Not only were they the first and ONLY place I went to for my dress but my consultant was able to find THE DRESS among our first round of choices!Getting fitted was breeze with the seamstresses knowing exactly what they were doing and offering tips and recommendations that actually made my day as bride so much easier!Overall, the dress was beautiful and every time I went in the staff was great to work with! I absolutely loved my experience at Betsy Robinson! I decided to go twice since I wasn’t sure of vision for my wedding dress. I tried on some styles that I liked but I wasn’t sure about since I was looking for something specific. I was able to do a “borrow” of a dress that I was interested by a designer they carry, just not that dress in-store, and it was the dress! I can’t wait for my dress to come in and to pick out all my accessories, it was such a wonderful experience!

Amazing experience at Betsy Robinson! I had Mal helping me try on dresses. She did an amazing job picking out styles that I loved and ultimately helped me pick the one! If youre a person of a certain color, a spy will be dispatched to CONSPICUOUSLY monitor your movements throughout the salon. After spending thousands on a bridal gown and fittings, I was, repeatedly, treated like a common thief at this establishment. If you like being treated with dignity, take your hard-earned money and business elsewhere. DO NOT allow Betsy Robinson to destroy your bridal experience. In the end, she made it clear how she felt about us. She did not place my nieces gown in a garment bag --she placed it in a pink plastic bag. We purchased another gown for my niece at Carines Bridal Atelier. The experience at Carines Bridal Atelier was excellent and exceptional!

I wish I could give it 100 stars. After visiting Kleinfelds in NY and not having any luck or the greatest experience, I came here 2 days later. A complete 180! The moment I walked in there is just a vibe Ive never felt before, even going to bridal salons for my first wedding. Everyone is so welcoming! Mal was my consultant and I knew instantly that she understood what I was looking for and I knew I would end up finding my dress that day. She was so supportive and full of information. All the dresses she picked out were what I had been looking for and the first one she picked for me ended up being the one! I was on a time crunch for ordering/alterations/additions to my dress I wanted and they are able to accommodate when the other salon told me no! Can I also say how impressed I was that Betsy was there interacting with Brides and helping! Ive never seen that before, EVER! If you’re in the market for the perfect wedding dress I highly recommend seeing what Betsy Robinson’s has to offer. The selection is fabulous with every type of gown imaginable. I LOVE that my consultant did not pressure me into making a decision. You also have the freedom to browse through all of the dresses during your appointment at your leisure - this is unlike some other dress stores that I came across. Although their alterations are somewhat pricey, my seamstress Olga made my dress fit like a glove. I didn’t want to take it off! I do recommend shopping around for a cleaning/preservation service as I came across several reputable places that offered the same service at a better price.

Mal was very sweet and kind to the bride. However she was very pushy and spoke with the other participants in a condescending way. She was insensitive to the groups preferences and is made the women of color feel minimized and uncomfortable. To be clear the bride was catered to and the family members were treated as though they were not welcome to participate.

The staff is so great! I bought my dress and my bridesmaids dresses here! My dress was flawless! The bridesmaids had sizing issues though.Also they have a discount rack of veils sometimes that is worth a look!

They will tell you whatever you want to hear to make a sale. The sample sale dress I bought was purchased under the assurance that the alterations I wanted done (to the neckline) were possible, and that was the only way I would “say yes” to the gown I ended up purchasing.The salesperson (who was very helpful despite what went on afterwards) got a seamstress and Betsy herself to give their thoughts on what could be done for the dress. They both convinced me that the alterations I wanted were very straightforward AND fit within my budget. They were not doing alterations at the time, but assured me I could find any seamstress near where I live (an hour and half from Betsy’s) and they would be able to handle the alterations. So I bought the dress with the expectation of finding someone near me to alter it.My excitement turned to dread after going to several seamstresses near me and they told me any of the following:- We aren’t capable of doing what you’re looking for, and don’t believe anyone who says they can because it won’t look like what you are expecting- We can do something near what you’re looking for, but it will cost the price you paid for the dress to do the alterations, therefore making the dress significantly over my budget- This can’t look like what you were told that it could look like for these specific reasonsI called the store and spoke with Betsy twice to speak about the situation and what I had learned. While the sales people were very polite and sympathetic, when I spoke with Betsy she said she couldn’t take the dress back (even though “wouldn’t” is what she really meant), but she could do the alterations at her store. I explained they were too far away for me to come get the alterations done (which I explained in my initial visit), and I had no trust in their ability to make the alterations anymore after the other opinions I got. On top of this, I have a friend who had a bad experience with alterations at Betsy’s (she was charged three times more than she was quoted and they did not do what they told her they would), so there was no way I was going to pay them to ruin the dress I already overpaid for. I offered to pay a restocking fee or let them buy it back from me, to which Betsy replied “I think I already have plenty of dresses”.I wasn’t really expecting for them to take the dress back, because I understood the conditions under which I purchased the sample gown (no returns), but hoped they might have some kind of integrity in what they sell. They took advantage of a quarantine bride running out of time to find a dress, and I paid the price. If you find a dress you like perfectly, as is, great, but don’t listen to what they say about alterations.

