Greatest machine shop in Long Island, had my block for mercury outboard done there, excellent work timely manner, crew in there goes above in beyond. Very honest not looking to reap off customer, very helpful and knowledgeable, willing to borrow their own tools so job could be completed. It is hidden gem and I hope other shops be like them.

Always kind and always helpful. I even needed to borrow a tool because I didnt have the right torque wrench and with collateral he took care of me. He even looked up all the torque specs and printed them to make sure I have a copy somewhere!! Always worth going back.

Had to have my rod and crank assembly balanced and decided to go here because the place I last used for machine work took a very very long time with my stuff and the reviews were great.I called them on 10/29/20 and spoke to the owner on the phone and he was as nice as could be. He informed me that they were very very busy but that he would make it happen for me and get it done within a week and I didnt even ask him to do that or make it seem like I was desperate to have it done.I brought my assembly in on election day and the owner was there and informed me that since I intended to replace the harmonic balancer with a lightweight one I would need to have the lightweight one there for them to do the work. No problem, I ordered one and brought it to them on 11/9/20 and received a call on 11/13 that my rod and crank assembly was balanced and ready to go.Overall 5 star experience, they were quick, professional, reasonably priced and they crew and the owner seem like genuinely good people. The owner bent over backwards to get this done for me with the crazy amount of work he had going on. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for machine work.

Fair prices. Family owned business. Went to have my 1.7 Civic cylinder head and it was done and cleaned to my standards. Would use again for future business

Nothing but good things to say about Motorheadz- from the initial inquiry phonecall they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful discussing the services they offer. Once arriving, I was greeted and explained the exact process for machining down a flywheel, along with an ETA of about 1hr (which is a HUGE plus!). I dropped it off on a Saturday morning and picked it up maybe 2hr later when I was back in the area. The work was extremely well done, and the owner & son were very pleasant to deal with. I was even given a tour of the shop to see the different equipment they have, and other displays of their work. I would DEFINITELY recommend Motorheadz to anyone looking for quality machine work at an affordable price!

Couldnt get the work done on time when I was waiting for hours outside. I told him I had someone else that can do it. He waisted my whole day and then claims it was my fault and never told me anything. Then in a fit of rage dropping and banging my head on the table and dropping on the pavement outside while moving to my car. Now the valves show the impact and mating surfaces are all damaged on a $6000 bmw head.

Called around several shops to have my flywheel machined and decided to go with MotorHead (formally F&A) based solely on the persons insight and phone manners-never having met the person. If you have ever dealt with mechanics, youll understand. The shop is well equipped and can machine blocks, cylinders, intakes, cranks-even brakes . Its run by a father and son team, so you get personal and trusted work. My flywheel was machined perfectly and cost less!! I finally found a machine shop for my engine project and highly recommend them.

I only have 3 words to describe this business and the people who work there, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!. Tom is VERY personable, knowledgeable and knows how to treat a customer. A repair shop was going to charge me much more and take 2 days to replace 2 rear wheel bearings. It was a Friday and I called Motorheadz to find they close at 530. I got there at 8 mins to 5. Tom says I can get these done for you in about 25 min. I thought, WHAT!? REALLY!? Then Tom says Yea, were not open Sat or Sun so I can get it done quick for you so I dont ruin your weekend Again, WHAT!? REALLY!? Came back at 5:25 and sure enough they were done. Not only that, Tom noticed some wear on one of my hubs. he replaced it with a used one he had left over from another job....no charge. Again, WHAT!? REALLY!? Who does that!? These guys do. I would obviously recommend Motorheadz to any and all. Thanks for the great job guys!

It is now Motorheadz Machine Shop. Just a man and his son running a machine shop. Genuine and honest people who go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right. Highly suggested!
