I used to stop in here all the time when it was Scottys. This was my first trip today and I will never return. The 2 young people working were less than helpful and the young man was just plain rude. Such a bummer when it had such a great reputation

Place has everything except knowledge on where to go fishing, I say this cause it’s my first time in Petaluma and I wanted to try fishing, I bought $18 of worms and asked where a good spot to go is, she sent me to this pond at some park I paid $7 bucks to park, 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to find a pond that barely had water in it, if you’re selling bait and tackle, I would think you would know where and where not to go fishing. I was a bit ticked off, on that note I give it a 1 star, as for having supplies, I would give it a five. Also anything I asked her she would reply with sarcasm, I laughed it off at first, but then it got annoying. Oh well, u live and u learn. I just wanted to find a nice place to fish and phone service was bad out there so google maps didn’t help much.

Incredible selection for the size of the shop, and they open at 5am. Good bait selection as well.

Pretty good selection of stuff. Needed trout bait and they had it. Guy behind counter wasnt all that nice, hence the 4 stars.

Ever since they got new owners, things changed. Service is not as friendly. When I pulled into to park early one day, the owner had the nerve to stare me down for some reason until he realized I came to shop with him.If you want unfriendly service, then come here.

Gave me all the details on what rig to use to target the fish i was after on the coast. Also updated me on the stripper bite in the slough. We are lucky to have a local tackle shop run knowledgeable local anglers. My easy choice

Bodega Tackle has just what you wanted or forgot, to have a successful & productive adventure. Tackle & Equipment selection is excellent and they have great bait and friendly service.
