The male staff whom served me this morning 7/31/21 was really great! He was very kind and professional. He already knew exactly why I was there informed by the main office(?). Very responsive and communicative people there. It was amazing and made me feel good speaking to him. The staff was great when we went to rent a unit. Explained everything very thoroughly and was able to secure a larger unit at a lesser price by looking for discounts as well as asking my daughter for her college id for the college discount. Will only be there for two weeks while my daughter transitions from apartment to apartment but I’m very happy we chose them!!!

No different than any other storage places just have one twist you not 24 hours a day

I was just dissatisfied with there service after a year being with them they go up on there storage every 6 months I realized after the fact I was paying of my card every month they would take it off I called and they say that it was in there policy I cant keep paying extra money added twice a year thats just crazy there price dont stay the same

Compass Storage on Belmont Ave. Phila. PA customer service was always GREAT!! The manager was always supportive. I was able to gain access to my unit whenever I needed to take things out or bring things in. Very secure, clean & bright location.

My experience at this facility was great when using their storage service, but the recent U-Haul rental turned them down. Everything was ok before we returned the van but soon they told me that they have to charge me for missing dolly, which I luckily had taken photos at the time when I return the equipment. I send the photo to them and they told me the image is blur and the time of return is not explicit. I called them many times and hope to get the problem resolved, but every time their answer is ‘we are looking into this and no one call back, or have the issue resolved.Furthermore, while my charge should be somewhere around $57, they charged me a total of $340.75, one time on the rental date with $214.02 and another time few days after for $126.73. I tried to talked with them but the issue is still suspended and we dont think anyone is looking into it. Well, guess I have no choice but make a credit card dispute on this.

We were in the process of moving but our place wasnt ready so we had to look for a storage unit. We found Compass Self Storage which was close to our new home. I went there and got a unit in less than 30 minutes. When we hired our movers to get everything in the unit by closing time, we were unable to do it. I wasnt told that we had to request for a unit so that our car could easily pull up. The next day I called and spoke with Kim Marshall who was the manager. I was upset and explained that I want to cancel our unit. She asked why and I explained to her about the movers unable to access our unit. She calmed me down and told me she could see if there was another available unit closer to the driveway. She was able to switch out our unit for another one that was easier for the moving people to help us put our things in storage. She provided phenomenal customer service on the phone as well in person. I would use Compass Self Storage for our storage needs again and would recommend family and friends as well!

Very courteous and competent staff. Coordinated a storage unit and two separate U-Haul rentals for me and made a complicated move much easier. The truck I had reserved was not returned but Kim want to bat for me and had me a replacement truck arranged within minutes. The price for the storage unit was more than fair, too. Would highly recommend.

I needed to find storage before I moved, and Radford answered all of my questions and helped me find the appropriate size unit for my things! He seemed very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place and the helpful staff to anyone.

Convenient for customers to bring items into storage. Ive never experienced a storage place that allows you to drive your car to your storage unit. Nice variety of different size storage units.

This is an extremely well-run storage facility. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the manager, Rad, is delightful. They have all sorts of items to borrow without additional charge, such as large moving dolleys. It is scrupulously clean and we have not seen a single bug or rodent. I highly recommend Compass, Belmont Avenue.

Amber, who took care of me, was awesome. We had forgotten to bring a lock, and even when I came back the next day, to deal with this, and she had a large queue of customers, she had the lock and keys ready and just passed them to me, without my saying a word, not losing a beat with two people she was helping.Every where we walked was clean and tidy.

This place is dishonest when it comes to the advertised size of the units versus the actual size. I purchased a unit advertised as 10X15, the actual size of the unit was 10X13 and some inches! I previously stored my items at this site but under the previous management (Devon Self Storage). I never had a problem with Devon in fact they were business friendly. What probed me to write this review was the increase of carelessness As well as uncleanliness that is reflective of management A long with the dishonesty, not to mention the constant police activity due to ongoing thefts. When I saw the exaggerated ratings for this site I was compelled to say something.

Rented a UHaul a week in advance. The day of the rental I called to confirm and they said I no longer had a Uhaul available because it was damaged. They then did not answer my calls for about 45 minutes. After they scheduled me to pick up at a different location and that location was not even aware that I needed a truck.Worst customer service and they clearly do not care about their customers.

Crazy made up prices. Should be a law against charging the price of renting a house with a yard for a Little storage space. Robing the workaholic trying to pay rent and eat and the rich with no time to look for better or secret cheaper might get them robbed for nothing. This is clearly a example of price gouging, like a scam. One person Storage payment should never be or pay someone elses land taxes/propertly owner personal tax payment for a year. Scam artist come in all different disguise, smh.

Compass storge is not very secured, Locks get broken off and when that happens they dont call you to let you no anything, you will not know until you go check the rental space. . If you you have insurance all you may get back is two thousand back .

If I could give them zero stars I would. The set up makes no sense for a storage facility. The elevator is small. I had to wedge my small couch in it to move it to my storage. The elevator lets you off in a small corner on the 2nd floor. So if you hv 1 of the flatbeds moving your stuff its hard to get it off the elevator then you have to make a turn you wont be able to without hitting the wall. They dont send out paper bills emails or texts when your bill is due. They will only text you (and thts iffy) when your bill is 5 days past due. I cant wait to take my stuff out and I will never use them again!!!

Ive done storage plenty of times b/c Ive been in the Army and moved my whole professional career. The facility is massive, 24 hour access, security cameras throughout, indoor storage, and a whole range of different sizes. After compass took over from Devon they went through a massive make over and huge upgrades. Moving in is easy b/c pretty much every unit has drive up access. No tight hallways and stairs, and the place is right off a main road. One of the worst things of other storage is that they are always hidden on back roads and driving a car around is tight and risking scratching something. No problem here with that. Plenty of space for even trucks to maneuver. Central location by the zoo makes it a good spot if your using it as storage for business equipment.

I have had a storage unite for several years and not always pleased with the management. Under the current manager of Mr. Lewis I have seen a marked improvement in the overall service and management of the facility
