Maybe just go with a different company.The technician showed up 30 minutes before our appointment. Works for me. He texted that he was there— we let him in the gate. He sat in our driveway for 3 minutes and then drove away. I contacted him and asked if he was coming back and he said no, that we had made him wait too long. He told me to reschedule. My wife was waiting inside for him, but he never left his truck or knocked on the door. I asked him why he didn’t knock on the door and he said “Covid Protocol”. I guess we were supposed to go knock on his truck window? Really weird experience.

Our garage spring broke the other day. We called up Elite Garage Doors and Gates and they were out the next day to set us up with a new one. The spring was under warranty from about a decade ago, which was nice. Great service. Highly recommended.

Repairman Van came out on Sunday and diagnosed the problem with my garage door. He was very customer friendly and explained and showed me what he was doing.Great service and timely response.

Zero Stars...This company is a joke. I called them up to get a new overhead unit installed into our garage and 10 days later the job is still not done. Complete incompetence from these clowns. They came to our house and quoted me $800 to put in a lift master....the most expensive one they have because he said they did not have any other units, even though they advertise other units being available. I ask him about the Genie and he said he did not bring one but that I would have to reschedule another appointment to get the Genie unit, $100 less for that one. Anyway, this guy took apart our old unit and put together the lift master unit and assembled it in our garage. After he did that he then told me that there was a problem with the anchor for the coils that open the garage door....an extra $700 to have that installed. I told him to just put our old unit back up and he told me he could not do that because he had already put the new unit together....a total scam. My $800 quote turned into $1700, $200 just for one remote they charged us for. I have been trying to get ahold of someone there and they do not return calls or e-mails. They are completely avoiding me and will not come finish the job. The new anchor he put in is not even close to what we agreed to and is still not fixed properly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS,

The door quality is good. The doors where ordered and paid for in April.They arrived early September. Sells person was a ghost.The installation team was up selling things immediately. For the price I paid everything was supposed to be premium.Frank did a good job of installation. Ed is still learning.Over priced by a lot. I’d shop around more next time.

Requesting service with dispatcher was easy and informative. Showed up on time. The technician, David, was clearly experienced. He and Caleb fixed a detached rail (pulled completely out of the ceiling) and worn-out rollers in about an hour on the same day that I called. I liked that there were no emergency response or weekend charges, as they state they simply operate 24/7. I was also pleased that David talked me out of unnecessary charges when I questioned whether the springs should be replaced. He stated that although the springs had been painted - shouldnt do that - they were in good condition and would last for some time more. Nice to get good advice that is in my favor. The door now opens more smoothly and quietly than before. A morning crisis quickly became a no-hassle resolution. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

The sales representative Jeff, was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. When I shared with him that it was important to me to have the doors installed within a few days he assured me that if their installation crews were not available in that time frame that he would personally install them himself and he kept his word. I am very happy with the product and installation of my new garage doors. I would recommend Elite Garage Door to anyone.

The spring on my garage door had broken. Since the door would not go up, my car and golf cart were trapped inside the garage. After calling Elite, I was greeted by a friendly lady who was sympathetic with my dilemma and arranged to have a serviceman respond within 3 hours. Jeremy introduced himself and immediately investigated the problem. He explained that my springs needed to be replaced, reviewed the cost of the work to be done, and upon my approval he set about replacing the springs, adjusting the tension and lubricated the rollers. He was done in about an hour and a half. The door works better than ever and does not squeak anymore when it opens and closes. Jeremy was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I am very grateful for the quick, courteous service. In the spirit of the Tokyo Olympics, I would say Jeremy stuck the landing!

Day 1The tech came out to fix the garage door that would not go down because the cables kept getting tangled and unwound. He replaced the springs, and rollers. When he was done, the garage door still would not go down. He told me they needed to replace the retainer and seal because it was bent and the door was hitting the frame of the house. They would have to come back tomorrow. I would have appreciated an estimate before the work was started. They gave me the bill which was 3x more than I would have expected! If they would have given me that amount before, I would have gotten another opinion.Day 2The tech came out and replaced the retainer and called me and told me everything was good. When My wife got home the garage door opened fine, but it still would not close. The door was still hitting the frame of the house. She told me and I called to let them know. They said they would send someone out. I got home and when the tech got there he took photos of the door hitting the house and called his manager. He told me they would need to come back and fix it on Monday.Day 5I had called around 9:30 am to find out when the tech was coming, and they had not scheduled anybody to come out. When I let them know our garage door was not going down, they said they would send a tech out around 12:00pm maybe 1 in case he had problems with the previous install. I get home at 3 and no tech. At 4:30 I call them and they tell me their truck had broke down in Globe. The General Manager had told me he would guarantee someone would be out on Wednesday.Day 7The techs came out about an hour before they were scheduled. They had found that the original techs had mounted the rollers on the bottom of the door too low, thus not allowing the door to make the bend properly and not hit the frame of the house. The door is now working properly. We are not happy with the 1” gap between the door and the concrete. There is a rubber seal, but the retainer we had previously had had a piece of aluminum that cupped down over the gap. My opinion the original retainer was fine and was not hitting the frame. Not to mention all the hand prints across the door on the bottom. And to top it all off they had used and left my hammer laying outside the closed garage door. We are not impressed with the quality or service with this company!