Similarly to what another person said they will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale. The reason I gave a two star was for the extension of my dress consultation but this was due to not many clients on site due to pandemic.I tried on the dress I bought it fit me like a glove in the store. However, there was minor stitching undone on the left side of the dress. Sales associate kindly took the dress back to the seamstress to have it stitched up. I was sold on buying the dress when the SA told me I can add sleeves to the dress. Mind you she gave me one sleeve to work with! Being overjoyed I was told alterations weren’t being done in house and had to drive up the street to another seamstress to add the sleeves.When I get to the seamstress location I tried The dress on again so seamstress can see what she is working with. It fit me way tighter than before! What happened if an hour ago it fit me perfectly? The back of the button were stretched out by trying to fit in to the dress and ultimately That piece needed to be replaced.I sent a text message showing before and after pictures of my dress to the SA. Luckily my mom took pictures of The back of the dress in store with me in it. I sent her pictures of before and after. No response or call back from the SA!! I called the store and they acted very nonchalant about my concerns.They are all sweet to you in your face but once they make the sale and you are out that door they can careless of your concerns! Would not recommend to anybody.

I recently found my dream wedding dress at Betsy Robinson bridal shop. I am in love with my dress!!! Its a dress that I have not seen on any one else. My shop attendant, Ashley, was polite patient and sweet. She actually picked out the dress and choose the perfect veil for the dress. The front desk representative were great and made me feel very comfortable with allowing me to celebrate me finding a dress in the lobby area. The collection is large and the prices are right! I had a fantastic experience saying yes to the dress and an even better experience with their alterations department in house. I had an overwhelmingly positive experience at Betsy Robinson’s! As a plus sized woman, I was very nervous about finding my dream wedding dressed. The selection of sizes and options to try on in the store was awesome. My consultant, Rose, listened carefully to what I wanted, and helped me find my dream dress. There was a trunk show, so I received 15% off. I cannot wait for my order to come in, and I’m even more excited to wear my dress next October on my wedding day. I would definitely recommend Betsy to others. The attentiveness and selection cannot be beat.

I was here with a friend who was shopping for her gown. Our sales consultant, Rose, was lovely. However, we were not impressed by the response time from the online form we filled out on Monday for our Wednesday appointment request. We did not hear from the store until mid-morning on Wednesday and did do a bit of scrambling in our day to make an afternoon appointment that was available. We also felt off-put by having to repeat the information in person that was already given in the online forms.The store is lovely but a bit dark lighting wise. Rose explained the layout of the store and we quickly realized more than half the store/stock would be unavailable to my friend as she is a bridal size 22/24 and the selection available was disappointing. Beyond that, what seemed like, about 1/3 of the samples in that range are discontinued and not re-orderable. Overall, the experience was not great as a plus size bride.There are some very pretty dresses if you are a bridal 8-12.

My mom and I decided to start looking for dresses early so that I would know what certain styles looked like on my body. We chose the Eddy K trunk show to attend since I love his dresses. No way was I ready to buy a dress, I was just going to look. However, when we walked into Betsy Robinsons we were welcomed with open arms and smiles. I was really nervous and when the lady at the front desk asked to see my ring, my hand was shaking! She assured me everything was going to be ok and that I was going to have fun. The shop is nice and clean and the gowns are all gorgeous. Rose was our consultant and she was a treat (another consultant/tailor was super helpful also but I forget her name)! Rose gave us huge hugs and really listened to what we had to say. I kid you not, after trying on a few different dresses, I spoke up about some other styles I could see myself in and she hand picked the dress that I now am calling my wedding gown :) It took her no time. She knows what she is doing. I cannot wait to go back when my dress arrives and try it on. Betsy herself was also so honest and sweet. Lovely shop.

