Tried to purchase a used car from them. My husband and I both have good credit. We were going to trade in our 2016 for a 2013. Sat there for 3 hours and had my credit ran only for them to try an get us to buy a new vehicle and make a large down payment at the end. Wasted our time. Never again.In response to Drive Times response.I doubt youre really all that torn up about what happened to my husband and I. I will never recommend Drive Time nor will I waste anymore of my time on this company. We already found what we wanted elsewhere and are very happy with how we were treated. Your loss.

Brandon at this location was super nice and cool. He listened to my needs as far as what I was looking for in a car. We looked at 4 cars for my price range and I actually fell In love with all four cars. In the end I got a nice car. So thank you Brandon at DriveTime in Pelham.

Where do I begin. With my initial conversation with Dakota over the phone he seemed warm and sincere after meeting him his demeanor continued to be the same. He went well beyond the call of duty to accommodate my family and I. He continued to stay in touch with us and volunteered his assistance to the fullest. Several weeks later, I conducted Dakota again and he promised to call me back as soon as he rapped up his conversation with a potential client. He did just as he promised. By then my whole vehicle choice had shifted but Dakota found several option which were to my liking. On Saturday 2.23.20 we visited Dakota and the car which I chose over the phone which was in Parway. Drive time (which they went and retrieved in advance) was not what I 100% approval. Once again Dakota worked feverishly and found us another vehicle which we all were delighted with. Our last visit will be Saturday when we pick up the vehicle. Mr Dakota Week was patient. honest and detailed. He answered all our questions and most of our concerns. Not to mention the Pelham facility plays the best music and is so clean you can see your reflection on the floor. It has been a extreme pleasure to work with this young man.

This is the second time I have gone to drive time with the first time I waited 2hours with no help this time I schedule an appointment again showed up 20minutes earlier and I still waited an hour and a half so I left nobody tried to even check people that came in after me had got first priority both times

It was a great buying experience. Yes, the APR is high and yes we have to pay a high payment every month, but it is getting reported to my husbands credit score. Just finished up getting a new to me car from DriveTime. We have used DriveTime before so we were able to take part in their upgrade program. Service was awesome here! The team that works here is awesome. We were greeted by Rico the general manager who was very friendly then he introduced us to Kate who was beyond helpful and super great to work with. She waited as we went back and forth on different car options. She went above and beyond to make sure we were in the car we wanted. Katelyn Goodwin was AMAZING! We went in Saturday evening, and couldn’t leave with the vehicle because they couldn’t find the title. Katelyn got in contact with me Monday morning about 15 minutes before I was going to call and check the status of everything. The title was in one of the GA locations, and was sent overnight. However come Tuesday morning, the title was not at the Pelham location, Katelyn stayed on top of things and was informed that it was sent to another location in Birmingham, Katelyn personally went over and picked the title up so we could finally leave with the vehicle. There were some changes that were made on the paperwork and somehow the papers I signed Saturday night they couldn’t find. The payment went from $301 to $304, yes I know it’s only $3 but the person Katelyn had to pass the paperwork over to seemed to have a problem with it at first and made the comment “it’s only $3”. Katelyn told him she seen the paper that showed the $301 and wasn’t sure why it went up since Saturday. I told them I want it back down because it’s not my fault that THEY couldn’t find the title, otherwise we would have left with the vehicle Saturday night. They did get it fixed. Katelyn had the BEST customer service and AMAZING attitude and actually cares about her customers. If you go to DriveTime, DEFINITELY GO TALK TO KATELYN GOODWIN!!!!!!!

Brandon was awesome! He, figuratively, held my hand throughout the entire process. He was not pushy and catered to my purchasing needs. My only advice would be to NOT use the app to determine down payment. It could drastically change when you visit due to factors that the app does not include and it is dependant upon the type of vehicle youre looking for. I suggest utilizing a salesperson from start to finish.

I went into DriveTime a couple of weekends ago after scouring the internet for a reasonably priced used vehicle. I found one on their website that I liked and was within the price range I was looking for. I got all the paperwork, paycheck stubs, insurance information, and a utility bill in my name and went to go look at this vehicle. I approached the door and someone who did not even introduce themselves walked me to their desk. The first question he asked was, “Can I see your pay stubs?” At this point I was completely turned off but figured I would sit there and entertain this unprofessional sales man. He then asked me what my situation was. The proper question should have been,”What brings you in today?” I told him I was looking for a car with a low monthly payment preferably around $300. He then tells me that no car on the lot has that low of a payment. I asked,”What if a larger down payment was applied?” and he just said,” It would have to be a very large down payment” with that response I took my paperwork and the $8,000 I was going to put down on a $14,000 vehicle and left. My advice is to train your sales people to be professional and not have the mentality that everyone has a “situation”. I was ready to buy and could have bought the vehicle outright if the down payment of $8000 didn’t get me the monthly payments I was looking for. I didn’t even get the chance to test drive the vehicle or any vehicle. It would have been an easy sale and easy commission for this gentleman who clearly has no sales experience.

We went in two weeks ago and found a car that was at another location. F Thompson and team had it transferred to Pelham location. That’s all good and great. We called them yesterday before driving an hour away to make sure they could take a personal check, was told yes. We got up their and spent 3 hours sitting in the office. Went back and forth with things that they needed only to get a last response to say we can’t take a personal check. Okay, that was my last nerve. Farrah Thompson was very rude, untucked his shirt and said to his coworker, refund her check so we can go home! I will never use DriveTime. Very disappointed, they could have been a little nicer! I give them a - at that location!

Carlo exhibits everything that a leader should be. I observed even him picking up a paperclip and place it in the trash. The details truly matter and he shows that. Anthony and Eli were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The show room was clean and with all lights on in and well lit. The operation presented well from the parking lot to the bathrooms. Excellent buying experience. Superb customer service.

Anthony was wonderful!!! Very attentive. They get you in and out so you wont be in there all day! Very friendly staff! Wiley came right over, let me know what I can get with what I had down. AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I was very hesitant to go car shopping by myself. I went to a couple of lots and never talked to anyone. I finally decided I would stop by this drivetime since my nephew said I should. Im so proud I did! Every person I had to deal with was so professional and nice and I felt at ease right away.