Technicians were great quick and proficient. However we were scheduled for 8am and they didn’t arrive until 10:30. I was told by dispatch that they ran an emergency call first. You didn’t call to advice of late arrival. I made three calls before someone told us the status. Kept saying that they won there way. A lie. We were also an emergency. Had to cancel an important appointment in Salt Lake City because we were stuck in our garage. I will not recommend you

The Elite agent explained and demonstrated the nature of our problem clearly. He installed a new opener quickly and efficiently and even setup access for both of our cars which was beyond his responsibility. In all ways it was a very pleasant experience. Our old garage door opener was 20 years ole, and it was time for this to happen.

Jeremy was wonderful! He arrived when he said he would. He was polite, had a great personality and explained everything he was doing along with how to operate my new Lift Master. I highly recommend Elite Garage doors!

I called another company said it would be 2 days called Elite and they came out same day earlier than predicted by dispatch. I had called them because my spring on door broke he walked me through all options. And pricing for each option and advised on different warranty options. He had the parts on the truck. The trip out to inspect and advise issue was free. Wonderful company will definitely have on my speed dial for future repairs and possibly future upgrades.

Came out to estimate (free) the replacement of a section our RV garage door. It took a while to get the part. While I was on a trip with RV, they came out, installed it, adjusted the spring and movement and when I got back everything was done. Good company - good people.

Initially I was told that there would be a technician that would meet me on Monday morning. After taking the day off of work no one came.Then, I was promised someone would come on Wednesday and that they knew how to service the gate. They clearly didn’t.After two phone calls no one ever said explained that their was a trip charge or diagnostic fee. After arriving and looking at the unit we were told there was a $500 diagnostic fee but they the technician had already fixed the unit (within 30 mins of arrival).Unfortunately the unit was not working after the technician left. We had a second technician that works on Viking Access Systems come out today and they repaired the unit. They tested the batteries and immediately found out that the batteries were at less than 20% capacity and needed to be replaced. This should have been done by Elites technician but it’s clear that they work primarily on Lift Masters not Viking Access Systems.

Buyer beware, they are a overly priced rip off!I called this company to come out and give me a free quote as advertised on their website. A spring on our garage door had broken earlier that morning. After scheduling, A Man and his son showed up not in uniform but had a company truck with the logo so not a big deal. He was friendly at first going right in taking and pictures thinking he’ll give me the “quote”. I turned my back for a second to attend to my kids and he’s already taking apart my garage throwing stuff everywhere and being unprofessional. When I asked my husband how much it would be he said he wasn’t told a price and thought I was. He went back to ask how much and the man was trying to up-sale everything saying it all needed to be replaced as his “son” was working on the garage. When we advised him we just needed the spring replaced his demeanor changed even more. The fbomb was being thrown around along with other garage door parts like he was upset at this response. Since the job was almost already complete when we found out how much it would be at that point what do you do.. Other companies charged around $200-300 for the job, we were charged $866.38 to be exact.. Definitely do not recommend!

I wanted to wait a while before giving a review. So it’s been over a month and I’d recommend this business as my go to in repairing/installing a garage door with an automatic opener. I’ve had no issues. The previous company didn’t mount the motor to studs in the ceiling. This company does the right thing by taking care of you as part of their family.

Worst service ever. They were supposed to be at our house between 2:00 and 4:00. We waited until 4:15 and finally got a hold of,the office. They said the technician was running late and would call to let us. when to expect him. Left us waiting and never heard from this company again until we got this review on our phone. If there were zero stars that would be our score.

Not sure if I got ripped off or not. Suspect if I had shopped around I would have gotten a better price. I made an appointment on a Friday for Saturday afternoon. The technician did not show up. Three phone calls later I had a technician show up on Sunday. He told me it would take about 45 minutes to install a new garage door opener. Several hours later it was done. I had trouble programming a second garage door opener I picked up at a hardware store. Long story made short. The tech came back and straitened things out. He rearranged the sensors. Said this will take about 10 minutes. About an hour or so later it was working.