When I arrived we sat down and talked about my vision, wedding location and how I wanted to feel/look. From there she pulled 4 or 5 dresses and myself and party pulled another 10-15. Everyone was so welcoming and just nice. Yes, there were a lot of dresses for my body type and price range. It’s a larger salon than the others I went too.. so it was since to see the wide variety of dress and styles and sizes. My consultant, Ashley, was amazing, and she helped me find my dream dress!!! I had a pretty great experience at Betsys! Found the dress easily without any pressure from anyone at the store. Everyone continued to be extremely helpful through the alteration process which was a bit tedious. Molly and Brian were absolutely amazing every step of the way. The only issues I had were discrepancies on alteration specifics and although it was stressful at times EVERYONE worked together to make sure I was 100% satisfied with my dress before the wedding. I felt comfortable that the dress would perfect the whole time and I would do it all over again!

I went to Betsys about 2 months ago and was my first time shopping for a wedding dress. Their boutique was beautiful and seemed like a one stop shop for all my bridal needs. I was immediately greeted at the front desk and after waiting for about 10 minutes for my stylist (I was 20 minutes early for my appointment), Ashley came and greeted me and my family. She was so nice and outgoing. She let my family pick out dresses for me to try on and didnt give me a limit on how many I was allowed to try on. I loved that she included my family in the process and they loved it too. I went in looking for a certain gown by a specific designer and after I tried on the dress I thought I I wanted, Ashley went shopping and ended up picking out my wedding dress! She was not pushy at all and never tried to hurry me out of the door. Betsys even followed up with me via email to make sure I did not have any additional questions. I highly recommend their shop!

I’d like to start by saying this was the first dress appt I went to and had three other appointments scheduled. From the moment you enter you’re considered family. Everyone is smiling and welcoming! They match you with a consultant and are given the chance to pick several dresses for yourself while the consultant picks what she thinks would be best based on your preference. I was given the opportunity to be assigned to Kimberly who I cannot speak highly enough of. This woman is INCREDIBLE!Kimberly had SO much patience with me and also with my family. She asks questions to help pick your brain while trying on dresses since she knows it’s a bit overwhelming and navigates from there. Not once did I feel pressure and not once was I shown a dress that was out of my budget. Betsey even took the time to sit, talk to us and introduce herself and even gave her opinion as well. I had the best experience possible. I came in having no idea what I wanted and just trusted Kimberley to guide me along. Needless to say I gladly cancelled my other appointments and became a Betsey bride! :) my family and I had an incredible experience and you all helped create a memory that we will forever cherish and look back on with a smile on our face.I cannot recommend this place enough.Piece of advice- come open minded, try on various styles, discuss your budget, and bring ONLY the most important people with you. So I walked into Betsy’s shop on a last minute whim, just hoping to get an idea of what style I was interested in. Was NOT looking to or planning on actually buying a dress. Our appointment started a little late, but it’s because each consultant takes their time! Ashley was PHENOMENAL! She was so patient, insightful, and even helped me figure out my dream style (which was sooo unexpected!) The whole staff was so friendly, welcoming, and not pushy! 10/10 recommend!

I had the BEST experience at Betsy Robinsons Bridal from start to finish! I literally felt like I was on Say Yes to the Dress at Kleinfelds in New York City. I worked with Laura, Betsy, and Brian and they were simply fantastic! I found my dream gown at a trunk show they hosted, but wanted to make a few alterations to the sample. They were wonderful at communicating my ideas to the designer and my dress arrived looking exactly as I had expected. The alterations process went very smoothly and I always looked forward to going to the salon because everyone is so kind and inviting. I also purchased my veil, headpiece, and a matching bracelet from Betsys, which perfectly completed my look. My bridesmaids also got their dresses at Betsys. I truly cannot say enough good things about my experience and highly recommend all brides to get their dress at Betsys!

