Ritchie brothers auctioneers are all over the US. I have been to several of them here in Ca., and Nevada.If you are dropping off, it goes pretty fast after you check in, they tell you at checkin where to drop and you are done.If you are picking up it takes time so be patient. After checkin at entrance, you drive over to main office ( make sure you have all the paperwork, including payment), and wait in line for them to process the change of ownership and DMV.When you are done with paperwork you drive back to the entrance checkin, they check and tell you where to find your equipment.You then find your equipment, load, chain up and drive back to entrance check out.All employees I have contacted have been very helpful. They do have loading docks.

Probably the worst customer experience I have had in a very long time. I gave them two stars rather than one because at least they sold the items. But with fees and percentages (that the sales rep never told me about when he contacted me by phone) they took half of the proceeds of the auction. The buyer and sellers better read the contract very closely and not listen to what the sales rep tells you (mine was no longer with the company when I contacted them shortly after the auction). There were many hidden fees in the small type that I was never informed of until settlement came and my jaw dropped. Ritchie Brothers charged me for a battery to replace the brand new one I put in the day before I drove the truck to the auction. They verbally promised to add detail to the posting in the auction book to help fetch a higher price. Those things never were incorporated. It took hours in line to drop off the items for sale because of lack of training and oversight to their employees at the gate (are they all temps hired just for auction days?). You should also be aware that they charge the buyer and the seller registration fees...because they can...not because they should. Don’t bother waiting for a return phone call to answers to your questions as to their charges. It is probably best to leave this place for the biggest companies just dumping their stuff. It is not for small companies where time and money are meaningful to you.

These folks are an absolute joke, they back out of the financing they approve through their own website... and call it your fault because they failed to disclose all info. Lee is quite possibly the dumbest account manager there. After dozens of transactions buying and selling, paying them multiple thousands of dollars in commissions hell lose a years long relationship because of THEIR incompetence. Oh well, I guess a different auction house can start taking my buyers and sellers fees.... wont be recommending them to anyone. Ever.

PLEASE EVERYONE BE AWARE!!!!!!! before you purchase a truck from this location. I purchase 4 trucks, 1 of them was stated that it could not be register in CALIFORNIA because the truck has a reefer. I solved the issue with the air resources board. once it got cleared and I went to the DMV and it came out that I needed to pay 3,500 for FEES that was NEVER EVER mentioned on the auction website or when I went to go pick up the trucks. I formally spoke with Rachel Miller, and she just kept denying that she DID say that it had fees. IF she really did tell me that it had fees, do you think that i would of taken the truck? hell NO! i would of just left it there!!! I DONT RECOMMEND them, they are so unprofessional.

Ive been buying and selling with RB for 20 years, have had some good and some bad experiences. My last purchase was the worst. The title clerk (Rachel) didnt answer the phone, didnt return messages or emails. This auction was 12/13, so we had to deal with the holidays, which of course she left early the day before Christmas and New Years and had the nerve to charge interest for the late pick up including those days. I disputed it, and got 5 days reversed. I am very disappointed that she would overcharge on interest and actually argued about it.Her lack of attention to her job was a big part of the delay. And in the end she still didnt call or email when the wire was received. I had to call the accounting office in Nebraska, and was told that it had been received on 12/31 at 11 AM eastern, which is 8 am pacific. But still no communication from Rachel. Just now got my trailer picked up 1/2/20. With all the fees they charge, I expect better service.

A lot of Junk Equipment.They stopped selling a good Equipment.Bought a couple times and had issues with forklifts and scissor lifts. Most of the stuff very rusty and in a bad shape or they will cover it with paint and will try to get top dollar to sell you a junk in a beautiful shape.

This company is a scam, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Never again will I buy equipment from this company after I bought a kubota I showed up to pick it up and they no longer had it I still haven’t received my money back nor have they located the kubota I originally bought there is someone within the company that steals equipment this is not the first time something like this has happened I had bought a car before when I had first taken a look at it the car had mats and when I picked the car up the mats were missing I believe their own employees ara taking these things and making their own sales. I do not recommend this company to anybody

Bought a truck the listing stated it had a Caterpillar 3126. In fact the has has a Caterpillar 3116Listing infomation needs to be correct I purchased this truck at the online auction and i trusted that Richie Bros verified the info.Buying experience was very easy good front of house service.

Be careful when you purchase items. What is listed for sale (e.g. 5 items, 10 items etc) is not what you get. To get a refund is a problem too. Still waiting. Promised me a refund on a certain day, still waiting. Be careful!

SELLERS BEWARE!! Took my truck to get auctioned here & day of auction went online to view my truck & it had been removed from site. Never was contacted about them pulling my truck out of the auction. Went to go pick up my truck a few days later & they would not release it or my title until I paid for supposed repairs, no repairs were done & nothing had been authorized by me! Completely illegal. Picked up truck once I paid for nothing & inside was completely tore up, they didnt even put my truck back together!

Buyer Beware. This is the best place for consignors to get rid of their tired worn out junk to sell to unsuspected buyers looking for equipment on line. Better pay someone to physically to go to the location and do an inspection on equipment the before you hit that enter key.

There is a double standard with this company, If I bid and win an item I am obligated to follow through with the purchase,I placed a bid on a truck and during the auction Richie bros changed the item to parts dealer only, well I am an out of state buyer and therefor I can still buy a parts truck if I am taking it out of California. Richie Bros canceled my pre bid and sold the truck to another buyer with out honoring my bid which was double the selling price. I had a winning bid on a item and they sold my truck to another buyer.This is the third mistake made by RB in Perris, First was they had the wrong listing information on a truck I purchased second was they mailed my title to the wrong address took 4 weeks and an extra $250 for me to get the title and now they sold the truck I had a winning bid on to another buyer.I will be filling complaints with the State of California.

Forget about doing anything for the day if you need the forklift. There is only one fork lift and he takes 2-3 hours just to wait for him.

Extremely rude, drove all the way from vegas early to beat traffic, took them 5 HOURS to get a forklift to us!!! On top of that our item was not prepped for shipping like it was supposed to be, then the manager laughed in our faces when we complained. Terrible!

Commissions are way to high They keep raising them & people are dumb enough to pay it. At some point people will get tired of it & stop going. Myself, I stopped selling there a long time ago just because of the high fees. As for customer service its great.

Richie Bros is a scam, they robbed me, they gave me the wrong equipment, and now they pretend i pay it, how Im going to pay their mistakes, I dont understand why the government allows this company ... they havent given me my title, they not gave me the keys to the trucks, they stole my rugs, the one who does bad things, badly goes for life, justice will come for them because the people who buy them are honest people, that persons doesnt deserve a bad deal.
