Menards is always a nice experience you go in and you find things that you need that you didnt even realize you didnt need them! Theres always great deals here and sales happening! Right now they have the 11% back on all purchases which is super beneficial. You get a rebate in the mail in a few weeks and can be used in the store. Employees here are usually very helpful and approach the customers to make sure that they are finding everything that theyre looking for. Menards is our number one Choice Home Improvement store!

I couldnt have made it these last 4 months without this Menards. Most of the employees are SO incredibly helpful. From carpet to a door to a snow shovel today 11-01-21! An employee who I failed to get his name even told me what kind of snow shovel to get and he said the flatter one. Great info. The 11% rebate always puts me in a good mood. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Customer service in the building dept and outside the building dept was great. Checking lady was also very nice. On the down side there were people in Menards just walking around the store. Wanted answers on a couple different things we were looking at but could find nobody to help. Then we went out in the yard to pick up what bought. The gate guard was less then pleasant and his response to where we would find our stuff was short and no direction. We were told to ask for help loading and to ask the gate guard and he would get someone to help. After driving around my husband finally went in the store to see what was going on. After about 8 mins the employee he talked to was able to find someone to help us in the yard. My husband heard the employee to tell him to hold his shirt on he would be there. He did show up, directed us to where we needed to be. Threw the first bag of sand in the car and because he threw it, it split open. Sand in the car 😠 I said something to him. He didnt throw anymore bags in the car and he did replace the one he threw in that split open.

Id love to give 0 stars!!! Mike Humphrey the General Manager has some serious anger issues. He’s so rude and i believe he should be talked to be higher ups! Come on menards you guys don’t deserve a manager in roid rage!!!

One of my favorite places. Found a great Christmas gift for my son who just became a home owner.

Stopped in today to buy bulbs - which I got - but I just loved their Christmas display! What a huge selection, Ill have to come back after my bulbs are in the ground for the winter.

Pretty standard Menards but I give them five stars for their friendly cashiers and for usually having plenty of inventory of items listed in their advertisements.

Friendly fun place to visit. Spent hours at this location walking around in amazement. This place is super clean and virus free.

Very good customer service. As soon as you enter the store you will see a employee with a smile and ready to help you. Did I mention that there is no need to ask for help if you need to find something?? Nope. They are there for you and ready to guide you.

Didnt have what I wanted, but great Customer service.

Discovered an item they forgot to put in my vehicle after purchase. Explained to supervisor I lived 70 miles away and could they simply refund my cc the $3.49 for the item. Supervisor refused! Said I need to drive the 70 miles back, bring receipt, and if their inventory confirmed I did indeed not receive the item they’d reimburse. I explained where the item was on their property and she said they’d monitor cameras. How some people get in a supervisor role with customer service skills like that is a mystery. She apologized that I was out my money. Bye bye Peoria Menards and hello Home Depot.

Kind of hard to find what you are looking for unless you are familiar with the store. Other than that, it is better than our tiny menards.

I had the worst experience at Menards on Monday. My husband and I want to buy a hood for the stove. They were sold out all but two we asked if the Box could be open so we could check the color. Stainless steel but they still have different colors the salesperson told us he could not open the box we were going to buy it if the color was correct but if Im going to pay my money I need to see what Im buying. And Im sure the Box could have been taped back if we didnt buy it Menards sales tape. We didnt put up a fuss. We still spent $50 which the head was $156 and we were really willing to buy it that day.

Always friendly staff, I will continue to shop here. Extremely competitive places as well, and clean store.

Went to make an exchange on a purchase that had an extended warranty. The woman at the return counter was very rude to me and my husband when all we were trying to do is to get information on what the policy was on returns that have a extended warranty purchased with a Menards credit card. Rudeness!!

Went looking at cabinets today at menards in Peoria. Monica and Dustin were so knowledgeable and helpful! They took their time and gave us options. Answered all our questions.

Nice staff, they have moved things around in the last couple of years, but they have a good selection of stuff usually.

My experience here has always been great. their employees are all over the place available to help you, and whats great is if they dont know the answer theyll direct you to the department and the person that can help you.

It is so sad and your employees just stand around and watch people load stuff and then if you start to look at him and turn around and walk away are they come up and ask you after youve already put 15 boxes of flooring on your cart and good luck finding one of them push-pull carts that you can carry flooring on the only ones that are around or the ones that the employees he used to carry their lunches and supplies and stocking so you want a better rate and change them things

I have to drive past Lowes and Home Depot, which I rarely do. I find the prices cheaper and great selections. I dont have to hunt for a sales person or chase them down while theyre trying to avoid you. Staff seam eager to offer help!!!!

They should have a map or more people out back to tell you where stuff is if you have to drive up. Spent a lot of time walking/driving around to find my stuff.

The staff at the Peoria Store is often discourteous and rude to me. They often go out of the not to help me. Recently a cashier, named Kaylee could tell the difference between a 2x4 and a sheet of plywood, when I asked to speak to a manager, they refused.

