We have been using Oil Patch for many years now. They have always been responsive and helpful in delivery and the times we have needed our furnace primed. They are patient and bend over backwards to help out our 86 years old mom with her deliveries. We are grateful to have a small customer focused company to do business with.

After 35 years with another company they went out of business. As a result I needed to find a new oil company. I searched the internet and found Oil Patch and Im surely glad I did. As stated in other reviews, they are affordable, and specialize in quick delivery service, even on Sundays! Im very pleased with them. Ive used them for a few years now and their service has been consistent. They have no problem with a cash and carry arrangement, do not force you into a contract unless you want one. We are very pleased with them.

I order online and the truck shows up the next day! My tank access is in a difficult place behind my house and under a porch but the Oil Patch associates are always polite, professional and patient. This deliverys young man even trotted back to his truck to retrieve his mask.

A service man who came to my 86 year old mother’s house to prime her furnace told her he “did not wear masks” which put her at risk. She had no heat so was afraid to insist. My mother has COPD and is in the highest risk group for contacting COVID. Shameful conduct by this person, and the company which doesn’t seem to have a protocol in place to ensure its customers are safe.

Oil Patch’s online ordering system was so easy to use. I put my order in as soon as I thought of it which was off hours. My oil was there in no time. Oil Patch charged me only for what I needed (which was less than what I had ordered) and charged my card accordingly. It was so convenient.

We Purchased over $400 in oil. We’ve been customers for over 20 years and this was our first problem with heater not coming on, driver did not ring bell to check heater before filling up an empty tank. Called they came out the next morning and charged us an extra $25 for something they should have done initially for $10. We left our phone number and name with a young man for a call back from a boss, no one ever got back to us. No loyalty after all these years of loyalty to them.

Unfortunately, I always run out of oil & call these guys, usually in the middle of the night when I realize that the house is turning into big meat freezer. I always speak with Zelda. She is so sweet & patient. She probably thinks Im a stalker because I always say Hi Zelda before I beg for an early delivery. Lol The only other person I really speak with, if im home when they deliver, is a really nice young man .I cant remember his name.. a problem I have ...remembering names, but hes a very nice guy. We usually shoot the breeze while he makes the delivery. Very professional, very friendly & polite. He always asks if I need it primed. Ive watched so many times in the past that Ive mastered the art of priming the burner to get it running. Guys in the office are always friendly & they deliver when they say theyre going to deliver. I had a very nasty experience with this oil company after stealing my money I did not get any good service never will 8 recommended this company to anyone very rude customers service and very high prices . Oil Patch is generally good when you run out of oil (and have a normal supplier elsewhere, as I do with The Energy Coop). Ive gotten 2 or 3 deliveries within 24 hours. This time (fortunately just affecting hot water in the summer), it took about 40 hours and a follow-up call. Id still use them in an emergency, but I would have been pretty unhappy if it had been January!

Absolutely Horrendous! After unexpectedly running out of oil on a Sunday during a below freezing cold snap, I was told that I called to late for a Sunday delivery. However, I was assured I would get a delivery Monday morning. I called Monday and they confirmed my delivery was scheduled that day. I called again at noon when no delivery arrived. They informed me they were busy but I would see delivery that day. I called again at 5:00pm. I was told 1 hour. I called again at 6:30 and was told they would get to me. I called again at 8:00pm and was told they could not get to me, delivery would be Tuesday morning. Daytime and night time temps remained below freezing and they were aware that we were out of oil. Had they of told me they could not meet my request I could have gone to another provider. Tuesday morning I call again and was told delivery was scheduled die Wednesday. I pleaded with the operator who told. Ebro call at noon. When I did they said they would get to me today. I called again at 4:30. Still no delivery. They told me they were very busy, and for me to be patient. I told them my neighbors were getting a delivery now from a competitor and asked if I should call that business since it appeared they could not meet the demand. The operator said sure, we really don’t need your business. Wow!!!! Must be a good industry to be in that does not “need” my business...

Last 2 times I ordered oil was late at night and they were there the next day late morning/ early afternoon. Great service!!!

I had been with another oil company, Superior Oil, for years and each of those years I kept wondering why I put up with them. The service was terrible, the attitudes on the phone were worse, and the prices were no bargain at all. If I needed oil quickly, I was always told that it could be 2 or 3 days before they could fulfill my request. Finally, enough was enough. I searched the internet, spoke with several companies and discovered Oil Patch.They were perfect for me. Always friendly, always accommodating and almost always able to get oil to the house within hours of the request. And their prices are excellent! They also hooked me up with a great furnace technician who doesnt charge ridiculous prices for repairs, and knows what hes doing. For the first time in years, Ive been able to relax and enjoy heating my home, and thats all due to Oil Patch!