I checked out three other stores in addition to Betsy Robinson, but returned to Betsy Robinson because of the excellent service Kelli provided and the outstanding collection the store offered. Not only did Kelli go out of her way to have three dresses brought in for me, but she was incredibly patient throughout my selection process. She made me feel comfortable and didnt pressure me once. Kelli connected me with Betsy as I was making my final decision, and Betsy was absolutely fantastic. She called the designer personally to inquire about some adjustments I had in mind and walked me through what alternations her seamstress could make. Betsy was very sweet and helpful, and I had no reservations when I said yes to the dress! I highly recommend this salon! They are professional, focused on each individual client, and are willing to go above and beyond to make your experience as wonderful as possible. I couldnt be more thankful.

I had visited a couple bridal shops before Betsy Robinsons. Laura was my consultant and she is a godsend. She never pushed or seemed hurried. She helped fine tune my look and much of the credit for the items I selected (dress, veil, and earrings) lie with her. Their jewelry collection is incredible - not necessarily the cheapest in bridal jewelry, but each piece is beautiful crafted and unique. My fittings have all gone smoothly; the seamstresses are attentive and willing to work with you to streamline your dresss shape. I believe that their dress collection is plentiful and that the prices are fair. There likely are cheaper alternatives for dresses and for fittings, but I believe Betsy Robinsons is trustworthy (which means a lot to an upcoming bride). I really never write reviews for anything, but wanted to give the store and the stores employees credit for basically being responsible for my entire wedding look. :)

I had a great experience shopping for a bridesmaid dress. My consultant showed me all of the options available from the designer the bride selected and was very patient with me while I tried each one on. I was impressed by the selection that was offered, especially since the store is small in square footage. The store is clean, all of the employees I encountered were very friendly, helpful, and professional. My consultant also showed me their collection of Thomas Knoll jewelry, and I found a cute, affordable set of earrings to pair with my dress. Overall, the whole thing couldnt have been easier. I would definitely shop there for my own dress!

Ashley Davis, Molly, the people at the front desk and all of the crew at Betsys are absolutely amazing, including the talented seamstresses who have done a spectacular job helping me with my dress from the day I picked it out through all the fittings, even though my body has been changing. Thank you so much! I will recommend Betsys to all of my friends and family.

I came in here with my bridesmaids to shop for their dresses. We were given zero guidance, and not helped throughout the process at all, except to let us know that “hey by the way, you only have 15 minutes left in this appt.” When I asked to be pointed in the direction of other dresses in a similar style to ones I liked I was told to “just pull from this designer” and not guided with any help from the staff. We never had a chance to sit down with a consultant and discuss the dresses, options, price points etc. The rooms were hot, stuffy and tight. We were never offered water or refreshments. There was no personalized attention, and we all walked out feeling very anxious and unwelcome. I recommend going someplace that will provide more personalized—actually any personalized service.

I had already gone to 3 different stores shopping for dresses. Today I had an appointment at Robinson’s Bridal. OMG! I am in love! By chance I got the highly sought and highly recommended consultant Ms. Rose! With all the reviews I saw online recommending her, as soon as she introduced herself, my heart melted and I knew I was in good hands. Ms. Rose listened to my concerns, my needs, and my wants as a PLUS SIZED BRIDE! She ended up pulling 3 dresses for me to try, but the first dress ended up being my dream dress!!!! She paired it with accessories and a veil and I cried. Lucky for me, the dress was on sale for Labor Day. The staff was so nice, Ms. Kim the manager came to congratulate me. Michael helped me close out the sale and everything took under 2 hours. Ms Rose has 19 years experience for a reason!!! She is absolutely amazing!!!! I wish I could give 10 stars. I got a “Say Yes to the Dress” experience right here at Betsy Robinson’s!!!!!!

I would not recommend Betsy Robinson. The dress came in and was not made to measurements. I can assure you my daughter had acutuall last weight. The straps were too short and there was nothing to let out. The bust squished flatter than a pancake. The dress was short waisted. Their response was “oh well”. We can add material, order new straps and so on to the tune of $1000. They would not acknowledge that the dress was either measured or made incorrectly. My daughter was 9 pounds lighter than original visit. We went to Cameo Bridal and found Gina SUPER wonderful. We wish we had gone there first.

Betsey Robinson’s was not accommodating to plus size women. I went as a bridesmaid and the bride chose a certain designer. In the rack of dresses from that designer (of at least 100 dresses), there was not one dress over size 14. Several of the same dresses in different colors and sizes but not one were plus sized. The designer offers dresses up to size 28 but you cannot physically try one one. I paid over $250 for a dress that I didn’t get to fully try on. They also charged more if you are plus sized. $30 for 18-22 and $40 for sizes 24-28. If you are plus sized in any way, stay away.

