The entire team at Chapman Chevrolet is above and beyond exceptional. Allie, Dan, Tony, Nasir and the entire team were absolutely great to work with. I live just shy of 60 miles away from the Chapman Chevrolet dealership. They appraised my trade in over the phone via video call and gave me an offer. The team worked with what I wanted and was very down to earth. The financing was all approved remotely along with the Insurance and the Registration.I got off of work and road to the dealership. The vehicle was sitting there waiting for me and within minutes of parking I was testing it. After the test drive, I was in the financing office for about 10 minutes then done. Transfer personal belongs over and went over a few items on the vehicle and was on my way home again.They took care of the majority of the work remotely and I was in and out in 30 minutes. Would gladly go back again for the next vehicle purchase. I dare say, it was the best vehicle purchasing process I have ever had.

Chapman Chevy has looked after my car for the last year and I have no complaints. I like the videos you receive of what needs to be done and checklist of various vehicle maintenance status you receive. Usually you get your vehicle back the same day or within a few days for major work. Staff care about ensuring you are taken care of and have a positive experience.

Care team member not organized. Poor communication and argumentative. Car dropped off at 8:40 am called at 3:09 pmteam member indicated car was ready but needed to finish paperwork. Called back at3:47 pm still working on paperwork. Requestedthey send a lyft . Arrived approximately at 4pmpaperwork not complete nor could be found.Told member there performance was not acceptable.We were in a heated discussion, they followed me to cashier booth and continued discussion.I paid and left premises.Have received great service from this dealership for over 10 years. Have been Chevrolet owner since 1975 and never had a problem.

Dealt with Hannah who was very easy to work with and had answers to every question I had. She was awesome to deal with. No pressure from her at all.Also dealt with the sales manager Dan who was on point as well.They both guaranteed the vehicle I chose would be delivered to the dealership by a certain date and sure enough it was.Picked up my truck and all the paperwork was ready which made it a breeze. My experience was horrible. I came in for a 9:20AM appointment to get my oil changed and tire rotation. I sat in the waiting area until 12pm before asking for a status update on my 2019 Chevy Traverse. The woman at the desk informed me that they was about to service my vehicle now. At 1:04pm I got up to take a walk around. When walking around the lot I noticed my vehicle still sitting in the lot. I went back to the desk to ask the woman if they completed the servicing of my vehicle because its sitting in the lot. She went to the back to finally inform me that my Chevy Traverse wasnt taken back yet. Thats totally unacceptable 😑 Ill never come back to that dealership

I drove from out of state a few miles to purchase my car. When I called ahead they took care of everything possible before I even arrived at the dealership. Everyone from the front desk, to sales, to finance was very friendly, and helpful. All said and done it was by far the fastest and easiest buying experience I’ve ever had. The worst experience I ever had to deal with. Theyre customer service is horrible, rude... I went in for a diagnostic test, I made an appointment came in on time, just for them to tell me I have to wait two whole extra day just for them to run the test... After all that they called me to inform I needed a timing chains... I asked them how much will it be to replace the chain they talking 2141 just ripp off ... When on theyre store website for a timing chain it only 89 dollar.... Theyre not for the people theyre for the compan.... Dont go to them

This Chapman is a rip off! I sent my car in for service a month ago for a issue that was confirmed by another mechanic but felt the “dealer” would be more fit for service. They agreed that was the issue, yet put a completely different part on the vehicle. Never sent photos or videos as promised to confirm the problem and labor that was done yet charged $1200. Car still had the issue pulling off the lot from Chapman! It has been back and forth numerous times and the issue is still not fixed. No option of partial refund or correct diagnosis. On top of that, now calls/emails are being completely ignored. They don’t care about actually fixing the problem. If a customer is willing to pay to have service done, at least try to fix the issue or point them in the direction of someone who I can. Now I have to find another mechanic who will properly fix the issue and endure the cost once again. Please beware taking your car here!

Although I set two appointments at Chapman for my two commercial Chevy Trax vehicles to repair 2 flat tires, the vehicles were held and not ready until two days later. I had to call twice to receive service status updates and also ask for the service total. On day two, I came onto the lot just to see if my vehicles were being serviced yet and located one of the vehicles unattended on the lot with the keys on the dash and windows down. When I came on day three to pick up the completed vehicles, Devon lost the key to one of the vehicles and no one printed out the paperwork to send to the cashier. I arrived at the dealership at 8:00am Wednesday and had to wait for the missing cashier to arrive to work around 9:00am while Devon and other staff hunted for my missing key faub. Supposedly, no one else was able to cash me out other than the missing cashier. This was my 2nd and last visit to Chapman Chevy. I had to wait for a missing cashier the very 1st time I visited and thought it was an anomaly but apparently this dealership does not value customer service.

