Adam Kelly, the owner, was wonderful to work with. He took the time to explain what I had and the quality of each item. He purchased jewelry that I havent worn in over 10 years - this was a great way to clear out my jewelry box and make some money. This store is on the main street in Phoenixville - convenient to all the shops and restaurants. I went on a weekday and was able to find street parking very easily. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to sell their jewelry. Note: he doesnt take pearls.

Went to sell unwanted gold jewelry for cash. Adam was a super nice guy and had great prices - enough to not even bother taking the chance on mailing them away for a slightly better return. Very honest guy. Checked and weighed everything and 15 min later I left with cash in hand. As others said, check him out! Hes my go-to from now on!

I cannot figure this place out. I stopped by about a month ago, at around 4, when they had to close early (4:30 instead of the usual 5). I left having put aside a number of things I wanted, and left my contact information with them so they could get things moving by pricing them.They never attempted to contact me back. About a month later -- last week -- I stopped by again, at 3:45. They were closed with no explanation. So this past Sunday, I called, left a message, and told them I would probably be by this weekend.I went back today -- Saturday -- at 2:15 and once again found them closed without explanation. I wont be trying a fourth time.I dont understand why this business is regularly closed during hours they say theyre open, and dont understand why theyre ghosting me when I wanted to buy a bunch of things from them. Im sure theyre fine people to deal with -- assuming you can get actually get a hold of them.

Brought in a bag of random jewelry that my daughter wanted to sell. Walked out with far more than I was expecting. He took the time to go through about a hundred pieces of jewelry from big bracelets to tiny, almost weightless trinkets, testing each piece. The whole process took about 15 minutes, and he was very knowledgeable about everything. Had an answer for every question I asked. Professional, friendly, and I will definitely go here anytime I have gold to sell in the future.

This review is long overdue! Don’t bother wasting your time, getting price quotes from other buyers..Adam gives FAR more, then other buyers. Trust me, Ive visited all the other local buyers..they’ll rip you off. Each and every time I’ve done business with Adam, it was nothing but a great experience! Adam is as honest as they come. For instance, I once brought in twice as many coins as I though I had..I told him exactly how many were there..within a few minutes, he corrected me, and told me the actual amount. That would’ve been a perfect opportunity for him to rip me off. Of course, he didn’t. WIth that being said, i HIGHLY recommend this business!

Searching for the right coin shop can be a daunting task but after reading several reviews online about Phoenixville Coin and Jewelry Exchange, I was very very satisfied by the visit. My situation was going in there with some foreign currency, coins, some gold jewelry and vintage casino chips. I was in a financial crisis and was struck of in need of some cash. Adams exchange was the best, beyond exceptional. The first time I went in there, James, his employee, inspected all what I had to offer and paid me top dollar right on the spot within minutes. I was even surprised that they took my vintage casino chip set. Again I have to say I am very greatful for such a wonderful visit with Adam, he is a very generous good hearted person that will consider every factor of your personal situation to help you out. I would definitely give this place 6 out of 5 stars if that was possible even to show my deepest appreciation for his generosity to offer the best prices out there. The place was clean, organized, and actually had someone there. The person doing the appraisal was nice and was straight up about the penny that couldnt sell. He had a special case to give so I can keep it till the day it may become worth something.Would definitley come again if I have anything to sell in the future.

I wasnt impressed with this store. It looked like a cash for gold, turned into a coin shop, trying to stay alive type of business. I brought my coin collection into the store and he didnt really seem to know too much about coins. I did not stay. He was a very nice guy but it was clear he didnt know what he was doing. I also didnt like the fact that he carried a gun, it just didnt make me feel safe.