2 of my Friends bought wedding dress from here. They have a good selection. Bride felt a little like pretty woman by the looks she felt when she first walked in but overall a great experience.

I was nervous coming in for my appointment being a curvy and plus size bride. I had been to one other popular bridal salon here in MD, claiming to be catered solely for the “full figured bride,” and I felt like their selection was very dull. The options here were amazing- and gorgeous. I was overwhelmed with options initially, but my consultant Gina was so comforting and helpful- I can’t say enough. She always made sure I felt comfortable and sure of myself. She also made me less anxious and had me laughing throughout my appointment. I definitely reccomend asking for her if you’re feeling anxious about an appointment- or even if you’re not. I’m so excited to go back for alterations on my dream dress, (which she suggested for me to try!) thank you Gina!

We visited Betsy Robinson Bridal today to shop for bridal party dresses for my BFFs upcoming wedding. Our consultant, Kelsey, was awesome. So pleasant and accommodating. She found us lots of sizes to try on, we are a bridal party of real bodies not sample sizes, so everyone had plenty of options. We walked out today with a color and style chosen and five happy bridesmaids!! 10/10 would recommend, ask for Kelsey if you can. Betsy herself even stopped in to our group and said hello. Gorgeous space on the second floor. Make this your first and probably last stop!

I had great experience with my consultant Gina! She encouraged me to try on anything that I wanted to, and was very helpful. My dress should be here in December, and I cant wait to see it!

I found my DREAM gown at Betsys with the help of consultant Ashley who was so fun spirited and energetic to work with. I cant wait for the dress to come in so that I can try it on all over again!

Betsy Robinsons is a beautiful salon with so many options for a bride-to-be to choose from at any budget. My consultant Katie was so sweet and patient even though I was all over the place with what type of style dress I was going for. I have been to a few other salons and this was by far my best experience. I ended up falling in love with THE dress and I cant wait for it to come in.

Want for my daughter to many platforms ( bridal parties going on at once, but they also have a nice bridesmaids selection.

I do not recommend this bridal salon to future brides to be. I purchased my wedding dress here and did not have a positive experience. Since I got married I have been a bridesmaid in 5 other weddings. My friends who asked me where I got my dress I told them not to go to Betsy Robison Bridal. However, to be fair the one thing I can say is that I did find a dress I loved within my $1500 budget. Having said that, they were snarky and did let it be known that my budget was on the very low end their store offered. Once I picked out a dress, made a down payment, and started measurements was when the trouble started. The woman who measured me told me that I was too big for their regular sizes and I would have to pay an extra 200 bucks for extra fabric. Just to give a reference I am 59 and wear a size 8. Pretty average, not huge. After the dress arrived at the store, it was so huge that they had to cut off a ton of fabric right of the bat on my first fitting. I had so many fittings and they charged me a fortune (hundreds of dollars) that I blew right past my dress budget. Again, you can find a much more competent staff than at Betsy Robinson Bridal Collection. I do not recommend anyone purchase their wedding dress at this store if they are looking for a good experience.

Im not sure how they teat the brides here, as Ive never had the experience. However, I can say that they treat the bridal party pretty terribly. The wedding Im in is in August and they called the bride at the end of March saying that we all had to order our dresses immediately that day or else theyd have to be rush orders. They could have warned the bride a little in advance in my opinion. So we all scrambled to get our measurements taken that day and put our orders in.I live in Arizona so they offered to ship my dress for me for an extra cost. When I ordered over the phone I paid that cost and asked them to ship it to my house. I dont know when my dress came in, but the bride went in to get her dress taken care of in middle of June and just happened to ask about the status of her bridesmaid dresses. They said that they had my dress at the store and I was supposed to have called them to confirm the shipping address. When I called (5 minutes after the bride told me this) they scolded me for not calling to confirm my shipping address sooner and said the bride should have told me when I got my dress in. Well, she didnt and I dont know why they couldnt have just called me directly if they didnt understand my instructions the first time. Were they just going to hold on to the dress indefinitely?? They were very rude about it over the phone.Like I said, maybe they treat their brides wonderfully and maybe their dresses are unbeatable, but they treat the wedding party like scum. For the ridiculous prices they charge (this bridesmaid dress is only $100 less than the designer bridal dress I wore for my own wedding!!) they should be treating me with some understanding and common courtesy instead of assuming Im a dummy who doesnt know how to use the phone.