They called and said they were coming to replace our garage door opener and never showed up THREE different times. Horrible communications and scheduling. Over promised and under delivered but gave me a WHOLE $100 off for wasting three different days of my life over a month and a half. The installers were excellent once they showed up but overall experience was BAD.

Scam Alert!!! Bait and Switch!!! I put a deposit on a new roller gate opener and then they called back 2 or 3 days later to say the residential model was out of stock with the supplier and was no where to be obtained for the next 8 weeks. I would have to wait 8 weeks for something that we agreed upon being delivered within 7 to 10 days of me having put the deposit. They offered the commercial version for only an additional $700.I called the tech who gave the quote and told him I needed to cancel and that I found the same model out of state. I called the office 4 times and could never get the guy who could actually help me. They kept telling me he was on a call or down in the shop, but would call me in 5 minutes. He never did call, so I replied to the e-mailed quote and canceled the order requesting a refund of the deposit and then ordered from out of state just before the close of business.They called back today and had Magically received 4 residential units that they didnt even know where they came from. Also, he lied and said he was working out of the office, even though 2 people told me they had seen him in the office and would have him call me right back. Then told me they wanted to come out an install the residential unit as ordered. And although he had heard that I was trying to cancel the day before that cancelation actually was not possible since (news to me, nowhere in writing or verbally stated) deposits are now non-refundable. I tried to explain the process of offer and acceptance, where he said that he could not fulfill the order as offed was a breach and a counter offer which I had not accepted.Well he was going to have to talk to the ownership and I let him know that I was going to have to call my credit card now. I have since reversed the charges and I will be calling AZ Attorneys office to report the bait and switch which is patently illegal.Do not do business with these guys. If they would try to cheat me, they will try to cheat you.Side note, their tech Don was nice, personable, and a real expert on gates, and I believe he is fair and honest, but Its not his company and he is not a cheat or a liar.

Elite was incredible. We contacted them on Monday when our garage door cracked and they had someone out the same day. This was also the same week as Christmas so we were worried that installation of a new door was going to be delayed. Martin was fantastic! Ripped off. Two garage springs $379 EACH plus $275 installation. Unfortunately I delegated this to my wife. Local companies I’ve usually paid $175 to $350 total for the same service.

I had to replace my double garage door. Mine was cracked, derailed and stuck in the up position. Precision responded quickly and got the door down for security and ordered a new door. The installation was efficient and professional. Good service and good people. The new door is a dream.

We were extremely pleased with our recent service experience with Elite. First, they made a sane day appointment. The service tech was actually early. After discussing and explaining our options in great detail. We made a decision which required an additional opener. The technician made arrangements to have what we needed shuttled to our place. The job was finished quickly. The tech knowledgeable and very efficient. The entire experience aided by a great service technician met even exceeded our expectations.

The garage door is fine and goes up and down.But ... the installers left a hell of a mess that I had to clean up.The sales person was not clear on how much floor space was necessary for the installers and consequently we had to move all of my shop equipemnt to give them the room they needed. The chief installer was a very rude person an treated his helper very badly.I was not happy with the installation process.

Finally I found someone, Daniel, from a great company, Elite that knew what he was doing and set up a system for my garage door that works the best it every has. After years of being scammed, I am now happy with what was being done. Thank you, Elite, from the first call, your excellent scheduler, to your prompt and excellent service and hour later. Kudos.

The service techs were professional and their work was excellent, once they got there. I was scheduled initially for a 4p-6p slot so arranged my day accordingly. They showed up around 10-1015p and were done around 1130p. Along they way, I never received a call about the delay. I had to call in, once with a 13 minute hold time. I finally got a call from the tech about an hour out.

After a call to replace a spring that had failed, we had a technician over to give us a quote. Mind you we were already told over the phone that the spring replacement would be no more than $200.I left the technician in our garage for about 3 minutes. He said he would be 5 minutes to assess the situation. My husband was not home as he had been called in for a job, he is a technician elsewhere. The technician comes back in from the garage and tells me he has an assessment. We cant replace your spring only as the support for the spring is unsafe. I asked him to show me. The support for this spring is the 2 x 4 board that is mounted to our house using 4- 8 lag bolts set into concrete. There was nothing wrong with it or the other two 2 x 4 placed on each side of the door. The price skyrocketed to an astounding $600 due to this supposedly bad anchor for the spring. I called my husband and we told the technician that he could leave.During the time that the technician was here he left his truck running and ready to go. Once he left, I investigated everything he said. There is no support issue with the springs anchor and why would he try to charge an additional $400 for that. The cable on the right or left side of my garage door was not off its rail prior to the visit. Now the cable on the right side of my garage door was untethered. Perhaps, this man thought that since I am a woman at home with kid and pregnant that I wouldnt know what the mounting brackets, spring, lag bolt, or cable were. Perhaps, he also didnt think I knew a crooked company when I saw one. I am an engineer/physicist and perhaps this guy should not be such a crook. This company is just the renamed Precision Garage Door of Phoenix that scammed many before. Do NOT use this company.

