Pleasantly surprised with the results. I went for the one step urethane and integrated clear coat in one which was the middle of the road paint job. Came out very glossy and you can see the pearl specs. I was expecting it to come out much more flat and dull for the price point. Everyone I dealt with at the Perth Amboy location was very friendly and professional. It did take a few more days for them to finish than I was originally told but for me this was not a big deal since the car was not my daily driver. It is now :)

They told me my parts would be in in a few days. Boy we’re they wrong. They came in the next day and did the work the day after. I always use them for all of my auto body needs and they have never let me down. I will recommend them to anyone I know!

Ive been going to maaco for years. They have worked and painted 3 of my cars and its always what i expect or better. Melissa at the maaco in woodbridge/perth amboy was super helpful and she made me comfortable with what they were going to do. The job was exceptional and I loved it like I always have. Highly recommended for anyone who needs body work or paint done on their car.

I have been using Maaco for some years now. A friend of mine owned the Maaco and I used his services regularly until he permanently shut down the business. I searched for another location and came across this one. The experience was very positive. The manager, Raph runs a tight ship. He was very friendly and the work looks great. We took our 2013 Chevy Tahoe to get a new paint jobWhen received 5 days later the truck had the same lines that were visible in the sun.... Called the shop and they told us to take truck back so we did another week later we picked it up again & when it was picked up it was raining so of course the truck looked great with the new black paint job that was supposedly redone.... Next day sun was out and once again the lines that we took it for to get paint job for are still visible..... We called again & were told to take truck back but we are done with this place....

I would highly recommend this place. My car’s front bumper, headlights and fender was damaged real bad and Raphael was the person to fix it. He gave me a good value and my car was fixed in time and provided me with a good service.

I bring my car to start getting the work it badly needs. There costs were very fair. The agents were very honest and knowledgeable. I only have pics after I was hit. I dont mind posting before and after. On star ratings. I think its fair to only rate on there experience, there prices for now until my car is finished.

I am absolutely furious with this establishment. I brought my other car here without fail many years ago this is why I was a returned customer. However, recently I was involved in a hit an run in which my passenger side mirror was broken. This particular mirror has a camera attached to it. I received a quote from Maaco and proceeded. This is where they deceived me. They replaced the mirror, however the failed to tell me they did not have the “equipment” to calibrate my camera. When I picked up the car they advised me to go toHonda to have them calibrate it! Honda charges a minimal of 300 dollars to calibrate mirrors. As Maaco promote themselves as professional- why would they fail to give me this information. I do not feel I should pay the full amount considering half of the work was done. This is the Perth Amboy, NJ location.

My experiences with Raphael was phenomenal he was so accommodating with the time and the price Im so please with the work especially the price lol. Explain everything to me step-by-step And even though I didnt understand much about cars and the body work that my car needed he made sure that I left there comfortably and that I understood before I lefted. My mechanics recommended this place to me. But I went to other body shop to estimate cost first, then came to Maaco. I found out this shops estimate is almost half price of the others. I also saw they have lots of business. So I decide to use this Maaco. In 2 days they finished the repair which the other shop needs 6 days. The job is well done. I am very happy.

Im happy with the repairs done on my vehicle, Marco did a great Job. However, the per sonat the front desk, Rafael, was extremely rude. He has zero customer service skills. He never offered us to take a seat, he didnt e ven acknowledge our presence...another worker had to point out that we had waited a while. He made rude comments about other workers, and when i expressed how concerned we were about being carless for a few days, he said that wasnt his problem. He has ver y unprofessional to say the least.

Do not bring your car to this location for any work.This place is a complete scam. First they got the check from insurance company with my name on it and they deposit without my endorsement or any authorization from me .. They promise me to finish the car work in 3 days..They took 10 days to finish the work..finally I went to pick up my car but they had a another dent on bonnet which has nothing to do with an original work..They cause that dent while they were fixing my car first they denied but when I showed them pictures they agreed to fix it..lierrrrsss..They took another 3 days to fix that.I got my car after 14 days..work is terrible there are still spots on front bumper and headlight.. no cleaning .They are liers,unprofessional and rude specially Muhammad Kasihf and Muhammad Ehtisham (Owner) They are so cheap they even took coins from my console..NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE AND NEVER PAY BEFORE YOU SEE THE WORK...0 star

This shop is no good and we need to remove them from our network asap. Here were my issues:- They tried to scam bodywork that had nothing to do with the repair / accident my car was in for- They over charged our insurance company for the work they did- They stole all the quarters out of my console.Based on this I feel sorry for the people who end up at this shop,, they are scam artists and theives!!