Adorable shop, helpful employees, and a nice selection (especially if you go during a trunk show). They made me feel very special while shopping which was a nice treat. I have and will continue to recommend this shop to my engaged friends in the area.

I was helping my friend, the bride, shop for dresses. This location is in a nice setting and everyone gets their own private room. Our SA was very helpful and didnt push the product too hard like other places. She did provide us with alot of info and options. She was very informative and nice. I cant speak on their alterations, thats a whole other subject.

Even though I did not buy my wedding dress here, Betsey Robinson overall was a great experience. Rose could not have been nicer or more helpful. She was absolutely lovely! THe only downside was I thought their dress selection was somewhat limited. I would definitely recommend going here if you are in the Baltimore area.

I think the bride had a good experience here. At the fitting, the sales ladies were patient and helpful. BUT, after taking measurements from the bridesmaids, they told all of us to buy 2 sizes too big! Now we are stuck going elsewhere to pay for extensive alterations because they do not tailor bridesmaids dresses in-house (only wedding dresses). I dont recommend this place for bridesmaids dresses - mine was $175 and I definitely did not get great customer service for that price.

I found this bridal boutique online and saw they had a large variety of sample sizes from designers that I liked and was having a sample sale. I was planning my wedding in just 2 months time so I knew I needed to buy off rack. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by the owner and receptionist followed by my consultant. My consultant was a small spunky woman who talked fast with an accent - only providing this context to illustrate how fast EVERYTHING was moving. I’m not sure what I was expecting but in my head I thought we would sit down, a person would listen to my thoughts about what I wanted, take my measurements and then pull me dresses based on this information. We sat down for 1 minute, she asked a couple questions but didn’t seem to listen to my response because another question was queued and fired before I finished. I was then taken to the dress racks and told to look around. Ummm excuse me? I guess I wasn’t prepared for the TJMaxx experience at a bridal boutique. I looked and when I pulled nothing was my size. She pulled and that’s what we tried on. Let me insert I’m a size 12 on the street. I knew my dress size wouldn’t be a 12 after doing some research on the designers. Ok so I tried on a few dresses most too tight others too big. The dress I settled on was beautiful and too big. She assured me their tailor could accommodate. She grabbed the giant clips and provided me the perfect silhouette of my new wedding dress. I’m a busy executive and couldn’t afford the stress of continuous dress shopping nor did I have the time so I purchased the dress - all sales final. I also purchased a veil which I’m sure was grossly overpriced but looked beautiful. I was informed I would need to take my dress across the street to Lana. The owner provided comfort in saying Lana handles her alternations when her own shop can’t accommodate. Ok (I suppose). I take the dress over - it was placed in a cloth like dress bag with a broken zipper. Lana was great!!! and honest. When I tried on the dress her immediate response was “this dress is huge!” Now looking at it without the perfectly clipped silhouette it was very large. Lana worked her magic but at the end of the day you can only do so much without comprising the dress. My dress had an appliqué design on the front and she had to make sure the design stayed centered. She informed me she had done was all she could do and that she couldn’t get it any tighter. So it appears there is a such thing as a dress being too big - I think my consultant should have known that. It’s false advertising to clip a dress to the perfect silhouette and then make false promises that the tailor can achieve the clipped look. Another thing to point out is the cost to alter my dress was about 65% the cost of the dress. That was a shocking price tag. I think at the end of day in my consultants zeal and overall hyperactivity sold me a dress that got her a sale and I got a dress that almost fits which is heartbreaking for my big day.

I went in to the boutique the very first time and I found the dress of my dreams off the rack which was also on sale. Mine was the last appointment of the day but the consultant was super awesome and helped me with trying on different stuff. I really like the huge selections they have. I would totally recommend this place for the brides around Baltimore area.

They measured us and gave us the wrong sizes for the bridesmaid dress. All of the bridesmaids had to get alterations and the only two that looked decent in their dress paid over $100 on alterations. They advised the ride poorly about her dress. I would not recommend this place, it was horrible!!!