For the most part everything was fine except the price! I called this company because the bolts were falling out of our back gate. Mind you the gate is normal in size...maybe 40”...The repair man looked at the gate snd told me it would be $295 for the trip charge and then another $100 for the repair.While I was shocked that it was going to be $395 to put four bolts back in and adjustments etc., I went ahead with the repair as he was here and I needed it fixed.He found that our spring return was faulty and he tried to adjust that and was not able to. He suggested I needed a new spring and he could come back and fix it with a new spring. I panicked thinking wow... another $295 trip charge? He said he would wave that charge and only charge me the cost for the spring and the repair labor. He said he would get me a quote. I have not heard yet what the estimate will be and it has been four days.I just feel that $395 is a chunk of change four four bolts and adjustments. Maybe the “trip charge” was so much because the gentleman came from Tonopah...He did it great job, thankfully!

We had a garage door button that wasn’t working anymore and we called Elite as they took over for Precise Garage Doors who we were extremely happy with on the installation some 8 years ago. Elite sent out some guys to take a look same day which we appreciated. They took one look at the button on the wall and said that’s too old we can’t replace that or fix it. My husband asked what do we do then, and he said we needed to replace the entire unit for $1,299! My husband told them to get the hell out. We went to Home Depot and bought a wall mount button for $9 and it works great. Needless to say we will never deal with these folks again. Absolutely outrageous. Don’t be taken folks! Do your homework!

Terrible experience with the company. Installer damaged my garage door during installation of a new opener. He then charged me for an upgraded support that was needed because he bent the door panels! I had a senior installer come out and inspect the damage. I never heard back.... I called six times and left six messages. Each time I was told that a supervisor would respond to me.....never happened. I was told that new replacement panels have been order and they will replace the damaged panels. It has been two months since the inspection by the senior installer and I have not had one single call returned by someone from the company. Thumbs down on this company .

We scheduled garage repair for broken spring on two-car garage door for my elderly parents’ home. When we scheduled, we asked for estimated cost and she said they cannot provide an estimate, but it would be minimum $150 and went up based on work. Technician replaced both springs and no other components. 45 min total job at a cost of $800! More than twice what we expected. A very high cost and believe this company took advantage of my elderly parents.

This was a very painful and not well communicated solution to an exterior mounted door issue. The installers made it work by modifying the door in the end but it looks funky. For what I paid I wish I had done another solution. The door was always to be hung on the outside, there was never room to hang it on the inside. The door is painted side is not seen. Also the lock had to be flipped and lowered. Lastly it took almost 90 days to get the door. Now I have to paint the inside of the door because it faces out. Have extra holes in the door. It goes to a utility room we always talked about cutting a vent, they never said the metal wasnt flat. This was a waste of good money for something that wasnt going to work. Nothing was communicated properly.It would have been better if I was told they couldnt do it.I would like to add I did send two emails and a message before I wrote this review over three weeks ago an no answer. Two weeks ago as you can see below the Owner said he would personally look into to it. Crickets, not a single communication from anyone!!

This company is an absolute joke. Sales guy came out, I told him I’d buy that day if they could get the doors installed in 2 weeks. He said not a problem, he assured me it would be done in 2 weeks. They wouldn’t answer my calls and then didn’t schedule anything. I had to call multiple times to make sure to get scheduled. I was told an electrician was going to come out and get it all wired. Never came This was in October. It is now December 11th and they just got installed. The problem is that the electrician still did not come and now my garage doors have no power to them because of the j shaft I bought. I called the office with no answer, it went to the scheduler and he said nothing was scheduled with a electrician. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. My job is still not complete, I have no power to my doors. I will be filing complaints everywhere because this was the worst service I’ve ever had. I had given them 3 chances to get this right, and even on the day the doors are installed they still can’t plan accordingly. Save your money and time and use someone else.

Only issue we have is the car has trouble opening the door at time . Both cars have this problem. Other than that its just too quiet !!!

