. Looks to be a good selection of old comics and wine cards, but not much else.

Is the same guy still there? I went there all the time when I was younger. The owner was a real nice guy and knew a lot about comics and cards.
