Steve and team were first rate all the way. Communication was timely, bike (stock Surly Straggler) we exactly as we specd, ready when promised. Highly recommended, would absolutely do business with them again
I had 2 brake cable stops attached to my 1970s Raleigh Professional. The top tube was repainted and clear coated to match the original mink blue color. The Professional decal was also replaced. I also had part of the rear Campagnola deraileur hanger replaced and painted. All the work looks better than new. Im amazed.
I cant say enough good things about Bilenky Cycle Works. I brought in a severely damaged steel frame Trek 760 racing bike (from 1985). The top and bottom tubes were completely dented and bent. The rest of the bike was in decent shape, but I was told by every bike shop that the bike was pretty done for. Not here. Stephen re-built the frame with the original Reynolds tubing materials, repainted and added the original decals (from 1985) and it is practically a brand new bike, and rides as well as ever. He got the job done in 2 months, for a very reasonable price (lets just say less than a new bike). He even trued up a wheel I also thought was done for. Amazing craftsmanship.
Outstanding craftsman(and woman)ship from this shop! Ive also owned 3Rensho, Colnago, and Eddy steel frames from over the years, and Im still turning towards my secondhand Bilenky as my go-to city ride. Cant wait to treat myself towards a custom touring bike this summer
Noice.
I contacted Bilenky for a small custom paint job for a work related project. They were GREAT to work with. Very helpful, responsive and they did a great job with the bike. I would highly recommend them!
Great service. Knowledgeable personal. Plenty of parking. Easy access.
These guys are for paint jobs mostly and custom bikes not minor repairs like flat tires stuff.
Bilkenky Cycle Works built a coupled Sports Touring bike for me in 2004, and refreshed it in 2011 with a new head tube and new components. This is still my go-to bike for grand randonnées and long brevets. I have always found the shop very easy to work and accommodating. This year they are working with me on a minor repair and repaint.