Outstanding service! Had good contact with Elite getting the service scheduled and once the tech arrived, he was quick, thorough, super friendly and the results were incredible. Had a noisy garage door that you could hear a block away. After he was finished I can barely hear it closing standing in the garage! Door works so much better now and Im 100% completely satisfied with the job they did. Id recommend Elite to anyone looking for garage door service!

I am extremely happy with the service I received from Brandon. He called from the road when he was on his way to my house and he arrived on time. It turned out on that I needed a new garage door opener and Brandon was very thorough at explaining why. He was very friendly, explained all of the features of the new opener and he did an excellent job installing the unit. He helped me to program the new unit and he told me that it was ok to call him on his cell if I had any questions after he left.I would highly recommend Elite Garage Doors due to the excellent service received from Brandon!

Stay away from these guys, they will take you to the Cleaners recommending unnecessary replacement parts and charging obnoxiously OVER priced pulleys, rollers, springs, and added warranties. The worst part is they don’t share pricing upfront. The tech makes it sound like small charges and once you verbally okay it, present you with a bill after the fact with outrageous amount and extended warranty. I called them out because My garage door would sometimes close and sometimes won’t, they came out and replaced two springs, a pulley, 10 side rollers and added a warranty for nearly $1500, and the worst part is the door still had the same issue which the Tech said it needed new motor head replacement for additional $1200. I told him no thank you. I went to another local company and purchased the controller board and replaced it my self for $175. I then had to chase them on the phone to refund the unwanted / extended warranty ($350). The sad part is I have used them the past over 5-6 years ago, and were great back then, which is why I called them. They must’ve changed hands. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else for honest company.

Outstanding service!! Called mid morning and told the tech would arrive by 3. Jay Rivas the tech quickly diagnosed the problem. Fixed it and was gone in less than 45 minutes. One happy customer. Have been a long time customer of Elite and highly recommend them for your garage door and gate needs!!

Absolutely awesome experience, from the salesman to the installer. Very professional, I had 3 estimates & they beat them with a better product & less expensive to boot. The installer helped me with the remotes, my truck & the key pad. He took his time with me & made sure I understood everything before he left for his next appointment. If your looking for a garage door or a garage door opener, this is the company you need to call.. P.S. the Manager is fantastic as well..... Thanks Guys & Gal

Elite Garage was fast and through. There tech Daniel was personable and a knowledgeable. I could have saved money by sourcing the parts and figuring it out myself, BUT... it would have taken me an entire Saterday. I called them in the evening after 5pm, they were there promptly at 8am the next morning, and was done in under an hour - in an Arizona July day! Money well spent. I will use them again and recommend.

Prior to purchasing an overhead door, I contacted Elite Garage Doors to help me with measurements to position the door properly. Daniel Malanoski arrived at the jobsite and was extremely helpful in determining where to position pillar etc and power source for the motor. His expertise and helpfulness made it an easy choice to call when I was ready to purchase my door.

I was I need of a service man to come and tell me what was wrong with my Garage door, A gentleman came down and tight away he noticed that one of the main springs apparently broke and thats what was causing the Garage door to not go up on one side, I ask the repair man what he needed to replace his remark was ( I wont know until I start getting into it ) I left him and every 20min I would go check on this gentleman because it was very hot in the garage I offered him refreshments and ask him how everything is going he told me everything is ok that it would be done soon, Well when he finished he got on his iPad and asked me numerous questions, when he was done he gave me a bill of 2300 plus tax, of course I was furious I was in the garage asking the right questions but did not get a answer until the end, We negotiated a price but I feel that he should have not any work on my garage without my permission! According to him the garage needed to be completely rebuilt, I just had the left side of the garage replaced not the right side, WARNING if you are going to have work done by these people make sure you have a quote in writing prior to any work. I have been in the Car business for 27yrs and people call is crooks, Please dont make the same mistake o did !!!!

Elite was extremely friendly and very helpful when I had questions. The installer was very nice, knowledgeable and professional. I recommend this company to anyone looking for a garage door opener.

Dale was on time and was very efficient in getting the job done in less then 2 hrs. Door was balanced well adn the installation of ball bearing rollers has made the door very quiet. great Job would recommend them for garage door service.Bob Werkheiser

We have two gentlemen arriving today at our house to give us a quote; one of the guys was very professional however we had a terrible experience with the African American man. The African American guy told us $300 to fix the garage door bottom seal, I said I will think about it and get back to you, then he got into an argument mood and told me my family was wasting his time! This company needs to be hold accountable not to force people to pay the money they dont want to get the service done! Its my money and I choose to hold of on the service simple as that! People watch out for this guy! Very unprofessional and mad at our family!

Good work but expensive for garage opener. Marked up significantly in cost comparison to actual cost. Genie