Just recommended Oil Patch to a friend. I love their service and their promptness. I only use an American Express card, and when my former company told me they no longer accepted it I was crushed. I found Oil Patch and not only do they take my American Express, they have the cheapest prices. I call in the morning and they delivery most times that same day, and leave my receipt in my mailbox. I have #2 American Express cards which they keep on file and I just tell them to split the cost between the two cards. If they cant come that day, they tell me up front and tell me they will be there the next day. They even monitor my usage and tell when I dont need oil. I never let my tank get less that 1/2 empty so they monitor so I dont have too.

I was fortunate to speak with a lovely young lady called Kate.She was very helpful during our transaction. Even when I dropped the call, she called me back and made sure to wait while I got the necessary information I needed to give for the delivery of my oil.Than you very much for your excellent customerservice Kate.

I had oil delivered and attempted to prime oil burner. The temperature plumeted that night. I called oil patch in the middle of the night when I realized how cold the house was getting. The women I spoke to was so nice even though It was 2:45am. She said she would put me in for the next day to prime oil burner. A man called at 8:00am to say he would be there in 15 minutes. He was able to start the oil burner. I was so impressed with this company! They are great to deal with! Highly recommend.

Great customer service, delivery, attention to communication; good pricing relevant to other companies in the area. Were new to the area and new to oil heating. Weve used the company twice now for heating home oil refill. Each time weve called, reps have been respectful, professional, attentive to concerns expressed, knowledgeable as well as honest when things fall outside the scope of what they offer. Ive had to reach a tech and the service Dpt, as promised, had a tech call to answer questions. Oil tank fills were within the time they conveyed. Second fill, the tank was on empty and we called too late for same day (it was after 2pm), however received delivered next day as conveyed. Four star only as they dont have some of the automated systems (would be great if they had monitoring of when oil tank needs fill, auto refill service, discount for auto fill or regular customers).

I ordered oil on a Saturday afternoon they told me that delivery would be Sunday morning. I got a call Sunday morning saying that the delivery man was out front of my house but couldnt make delivery because no one was home to pay. I PAID BY CREDIT CARD THE DAY BEFORE. I explained that I was home and NO CAME TO MY DOOR. Ok hell double back. Two hours later NO OIL. Checked my tank....EMPTY. I called they said CHRIS delivered it already. WHERES MY RECEIPT...ITS NORMALLY PLACED IN THE MAIL SLOT? OH you have a mail slot? Let me check...we couldnt find your house. Well deliver it before 10am tomorrow. TWO DAYS LATER....BUT YOU TOOK MY MONEY RIGHT AWAY.

Oil Patch has been my fuel provider for many years. Their receptionists are efficient and courteous. Service is prompt, same day usually. The drivers are also courteous and helpful, when I ran out of fuel they primed my heater and got me back in business. While I always check competition prices they are alwsys lowest.

Oil Patch saved us from freezing when we first moved into our new house, two years ago. There was no oil, and we called several of the larger companies to try to get a delivery. No dice. They told us it would be 48 to 72 hours before we could get oil. I called Oil Patch, and the driver was there that afternoon. Weve been using them ever since. Their prices are always competitive, and, no matter the weather, they get the delivery to you the day you call.Also, the driver that does our delivery is always super helpful, and Brooke and Katy in the service department are very friendly. They really care about their customers.

So we’ve been customers with Oil Patch for over 10 years . We order oil about four times a year. The oil guy shows up, hooks up his hose to the tank with an adapter that was leaking oil everywhere so he went to use a different adapter, turns the truck on to pump the oil, and the adapter pops off the tank and proceeds to spew oil all over my yard and my boyfriend head to toe, in his mouth and all, who happen to be standing right there at the time. It was an accident, but the supervisor there completely brushed us off, bearly apologized, offered no reimbursement for the oil that never made it into my tank, the yard clean up, or reimbursing me for the shirt pants and shoes that were dowsed with oil and had to be thrown away. Needless to say we will NEVER order oil from this company again and encourage others to think twice before they purchase from this company, who could care less about your business. Working in customer service my whole life I am appalled at the way the situation was handled.

So far, so good! Have only gotten one delivery so far, but no complaints. They showed up when they said they would, delivered oil like they said, and theyre part of the Energy Cooperative.