I came in to purchase a vehicle. They took all of my information and asked if I wanted to purchase the car. I explained that I had not viewed the car and would like to see it before making the purchase. At the time it was raining. I was then told I could view the vehicle after the rain subsided. I was told to have a seat and once the rain cleared I would be taken outside to the vehicle to view it. I waited approximately 25 minutes when I notice the truck I was patiently waiting to view was being pulled into the car port area. A couple that came in after me was waiting at the carport and began viewing the vehicle. I immediately went to whom I was told was the general manager to ask why I am waiting over a half an hour to view the same vehicle they just pulled in for this other couple. I asked why they were extended a courtesy I was not. They gave several explanations that did not make sense. First he said the couple had an appointment. I stated they came a half hour after I had been asked to wait. If the vehicle was able to be pulled into the port for them why couldn’t they do the same for me instead of asking me to wait? He then said they were friends of someone in the company. When I said that didn’t really explain the additional entitlement. He then said they could not find me. However, I sat were they asked me to wait and never moved.I cannot help to feel this act was of a discriminatory nature. I wrote a letter to the owner and his response was not apologetic for my experience . He stated he launched an investigation but never even called me as a consumer to inquire about what occurred. In my opinion, his alleged investigation was just to cover up the blatant discrimination that I experienced.

IMy Dad came to get a recalled part replaced. It was in stock and it should have been held for his vehicle. It wasnt, you made me wait a half hour before he was told it wasnt there anymore. Had a scheduled appt for a oil change at 11am get there and they say they dont have me scheduled for appointment for today nothing is in the system. I called twice the day before to make sure it is for Friday the representative said yes we have you all set for Friday 11am. They still took the car anyway for the oil change the rep said it would be about an hour to hour and a half and i said okay no problem, my car was not ready for pickup intill 3:45pm just for a simple oil change never have I been anywhere and it took 5hrs for a oil change its just unbelievable and not to mention I had to keep calling just for a basic update or status this place does not provide good customer service at all and they lost my key on top of it then when we ask to speak with a manager he is also in no rush to help you at all the service really is bad they do NOT ATTEND TO THE CUSTOMER NEEDS AT ALL

I am not from Philadelphia. I took my car to Chapman Chevrolet because the engine overheated while I was in town for the weekend, and I was not able to drive it back home. They charged me nearly $2k in repairs to get the car running again. Within a week, the engine had overheated again, and I had to have my car towed from the side of the road. After this happened, I took the car to my local Chevrolet Dealership. They did not seemed be convinced that the radiator Chapman replaced was the source of my car troubles at all, but it was instead an internal issue relating to the gasket. I was also told that because Chapman left vague notes, it was hard to be certain what actually led them to making the repairs they made. It seems I was taking advantage of because I was a young woman from out of town. I would not recommend this dealership at all.

So I had a appointment for schedule maintenance 52,000+ miles an oil change. It took a little over two hours to complete. They said they where backed up. Ok that’s fine…. I leave the dealer then I go home. The very next morning my check engine lights comes on. Remind you this is the second time. I went to the exact dealer in Philadelphia located on Essington Avenue. Then the next day, check engine lights is on. So I inform Dan my adviser. Of what happened, he says well it must be a new problem. It wasn’t anything they did. If I was they would own up to it. I’m a little skeptical now. This being the second time around. So he continues to tell me. It’s $165 for a diagnostics test. I express my concerns with him again. That I just left that location and. The very next day this happens. So I book a new appointment for 2 days later. I arrive at the dealer. As soon as I walk in. Everyone is to busy to help me. Then one of the advisers ask me. What Was I here for. I tell him a check engine light. I then get told, I have to reschedule my appointment. Because diagnostics is backed up. Remind you, they also texted me a few hours earlier. A video of my service being done. From 2 days ago, stating that’s all the work I had done. It looked to me as a Visual inspection on the video. When I was sent the video. No one said hey sir. We’ll need to reschedule your appointment for today. So I left work early, took the 1hr 20min drive back to the city. Just to be turned away. Still have a check engine light on. Still not sure why. I feel as tho this was terrible service. I can’t for sure say. Anyone at this Chevy dealer. Is the reason my check engine light came on but. What would you think. It being the second time it’s happened. If I could give 0 stars I would

HORRIBLE, the service department had my work van for 2 weeks before they even diagnosed it and we have a carpet cleaning business so unfortunately we lost a good amount of customers. On top of all the stress of being spun in a circle for 2 weeks waiting, they charged me $5,000 to empty the gas tank and the original reason for it being there never got fixed the van is the same as before. such a waste of money!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM they do “all this work” but the vehicle remains the same. $3600 for labor LOL the diagnosis took longer and more work then the repair!WOULD GIVE THE -10 stars if I could

I took my car to get serviced on a Friday which was supposed to be done that monday. Monday came and i was told it wouldnt be ready until Friday and was informed that there were no loaner cars available at all for me for a whole week. I paid a large amount of money for my car to do the exact same thing after almost 24 hours of me getting it back not to mention my keys were loss when i went to go pick my car up.

