Delicious egg sandwiches! I came here for breakfast and got the GOAT with a small cup of coffee. The Everything Bagel was perfect, soft on the inside with a bit of crunch on the outside. Great balance of eggs and goat cheese. Friendly and fast service and simple decor. Highly recommend!

Great coffee. Meh bagel. The everything barely had seasoning on it. Bagel was crumby not chewy with a crust similar to bread.

First tome visiting this place for breakfast the service was great from the time I walked in. I had to park in a non parking spot 😩. So once I placed my order I went out to my car to wait Casey was so nice to bring me my food to my car and with a smile I appreciate great customer service. Think I found my new breakfast spot!

The bagel spreads are delicious and so creative! I come here once a week for the veggie delight schmear and iced coffee, the ingredients are so fresh I love it. Would definitely recommend trying!

Ive been going to Schmear It since it was just a food truck, and I am so happy that they have a store front now, too! I think they are a great, thoughtful business and the people who run it could not be any nicer. From the causes and organizations they support to the different dietary restrictions they are careful to accommodate, make them very different from other food places. Not to mention, the food is delicious! The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Ive never been disappointed from anything that Ive eaten here. I would recommend Schmear It to anyone looking for a delicious, quick breakfast at a great price point and anyone who wants to support a local business.

Schmear It is one of my favorite spots for a quick breakfast. Even close to closing they have a nice selection of bagels, their staff are always polite, and the food is quickly prepared and well priced.

Bagels are decent. They load them pretty heavily with cream cheese! Id request less if you want a more manageable meal. Interesting variety of flavours and combinations though

The nice people at Schmear It (truck) made me a gluten-free and dairy-free Caprese bagel and it was awesome. Fresh basil, diced tomatoes, and vegan cream cheese on an everything bagel for $5. Highly recommend Schmear if you love bagels, or you need a gluten and dairy-free breakfast option that isnt fruit.. Thanks!

Great customer service. Bagels and sandwhiches are tasty. Im not a huge fan of having a mixed cream cheese salmon bagel and calling it a lox sandwhich. However, it was tasty enough. Clean place.

Had a bagel lunch for a meeting delivered by Schmear It. The food was great but more importantly they were a pleasure to work with. They called after I placed my order to talk with me about options for spreads, delivered on time, and were generally both very nice and helpful.

Their truck had been parked in front of the Drexel Law school, this is where my addiction began. Everything bagel w/tuna and maybe some scallions or jalapenos. NEVER, EVER a bad sandwich. The guys are always in a great mood. Especially the Ravens( I think) fan.

Great business run by great guys. Make the experience personal and enjoyable, really seem to care about the customers, and have a large selection of toppings and spreads you can customize on a variety of different bagels! Great for breakfast or lunch, have savory and sweet options.

The bagels are fresh with a good variety. I dont get the sexy cream cheese I stick with butter

Very nice place, good and efficient service. The schmear I had, lox with white fish added and some veggies chopped in as well, was excellent and generously spread. The bagel, on the other hand, somewhat disappointing: small, ok texture, sparingly sprinkled with poppy seeds.

Nice & helpful employees. Nice place. The bagels (5 different kinds) were rather bland, and heavy enough they didnt toast all the way through. Would say dont eat the bagels with just butter, certainly dont eat them without being toasted, and better yet, dont get them at all.

The employees are super nice, and the bagels are delicious. I got The Mexican (jalapeños, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, cheddar, and egg) on an everything bagel - it was great! They also carry Rival Bros coffee, which never disappoints.

Nice place, fast service. Although it wasnt my favorite bagel place. I could reccomend to make them more softer and the mix on the bagel less...mixed (?). It was my first time and I didnt know how it worked and the girl attending me wasnt too patient...

Im not even a bagel fan, but I like these. Even better are the spreads. Love their tuna salad for lunch.

Best. Bagels. Ever!I walked by Schmear It truck almost every day for a couple years, and only found the storefront about a year ago, and my weekends have been transformed since! We have made it a tradition to get breakfast at Schmear It once a month, and any time we have guests.I have tried a lot of their egg sandwiches and have settled on the Mexican Egg Sandwich with Jalapeno Schmear and hash. Best enjoyed in the store, but they travel well for at least 30 minutes. The coffee is not quite to my liking, but they dont mind if I get coffee from Dunkin next door and bring it in (I drink coffee for the milk and sugar... so you may very well love the coffee at Schmear It).The store has more menu options than the truck, the truck doesnt serve any egg sandwiches. The truck is also very good, and you can try it out at 38th and Locust.Highly recommend Schmear It if you are in University City. We have shared our love of this place with at least a dozen different people, and so far everyone has loved this place just as much as we do!

I was looking for some place near UPenn to have a coffee and a cream cheese bagel. Found Schmear It and it totally satisfied me. The coffee was very good and the bagel NY-styled as I like it.

Refused to sell me 6 bagel sandwiches an hour before closing because they only had around 12 bagels left and did not want to sell 6 items to one person and potentially sell out. 6 items for six different first time customers. Not going back. I went to spread bagelry on 20th and spruce instead. Had an hour wait but they didnt refuse service because they had a low bagel inventory.
