I went in to get just a few things and the prices was reasonable. I enjoy going to this store because its clean and the robot helper is not too bad an idea. The shelves are well stocked by the humans and I think that makes for a great place to shop.

I spent 35 plus dollars on stock that I didnt need at that moment cause I wanted to get the shrimp that was on sale. There was none in stock. The clerk at the seafood counter got a 1 lb bag that was open and offered it to me at a discount price according to the weight. I had it steamed. Went to customer service and ask for a ranchers for the 2 lbs bag. I was told that I cant since I already got a bag. I was upset because I wanted the 2 lbs. She looked over the receipt and said that I cant get more. I should have returned my purchase cause all I needed was the plantains. It is not the stores fault that you have some nuckle heads.UpdatedI should not have lower myself to other people standard. My apologies. I was very upset. I love the store. But, do you understand that hiring the right person for the job is so important. I felt that she should have given me the rain check.

Liked this store, but little bit products out of shelves maybe its because came here late 10 pm. In Central PA we used to see products full of shelves. But store is huge and has almost everything like other Giant stores all over the PA

Giants is one of the better groceries stores around. Somewhat competitive prices but for what they offer its worth the price.Location is great as its located near plenty of places to eat and gym to work out so you can knock out most of to do list in one trip.Store is clean and organized as well as its up to date. Employees are nice and helpful and havent had a problem yet.

Very clean and friendly staff. Youll find some basics are better priced at other stores, but they have such a wide selection of things you dont find at other places that its worth the trip. They also have great freshly prepared food for lunch or a quick dinner when pressed for time, the sushi and wraps are so yummy.

I gave then details of the transaction and ask that Loss Prevention or Sales Audit investigate.Never happened. Sent copies to Store CEO and Credit Card Company.

Wow! What a disappointment - usually get jumbo lump crab cakes - family really likes them. Go to the seafood counter - the price went up and as far as jumbo they were medium at best! Looks like I will be getting my crabcakes somewhere else. 😡

Convenient in every way, great, genuine customer service. I just wish there were more availability of live person cashiers, rather than time-consuming self-checkout service.

Store is well organized and clean thanks to Robbie the robotic cleaner. Aisles are spacious not cramped like some supermarkets. A lot of self check out stations as well as regular check out lanes. The cashiers are always friendly and usually another giant employee will bag your groceries which I find is a plus, I hate bagging my items.

Prices are a little higher then other Grocery stores but I enjoy shopping here. Food is always fresh and aisles well organized. Atmosphere is nice and customer service is great. They always have everything I need. Parking is good and always have shopping carts. I recommend shopping here.

I am a Giants fan and use this chain primarily for my food shopping. Although this particular location has all the Giant brands and specials, it is not as well organized nor easy to go through (e.g., cold/frozen aisles are near main entrance and have to cycle back at the end of shopping, so it doesnt melt by the time you check out), and staff is not as friendly and helpful as other Giants I have shopped at. When I have a choice, I prefer not to shop at this particular location.

Love Giant Food Store, Grant Ave in Philly so clean employees are always friendly. You get more bang for your buck, I heard another one was opening on Cottman and Bustleton Ave where Sears was which is even closer, I cant wait.

Been shopping in this Giant since they opened, always satisfied.Yesterday I went in for a few items and there was a young couple entering just before me. Neither wearing a mask, they seemed very pleased with themselves as they would openly smile at whom ever they passed. I called the store manager when I left the store, but she said there wasnt anything they could do to prevent that. The couple checked out at the self checkout and the woman in charge just lead them to the next register without a word...I will not be shopping in there again..sad how people just do not care about each other.

Love this location. Very close to me and pretty much has most things I need and want to buy. Their produce section could use a face lift. Isles should go length wise towards the Deli department. This way you go towards the inside of the store rather than zigzag through the produce Isles.

I go there to get the sale items. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Always enjoy shopping at Giant. It us clean and bright and staff is very helpful. I look forward to that wall of sales in the produce section. I can never come out of there with just one thing. Theres always a bargain.

Im a pretty simple guy.(not to be confused with a simpleton). Items are always in the same isle,same shelf so I know exactly where I need to go upon entering the store. This makes for quick shopping. Im not one who enjoys spending an hour in a grocery store with a calculator in my hand. Place is clean and there a plenty of helpful employees if you do have a question. Would like to see large frozen scallops in there. Ive only seen tiny scallops. (Dont know the names for them off hand). Anyway, place is perfect for me !

I ordered it online, picked it up, and found that the pork chop smelled bad, organic oranges, a bag of $4.99, there were 6 of them, 3 of them were bad, I contacted the customer service for the first time; then I contacted the customer service manager, On each call, they said that they would refund the money to me. The result was that one week, 10 days, and half a month passed; the money was still not received; the second call, the customer service manager complained to me that these things were 3 weeks ago. Order; I think it’s funny that you haven’t dealt with after-sales, how did it become a customer’s problem? This attitude is perfunctory and will not come here again in the future. Customer service manager, cant solve the problem at all? Very strange, why? There is still a manager in such a big supermarket. It’s really just a name.

They won’t scan a “store card” for you here to get discount prices without having to sign up for a card. It’s absurd.

I purchased 2 lbs. of Boars Head lunch meats. I was totally shocked that both meats only lasted 2 days before needing to be discarded. The meat wasnt fresh. Perhaps less people needing to pack lunch has caused less turnaround. That was $36 down the drain. Watch your purchases people. Everything isnt flying off the shelves.

Giant always has what Im looking for, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the prices on every day items are competitive with other markets in the area. You can shop online and they will bring your order out to your car.

Place has gone down hill. Shelves empty, no product/brand consistancy. Arm & Leg to get any help. Switched from Acme to Giant for same problem. Going to have look elsewhere for my groceries. Such a shame, and you cant blame this on Covid.

I love Giant! Especially this one (well it is the only one in the city 😑). There produce is always fresh and way better than Shoprite. I love the gas points, but I wish they did more of the bonuses like buy 3 of these items and get 300 points and so on. They are a bit expensive, but you get better quality. So whenever they have good sales I make sure to get there, even though its 15 mins away and I pass 2 other supermarkets to get yo them. Just wish there was one closer to the Cottman/ Frankford, Cottman/Rhawn area.

The pharmacy is wonderful. Theyre so helpful and caring. My kids have complex medical conditions, so with covid they cant really be out in public. So the pharmacist came out to our car to give them their flu shots so I wouldnt have to risk them being exposed to all the people shopping.

First time I used Giant Pharmacy and using Good RX. Price was as displayed on line. Great value, good service.

I dont know whats going on there for three weeks in a row. And Im talking meats, fresh pasta, and a few other things. Ive taken things back a few times already meats that when I open them they are bad. I dont know whats going on there because I used to love that store they better find a new manager especially in the meat department I gave it four stars last time I shopped or last time I reviewed it. Now I dont think it deserves by any means

So easy to order on line. Then go pick up my order. No hassle waiting in line and they bring it to the truck and unload groceries for you.

This Giant super market location is clean and adequate in size. It offers fresh fruits, variety of seafood, international foods, food bar, & a Starbucks. One thing, it is a bit pricey if one doesnt sign up to Grants rewards membership or use the application for coupons. Also the parking-lot can be a headache during peak hours.