I brought my 2013 Cruze Eco to Chapman Chevy to investigate why on hot days, the car lacks power when trying accelerate and merge on highways. Engine temperature remains normal. I also requested an oil change.Daniel was polite and accommodating. He assured me that the $169.95 cost for the diagnostic was very thorough and I would receive a video and full printout of findings. I reviewed the online findings when I received the text, and I consented to the coolant system work and the serpentine belt. I gave the approval Friday, early afternoon. Checking back later that day I was told they were awaiting a part that was due Monday. I was not informed prior to giving my consent that the parts were not in and needed to be ordered, so we were without transportation for the entire weekend and several plans had to be cancelled. The car was ready mid-day Monday. I asked about the video and Daniel told me it was never made.Since the battery was under warranty, I took the car to Pep Boys to check the battery, which Chapman Chevy diagnostic apparently showed that it was only half charging. (I did not receive the full $169.95 diagnostic report or video, although I was charged for it.) Pep Boys tested and found it was charging 100%. I asked about the tires, which were also dinged by Chapman as measuring 4. (Again, no printout.) Pep Boys said they measured 6 and 7, probably good for several thousand more miles. I checked the cars oil life and it had not been reset.So now Im wondering: did the technician just forget to reset the oil-life or was the oil actually changed? (The invoice says it was reset.) Was the water pump really leaking? Was the serpentine belt really in need of changing?Can I trust I didnt just throw $2,093.34 away? Overall this was a very unsatisfactory experience. At a minimum, I would like to know if the 169.95 charge will be refunded.Please note: the lag when trying to accelerate and merge on hot days is still very much there.cc: Chevrolet Customer Assistance Center, Philadelphia BBB, and Philadelphia CoC.

I purchased a car from an amazing group of sales professionals inside but baaaaaby was the experience just trying to get something fixed was night and day! Rude as ever, incompetent etc! Then operating over text was not the best. I had Rebecca filling in for Devon and still not much. 4pm rolled around and it they told me they was checking on my car and NEVER replied after that. Meaning they kept my car over night and I had no way to work. I wasnt properly handled to even prepare for this experience. Then because I wasnt service I was trying to get in contact with corporate based of the response via Google they(chapman representative) have been giving out an incorrect number for upset customers!!!!!! Now I took another shot at they actual page and got a rep named Andrea. She is someone to help sale cars. Told her my issue and she didnt have a corporate number. Smh. Now I then say Google give me a corporate number for chevrolet. It gave me options to get the attention one being Twitter! No representative responded to my tweets! 😒Okay so the next day I had my husband call the dealership because Im beyond annoyed and upset. They told him they would call and advise of status. Well they did...and they was about to pull my car in smh for work. FYI I had a inspection of my car at 953am the day before when I dropped it off. Now lets continue on so they call back gave the details to call BACK at 4ish if we havent heard anything back 🙃 😑. Now I call back because the service of communication is HORRIBLE at this point. And I snapped on everyone who took the call until I got my service advisor and he was so pleasant Ha! So once I realized it was him I told him his customer service skills was TERRIBLE and I wasnt happy! I didnt like how I wasnt informed about my car. Well he did ask how he could make it better.Well we discussed that. Which some of it resulted in a discount on my brakes and rotors that apparently wasnt nothing wrong with per the inspection video. Well I decided not to get them done.......went to have my car check else where and honey 😑 my front breaks and rotors have some issues 🙃 😒 however the left is better than the right smh. The right is HORRIBLE looks like rust which is not however it just not what the right look like. Hurt, upset, mad is just to name a few but ill try to deal with them until everything is complete. Hopefully I can change my thoughts as this being my first review.

I couldnt be happier with my experience at Chapman Chevrolet. I drove a 2013 chevy equniox, nicknamed Kelly and I LOVED that car. After getting in an accident and deciding it was time for a newer vehicle, I went to look at the lot. I was on the hunt for another black equinox, just a new model of the car I loved. I got to the dealership early and Lexi greeted me as I was walking through the lot. She was so personable and friendly, and made the car buying experience feel like I was buying a car from a friend I had known for a long time. She was quick to answer my questions, calls and texts, so I could receive the modifications I wanted my car to have. After leaving Chapman that day, I knew that I wanted to purchase my car, Kelly 2.0 from Lexi, despite having 4 chevy dealerships closer to my house. I endlessly appreciate the time, effort and kindness I received in my car buying process.

My experience at your mechanic shop was the worst experience I have ever been in in my life...they asked me for a $5000 down deposit on a $7600 work bill..however, I was called back and was told that they didnt feel comfortable with working on my 2002 Chevy suburban and was asked to come pick my truck up asap.....I went to get my and found out that I had to wait a week to get my deposit back....they was very unprofessional and dont treat customers with respect. I would never go back there nor will I ever referral anyone...

I got there for my 11 appointment for my inspection. The guy I had was very pleasant. However 3 o’clock rolls around I hear nothing. Not a text, not a name call, absolutely nothing. I go to see what’s the hold up and they tell me my car is already done. Very inconvenient with not even an apology when brought to light. They also increased the bill without giving me any notification. I come here very often and I’m very disappointed in the service I received.
