UPDATE: After writing this review, we were quickly contacted by PLS. They came to the house and grabbed some of the soil for testing. They spent a lot of time talking with us, and yesterday, they returned with the test results. According to results, there is nothing in the soil. This doesnt explain how our items growing in the soil died and growing in different soil next to it thrived. BUT it is important to me that the company came right out to talk with us and resolve the issue to the best of their ability. I couldnt have asked them to do anything differently. So I have changed my review to reflect their customer service.++++++My husband and I bought 8 yds of loam from Pembroke Landscape Supplies, and through much testing, weve come to the conclusion that there must be herbicide mixed in with the loam because all of our plants planted in that materials have died or will not germinate at all. Plants planted outside of that mixture, even in garden beds right next door or something in the SAME garden bed, are growing fine. I was hoping to email them but cannot find an email address for the life of me, and so far today, Im only getting a busy signal.If you see anything growing in these images, it was transplanted into the soil, where it is now dying OR its shown for comparison of soil that IS growing items and is not in the loam from PLS. We are just really disappointed. If nothing else, Id like PLS to be made aware of this issue so no one else ends up in the same predicament, when its really too late to start planting again. :( :(

Good quality materials and friendly staff

I highly recommend Pembroke Landscape Supply. I called for a delivery last Saturday, they had the stone in my driveway in 1 hour. The gentleman on the phone and the one who delivered were so great. They even gave me the size of the truck to make sure it would fit down my street. I called 3 places for estimates, they were hands down the cheapest for delivery, yet the furthest away. You won’t be disappointed if you use Pembroke Landscape Supply!!

So friendly! I’ve never done my own landscaping before, so it was super helpful to get some advice on how much stone I need. I’m really glad I went with more than initially thought—and that I’m having them deliver it (same day!). I’ll be back in the future!