Overall my experience was good. I loved my dress, scheduling was easy, and staff was very nice. Alterations were also done well. However, I had sleeves put on my dress and the price came to 3x more than my quotes price. Additionally, the seamstress originally said she would just make sleeves out of the illusion mesh fabric and then together we would put the lace cutouts onto the sleeves and pin them at my next fitting. When I arrived to my next fitting, she had sewn the sleeves on, lace and all and I did not love the design but there was nothing I could do at that point. It was frustrating to pay 3x the expected price for something I barely had a say in and did not end up loving.

Best Bridal shop in all of Baltimore & surrounding areas! The service was excellent & the staff was very polite & not pushy. I went the weekend of a trunk show & it was very crowded. However, I was able to get the last appointment & even though my appointment ran over closing time, I was not pushed into a dress, rushed to make a decision or asked to leave. I have been to 4 shops before this one & this was the biggest, most elegant, well mannered, & under rated salon yet. My consultant I believe her name is Laura ( sweet pretty girl) was a guardian angel sent from Heaven. Though my budget was a slim one, she made sure she explored all options & avenues to getting dresses that me & my wallet loved. She helped me into every dress, provided beautiful belts to compliment. She tucked, pulled n pushed her little way into my heart lol. I was able to find the perfect dress that shapes me well & was on sample sale for $1005! I was very excited & I was even able to meet Betsy herself!! She was very polite, sweet & very honest. The service was soooo great instead of doing payments I purchased the dress & belt on the spot. Im only getting married once but if I ever need another dress for any formal occasion I will mosey on over to Betsy Robinson. Thank you for making me a Betsy Bride!!!

This is the best place to purchase your gown! I had been to about 5 different places, and my Aunt suggested that I visit. I already had the dress in mind that I wanted by the way. My mom and Aunt visited and Maria helped me find the perfect dress. She was never pushy or impatient. I am so excited to wear it next June. The quality of designers are not cheap or davids bridal like You will find One of a Kind dresses/designers there!

Totally underwhelming. Fitter was attentive to my daughter but didnt acknowledge anyone else in the entourage, some of whom flew great distances to be there for this once-in-a-lifetime experience. We booked a 90 minute appointment and she seemed like she was rushing to seal the deal so she could go get her double-decker cheeseburger. I cant tell you if I was impressed with their selection or not since they really arent interested in letting you try too many of them on. Nothing special and not worth the extra miles to get there.

I cant say enough about the truly incredible customer service at Besty! I wasnt overly excited about the dress shopping process but Ashley D. made it not only fun, but easy! Shes got an eye for what works with your body shape and genuinely seems to love helping you find the one.

Absolutely loved this place. Maria is amazing, and Betsy herself helped me with her final fitting. They went above and beyond with me and made my wedding day very special. They also did a great job with the alterations.

This bridal store lied to me last summer and totally showed dishonesty and thereby unprofessionalism at a frankly shocking level. I was talking to a friend who went there more recently and they had a bad experience, and it made me remember my own abusive experience there, so I decided to see if there was a place to write reviews to warn others. Buyer beware; their associates flat lie, either with or without the owners permission ( not sure which/or both). They promised one thing, .....got me in knee deep, and then flip flopped and did not keep their word. nefarious. not possible that something this simple, obvious and clearly stated by them could have been an honest mistake, misunderstanding or accident, that part is clear to me and perhaps the most surprising aspect of the whole thing. They were approached about it, and lied again. We gave up. We wanted the dress, bridesmaid dresses and accessories, so they got away with it. Never give up your leverage when working with this place, until you are sure they will not cheat you.... after they know you want their dress and you have no time to get another. get their promises specific and in writing EARLY, so they cant mess with you, because if they can lie to your face early on ( suck you into their store and through the appointment), ....and grab an extra 600.00, after they know you are hooked in emotionally, they WILL. Dont say you werent warned :) My mistake, your gain/wisdom:) Wish someone would have given me a heads up before they stole an extra 600. from me.