Let me tell you about my terrible experience with Menards the past two days. First, I do research online for a lawnmower that I would like to purchase. There is only one left in stock in my area about 20 minutes away. I drive to purchase this lawnmower and it is nowhere to be found in the store. Essentially, Menards lost the inventory or sold it under the wrong sku. I then settle for purchasing a similar model, take it home, put it together, and it will not start. I had three other people look at the mower and none of us could get it to start. The next morning, I take apart the lawnmower to return and squeeze it into my car. I then carry it in to return in three loads. Not one person asked me if I needed help, but I was approached for not wearing a face mask and told I could purchase one or leave. The state mandate for facemasks being worn in public had not taken affect, which I made sure to vocalize to the employee and she allowed me to return my item. I wait in line, and when it is my turn the same employee that watched me make three trips to my car to carry in this lawnmower told me that I was not able to return it. She then gave me a paper of two places I could get it serviced. I said I am not going to pay to get a lawnmower serviced that I just bought yesterday. She made sure to tell me in an unprofessional tone that I didnt say you had to pay for it. I go to call the number that serviced the mower closest to me and half the number was not readable (which was typed and then scribbled through on every paper) & the address printed was incorrect. I then have to load up this broken mower again, take it to the repair place, fill out a claim, upload my Menards receipt, and hope that they will be able to fix it. I think it is absolutely absurd that I cannot get a refund for something I purchased the day before that doesnt work. Also, that I have to go through the trouble to take it to be repaired. Why would I want something new that needs fixed?

Are rude and obnoxious now. Kicked my wife and 10 month old out for not having a mask. I have shopped at menards for years nearly exclusively. Lowes here I come. Where people are still allowed to make their own decisions without being harassed and treated like garbage.

Purchased a log splitter that was defective with a check. Went to return the defective piece of junk now they tell me I have to wait 7 days to refund my money. This is how the 800 pound gorilla stores cheat and bully people. I have purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars from the menard store. This will be the last thing I ever buy. Big menards corporations bully people. They want their money now but tbe consumers have to wait. Blains Farm and Fleet would never treat a customer this way. Buy your equipment from Farm and Fleet dont let the bully menards corporations bully the small guy.

Special ordered a window, supposed to take 2 months due to covid delays.Estimated ship by of 12/22/2020. Supposedly window was shipped to store, and I was not notified. Checked on status on 12/30/2020 and guess what?They had given my window to someone else.

Does not take note to people who have breathing problems to be able to enter store without mask on

This place is HUGE so if walking is not a problem for you, this is the place to find stuff!! Lots of emoyees, who are easy to spot in the blue vests, and are great to lead you to the right aisle, etc.

I called into ask someone about storm windows and, after being put on hold for about 10 minutes, the person I finally got to talk to literally hung up after about 2 minutes. Just amazingly poor customer service -- there must be no accountability for that sort of thing at the store.

It was very good. They took awhile to help me. There wasnt alot of staff at the back to order roofing materials. But when they got to me it was great. The negative experience I had was there was no one to tell me where to go to get my roofing material. It was alittle frustrating finding my material and loading it by myself. But other then that it was a positive experience

20+ people standing in line for 3 registers... This may not be normal, but waiting in line for nearly 5 minutes to buy 4 boxes is a bit crazy.

General manager has little respect for employees and their property, regular staff is amazing, but the management is poor for their immaturity. When shopping at menards, make sure you thank the employees that assist you.

I love Menards for most part. All stores have good & bad, but lately the bad seems to be overtaking good. Last few visits have been not the best. Last week needed stock sheet metal siding but was told didnt have any. Could special order but 10-14 days to get it. We went out to outdoor sheds where we knew it was & took pic of item # & went back & placed order from different person. Go to pay & get receipt & cashier just walks off & starts talking with other front end staff! Only words she spoke were about using Menards card. 2 wks ago we were back in building materials & saw a couple of younger employees getting a little to physical back by the special order area. They knew we saw them as cooled down. There was a mom & her 2 kids who couldve seen it if they had turned around. Ive been very disappointed in Menards lately. Sorry but need to get back to good customer service.

Price & selection was what we all have come to expect. However, in the middle of the Corvid 19 situation I was surprised to see many of the Male employees either wearing their mask under their nose, lifting their mask off their face to talk with customers or their masks were all the way down under their chin all together.

This is my go to store for anything I need for my workshop, projects and even some grocery items.

It was my first time at Menards in Peoria out by Allen Road and the prices was a great deal for what I bought thank you Menard and get my yard. Done good five bags of mulch 5 for $10 real good price.

Bought coffee kcup for kerig coffee pot but they only had 1 box of 80 count left and that was decaff. Young lady said they werent getting any more in.

Sales associate wonderful, delivery was a joke.

The HIGHLIGHT of our “Trip to Peoria”! Weather needing anything or not we stop at MENARDS. Now a-Days that’s the ONLY way I can get my Wife EXCITED! We chase each other through the store for several hours, FINALLY catching up with each other somewhere around the Patio Furniture.That time spent is nearly as good as our younger days. (If you get my drift)!

Love the store, but seriously, can Menards have a different sale then the always usual 11% off? I mean it seems like when they have a sale in every weeks circular its not 10, 15, or 20% off....nope its ALWAYS 11%. I would like to see Menards switch it up more, that would be exciting for once.
