I cant recommend the BEAT School of Makeup Artistry enough! I have a number of degrees in different fields but Mrs. Roshé was the best instructor and the easiest to learn from. She left no questions unanswered and was extremely kind and patient. I learned so much and advise anyone looking to gain a ton of knowledge in the field to come join the BEAT School of Makeup Artistry! Oh, and not only that but Mrs. Roshé is a licensed esthetician so we also learned about skin types and which product go best with each. I believe this will be critical in order to achieve a successful makeup career. I cant thank Mrs. Roshé enough! Highly recommend!

I loooooove Beat School of Makeup Artistry. I am a Cometology Graduate that wanted to continue my education in Makeup. Granted I did take classes for Makeup while in Cosmetology, they were not nearly as in depth and exciting as Roshe made them. I honestly can’t remember why I was so scared of Makeup Application. The way she broke it down it was easy to retain and now it feels like second nature. I attended this school during the Corona pandemic, but that didn’t stop Roshe. I attended the part-time night class 40 hour program and let me just say, Mrs. Roshe was an amazing instructor. She taught us everything we needed to know as far as basic skincare, sanitation, and in-depth makeup artistry. She was also super nice, helpful, and gave us plenty of opportunities and resources so that we could further our experience/career in makeup artistry. Not to mention that the class was really fun and creative. I met some other great people (my classmates) along the way as well. Overall, I would definitely recommend everyone to take this class!Update 12/9/19: The B.E.A.T School of Makeup Artistry is truly amazing even after graduating. After graduating I immediately received opportunities to practice my makeup skills at events. I was offered an opportunity to participate in the Harvest of Hope event which gave me a great start in getting to know the experience of real-world makeup artistry. Literally 2 weeks after that event I was given a job referral by Ms. Roshe to work part-time for Macy’s Cosmetics department at Security Mall and instantly got a job interview and was accepted for the job on the spot. I’ve been working there for only about a month and I have already been offered a promotion to work full-time at a bigger Macy’s location thanks to connections with Ms. Roshe. She also helped me out by giving me a teacher recommendation for my application to Towson University! Taking this class has really started my cosmetic career off amazingly and prepared me for the industry I dreamed to work in. Again, I seriously recommend taking the class because it opens up a whole world of career advancement opportunities that you would have never found out about on your own!

I had the opportunity to attend the BEAT school of make up artistry. I was VERY pleased with the knowledge I gained once I graduated in just 3 weeks. I wanted to know the basics of make up. Anyone can paint someone’s face but I wanted learned the actual basic techniques of applying make up and that is exactly what I received. Ms. Roshe was a very patient and motivating teacher. The opportunities and resources that she gives in class and even after class are really useful.