So many of the reviews on here are so negative, so Ill try my best to elaborate on my positive experience... I found my dream dress on the makers website (WToo), and Betsy Robinsons carried the maker. I called ahead to inquire, and they just happened to be having a trunk sale in a few weeks. They ordered the dress I wanted in the color I requested. I ended up loving the dress, and got a discount for purchasing it during the trunk show. All the women in the boutique were so sweet and complimentary when I tried on my dress and made me feel wonderful. I am a non-traditional bride with facial piercings and a half-sleeve tattoo (among others) and the women working in the shop were actually extremely flattering concerning my art. I did not feel judged whatsoever. I came in with just my fiancee to pick out my dress, so that made the process even easier without a full entourage. The woman helping us, Ashley, was the best! She worked with us the whole time, pulling dresses that fit my requests. She pulled accessories to complete the look of different dresses. The alterations process was really easy and Im so glad I went through them. I came in for two appointments. I had two different people assisting me, but it didnt appear to matter. I had what felt like a laundry list of little alterations that I really did need, but it ended up being very affordable (about $300) and very well done. They even suggested adding a layer underneath instead of hemming the dress as a money saving measure (which I did do.) The dress fit perfectly and looked great. Every visit that I made, the girls in front were also sweet. The ones who I saw more than once recognized me, and the ones I hadnt met recognized me for the dress I had purchased. They were all so nice! Overall, I am so pleased with my dress and what we paid.

This was actually the first bridal store that I liked anything enough to try it on...I did find THE dress (a little over my budget..but doable) and loved loved loved Mary, the lady that helped me in my search. At the first fitting, the seamstress was pushy & a little rude..and then I got the bill for alterations. Almost the price of the gown itself!! I was blown away. My dress is corset style, lace up in the back..typically it looks best when the top of it is 4-6 inches wides, and slims down to a nice looking bow at the bottom. Well Im convinced that they ordered a size too large ON PURPOSE because I havent gained/lost a pound since the dress was ordered, and my dress needed to be taken in 2 inches on each side to make the ribbon lay 4-5 inches apart. (way too big- thus making my alteration bill outrageous!) That was probably the biggest downfall to Betsy Robinson Bridal. We did enjoy the store much much more than any Davids Bridal type place, but I think that was credit to Mary, not the store. If youre on any kind of budget, Id go elsewhere because its sure to be blown out of the water at Betsy Robinson Bridal!

My first experience at Betsy Robinson was wonderful. I forget the consultant who found my dream dress. But she listened to every word I said. The sample is a size 10 and it fit me perfectly so thats the size they ordered me. I go back in September with one of my bridesmaids and the dress didnt fit. The dress wouldnt even go over my hips (fit & flare) they measured me and said my hips size went up 1/2 inch. I was pretty devastated they treated terribly. So I go back again in December plus I lost 8 pounds in less than 4 months. I put the dress on and it still didnt fit. The manager comes in and explains to me that the sample dress is stretched and that they should of gone up a size for me. I asked to try the sample on and it slides right on perfectly. They take the dress I purchased and measure the inseam and its a size 8! I couldnt believe it that the whole time they convinced me I had gained a lot of weight. Well they are not ordering me a new dress and said they can take out the seams for it to fit. I have my first fitting in a month and I am so nervous about it!I DO NOT recommend Betsy Robinson to anyone! I wish I would of got my dress somewhere else...its just terrible that I am going through this when buying your dream dress should be exciting fun and stress-free!

They have beautiful gowns, great customer service and very friendly staff.

The prices on the Wedding dresses are in line with other shops. Be sure to ask about the alteration cost, it can run into hundreds of dollars without a cap. Ask first or you may be paying more than expected.Service is excellent!

I had a very poor experience when looking at bridesmaid dresses. The attendant was little to no help and remarked her last day was soon approaching. My advise go here to get the dress and go to Bella Bridesmaids in Fells Point for the ladies.

I was not planning to come to Betsy Robinsons Bridal Collection since I live in Virginia and my family lives in Pennsylvania. However, I fell in love with Enzoanis designs and tried to search around for any upcoming trunk shows. The same weekendI was planning on wedding dress shopping with my family happened to be the same weekend as the Enzoani truck show. I dropped my appointments at other shops in order to make it, and I am so glad that I did. Regardless of the fact that my eyes were focused on Enzoani, their selections is very vast! I tried on a variety of gowns, and Allie, was very helpful in letting me browse the selection on my own and marking which ones Id want to try on. She was not pushy and made my experience feel very special. No surprise I ended up with an Enzoani gown, but it was a tough decision to decide between two. Allie was very sweet and helpful with trying to help me imagine myself in which gown and which one felt the most me. Now, I will be picking up my dress in a few weeks/picking out accessories and my veil, and I am so excited! The entire process has been one-of-a-kind. Betsy herself also stopped by while I was trying on gowns and sparked a conversation with me and my family. I would definitely recommend checking this shop out for all of your wedding needs!