There was a scratch on the liftgate of my CX-5 that I wanted to repair before my lease ended.Maaco did a great job for a very reasonable price. They also finished the job faster than the estimated timeframe. Would definitely recommend.

Worst place do to fix your car rude as Rafael is the worst person there rude not professional from the beginning I knew it was a bad sign with his nasty attitude I will report this place for sure not to mention when we where there all he did is talk shot bout his coworkers

They were very prompt and they matched the paint very well.

First of all, the positive reviews are usually short. But the negatives are extremely long and once you read them you can read thru the lines. I had a good experience not perfect but the price was extremely good. Like the one comment half the price of the competitors. I will always use them and hopefully all the other Maacos are the same. I was promised a certain time but they really accommodated my time.They were great with following up and you have to understand that a busy shop is going to have some time restrains but the overall experience was good.

I had a simple task needed to be painted by Maaco. There were three parts that I mistakenly damaged while reassembling my classic car. Each part had scratches / dings / existing paint that needed to be corrected prior to painting.They did match the color fairly close to the original color (most shops blend their own paints) but what they botched several times is whats disappointing.There were visually obvious runs from the lacquer or clear coat that I had to tell them to fix. At first I thought meeeh its ok everyone makes mistakes. This turned into several more mistakes. They either didnt clear correctly, buff out the original problem correctly, etc. It was a real pain!In the end I had to return to their shop 5 times to paint a gas lid cover (roughly 6 x 8), a lower valance, and upper cowl for my classic car.I dealt mostly with Rafael. He does not review his work or his workers work. What should have been a simple job turned into a waste of resources.Be prepared for his excuses, delays, and to chase him down to return your calls.

Do not bring your car to this location for paint service! This place is a complete scam. If it were possible to give 0 stars I would. Took our vehicle here for a full paint service, was talked into replacing 2 rusted doors only to have a rusted door put back on, not to mention the paint job had to be done twice because the first time was so terribly incomplete. The second time took over 2 weeks! Our vehicle currently has bubbles/rusting due to the bad job done AND instead of making it right and providing the services that have already been paid for, Rafael seems to think they can charge us for labor, to fix their bad paint job & rusted door that was supposed to be done initially. I think not. I will advise every single person I know and/or encounter that MAACO Perth Amboy is only out for your money, no quality work will be done here!

Yes they are the cheapest collision repair shop, but their work sucks i had my truck done there after it was hit, i asked them to remove the dent and paint the area, which they did but they also painted other areas of the truck i hadnt asked them to paint. At the time i didnt mind until a month or two later when i noticed the paint started to chip in those areas and was getting worse every time i washed the truck and waxed it which is something i dont pretty frequently. I got the work done back in November 2015 and its now May 2016 and the truck is still peeling and is getting worse, it starts to bubble then once i go for a drive the wind catches it and the paint comes right off. This is why i do not recommend anybody getting work done from Macco.

I went to get some advice and a price quote to paint my car so when I walked in there was 2 gentleman sitting at desks inside one of them had a customer the other did not neither one of them said anything to me I stood there 5 minutes till finally a young lady came up and asked me why I was there I said I wanted a price quote on painting my car so she sent me to the gentleman sitting at the desk who stared at me for 5 minutes and did nothing we went outside looked at my car I asked him his advice he said it would cost me 1600 dollars the most expensive package they have he did not say anything else or why nothing I felt like I interrupted his day this salesman lost my business I would not recommend this place at all based on the personality of this salesman they have no interest in your needs only interested in making the most money they can

Avoid this place! They fixed and painted hood and bumper for my car, it took two weeks, than I went there car looked terrible, they agreed to repainted it! the second time they said they dont want to talk and just take your car. I paid and took car to another shop, now I have to repaint fenders cause this i..ts sprayed them. They cant paint normal avoid this place!