I dont burn alot of oil, so I dont need a contract. Anyway contracts are a gold mine for the companies. If you want to cancel the contract they charge awful alot hundreds of $$$$$$$.Oil Patch is very good company. They didnt charge me to prime the fuel line when my tank went dry. Purchased oil for my new home alittle after 2. I was told someone would be out between 4 -5. No one called or showed up. Called back around 530pm was told someone would be out soon. Its now 715. Havent heard from anyone. Me and my 8 year old in the cold. This is terrible. I paid for my service. I shouldnt have to keep calling like this.

I gave Oil Patch 3 stars because recently I have been disappointed. I had ran out of oil gave them a call at 12 noon and was told that oil would be delivered later on that day. My son got home at 5:30pm and he advised no oil has been delivered. I called to complain, I was told that everyone was gone for the day and that I was scheduled for the next morning, which wasnt what I was told when I called at noon. but, they made sure they got their money. 2 weeks later I decided to give them another chance, so I called to have oil delivered before the big snow storm hit, I was told that they would be in my area on Thursday, okay fine, but again the oil was not delivered as promised but a day later and again they charged my card on Monday instead of waiting until the oil was delivered. Thats twice . Up until these two incidents Ive never had a problem.

I will never use oil patch again, they had me scheduled for the morning & when they didnt show i called & they told me they would come in the afternoon. so i waited & waited til 8:00 at night & when i called they told me they came but, they didnt knock & admitted to me that they didnt as if im supposed to be outside waiting in the cold. And i know they came cause i found their receipt book outside in the snow. so they promised me that i would be their first delivery the next day. well long story short the next day same thing & i didnt get my oil til the following day, next year i will be using just 4 oil!

Rarely have I ever written a review of any business but I have never dealt with a business that was more deserving. I have also been meaning to write this about a month ago. Just to preface my long winded review, my husband and I purchased a home that supposedly had a full tank of oil which was not true as we discovered the day before a major snowstorm. We relocated our family from San Diego to work at a local hospital and considering that we had zero experience with snow; we were pretty excited. That was until we both received a frantic call from our nanny who said that the house was cold and getting colder.Raced home to a flashing red light and called our realtor, who could have been much more helpful. We called around to find anyone who could deliver to no avail - mostly who basically responded very rudely, good luck. You dont have a contract & they wouldnt be able to for 5 days (at least) It was awful. We called Oil Patch, and I had only wished that I had called them sooner. I got a kind, young woman on the phone who explained that obviously they were extremely busy & that she could not promise anything but to give her our address and phone #. She explained that she would certainly see what they could do. She also gave her word that she would call us regardless.Low and behold, as we were looking to book a hotel (also difficult when every flight was cancelled at PHL) we received a call from OPFC we can do it!) There were no words to express our relief. Or the relief we unanimously felt when they knocked on our door.She explained beforehand that when the tank is completely dry the driver would have to come in to prime the heater and that she would need to 1st pre-authorize our credit card for the delivery. No problem at all. He came about 2 hours later and we felt comfortable with him and his helper in our home. We couldnt thank him enough and he said, No problem. Just thank my niece for calling me. I could have just said that is truly a fantastic company & that every single (actual live and breathing) person that we have dealt with have been nothing but very pleasant and professional, but I had to write the pre-face to explain my positive review.I also feel that it is very important to note that they could have really taken advantage of our desperation, (we would have paid anything) but they chose to take the honest road, and charged us the posted online price, as another reviewer posted there are no games or gimmicks. I called a few days later to speak to a manager by the name of, Bill, to compliment his staff and the sincerity of the price, his response was along the lines of that is how they have always operated from the beginning and how they will always continue to. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.Our 1st family snowstorm turned out to be a lot of fun and we plan to stay with this family owned and operated company for as long as we live in the Philadelphia metro area; theyre that great.

We used Oil Patch for over 20 years due to the fast service, and they allowed us to order, and delivered usually that day,using our bank card, and pay when my check would go in the bank, usually within a couple of days. Plus I was able to pay 1/2 one week and the other 1/2 the following week. We never had a problem doing so, and they never had a problem with us paying in that manner. UNTILL NOW. Apparently they have a new manager who has stopped all that. I had to order 1/2 of what I was going to, and must wait untill the day I asked the money be taken out. This will be my last time dealing with Oil Patch. Very unhappy with thier new manager. Oil Patch, you just lost a long time customer.
