Jamie, the Print Music Manager, was extremely patient with my many questions, calls, and orders. I appreciated his excellent communication and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure I had the music in time.

Offered me a lot of helpful information on an old instrument of mine, and went to extra work to fix the broken string when they noticed a little manufacturing problem that made it harder to change the string at no extra cost. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Well-priced products, as well.

Very helpful and informative on which brand to purchase, pinpointing the specific differences, and most impressed by the fact that commission wasnt a factor to the salesman. It was more important what was best for a beginner. We were allowed to play the different instruments and brands, as well. A great music store to visit!!! We will definitely be back! 💯

My son had the chance to be the manager of this store in a Peoria a few years back. It was such a great experience. We were given the grand tour and even took some wonderful pictures. The staff was very welcoming and I even found some sheet music for an audition for a reasonable price. They even offer voice lessons. I hope to stop by again soon.

We love Kidder. We bought our daughters flute from here recently and they were super helpful and patient with my 13 year old. It was a big decision for her. We also started weekly lessons and are very pleased with the facility. My daughter loves her teacher.

Every time I come in they are super nice. When my child broke his trombone they fixed it quickly and for the amount quoted. Then when he broke it a second time they said it was under the warranty when it was two days past warranty and fixed it for free. There’s service has been outstanding every time I come in

My son was having trouble getting sound out of his clarinet at school so I brought it in to Kidder who took it in the back room while I waited, fixed it up for me, and played it right there. Took 10 minutes tops. AWESOME! I walked out without owing anything because this service is included in their rent to own program. And my son didnt have to go to band that day without his instrument like I thought he might have to due to waiting for repairs. That is what I call amazing customer service! I appreciate them so much!! Friendly, knowlegeable, efficient!!

Kidder music is the only place to get the best quality band instruments. Great customer service and knowledge. Dont fall for the poor quality junk you can buy off the internet. These poor quality instruments usually arrive broken and then cannot be fixed due to cheap materials and bad workmanship. Kidders instruments play well and make for a successful experience.

I was disappointed when I get a call from a collection agency out of the blue today because apparently kidder decided they no longer wanted to be responsible for my loan payment for two instruments. I am a traveling nurse and back in November our mail had issues when being forwarded and while it took me a little time to sort that all out I did and I paid any late fees due and everything. Since January I was all squared away and had been mailing my monthly payment on time without any issue. I even sent a note to them explaining the issue and giving them my updated address. I think it is pretty pathetic that they tried to send me to collections for something that was not only a small amount but something I was not even delinquent on. The collector said they had received my last payment of $125 for April and my payments for the previous months but when they asked Kidder if they wanted to proceed with the collections they said they did because they no longer wanted to be responsible for the collection of the monthly payments. Luckily I have a good paying job and was able to pay off the remaining $750 I owed on the spot. I am actually on my way back to Illinois for my next travel assignment and my wife and I were planning on coming in to buy a saxophone for her. After this, however, we will not be doing anymore business with Kidder. I have been a customer with them for years and just am in awe that this even happened. Oh well, there are other music shops out there. I would not recommend Kidder for loan payments for your instruments. Maybe renting would be safe but I would not even trust it then. I never received any form of contact about any issues or concerns they had and I know they had received my updated contact information. This was just poor business on their part.
