Coming into the gym as an adult having never done any sort of martial arts I was definitely intimidated. Each person I’ve interacted with -from coaches to members- have been incredibly friendly and seeking to help each other meet their own personal goals. I love it here and would definitely recommend to anyone interested!

When I began my jiu jitsu training I had zero experience. At the age of 38, I was apprehensive yet eager to learn. The professors at Teknica have helped me grow in the sport and develop skills I could have never imagined.I am grateful for the opportunity to train alongside a group of kind and familial lovers of the sport. Started at Tek in august 2017 and later suffered a knee injury while playing flag football about 5 months into training. I was able to return to training 2 years later and have felt extremely supported by the coaches and black belts since my return. They will work with you to accommodate any injuries or issues that you might think would prevent you from training. Overall best BJJ gym Iv ever been to with an excellent mix of high level training and a friendly atmosphere that is welcoming to beginners. This is a gym for everyone no matter what stage you are in your BJJ journey.

I had little to no previous training before coming across Teknica, saw a couple ads here and there, and decided to show up to a Saturday morning class when I saw the new year special on Instagram, to see what the hype was about. I was instantly greeted with smiles and open arms. Great schedule that truly gives anyone a chance to put in work whether you prefer Mornings, or Afternoons, Gi, or No-Gi. Everyone here is so helpful, patient, and more importantly, incredibly talented at both the art and teaching. With a wide range of techniques you can learn from Gi classes with Professor Renny, to No Gi classes with Professor Joshua, to Leg Lock Mini Seminars with Professor Melo, to even Saturday morning Q&A’s with Giann. I can go on and on with all of different things they have to offer or the fact the amount of knowledge to learn is unlimited, but it’s best for you to see for yourself! Been here for about 4 months now, and don’t see me ever stopping. Big Thank You to Teknica for welcoming me with open arms.

Teknica has been my favorite jiu jitsu school by far. The environment, instructors, and people who attend have been the most welcoming and encouraging for development. This is the place for personal growth and learning new skills. I only wish I had more time to spend here. Having experienced a handful of other gyms, this is my 10/10 recommendation.

I travel a lot for work and Im always dropping into different gyms around the country. I went to the early morning class taught by Renny and it was one of the best drop in experiences Ive had. Everyone was super welcoming and were awesome to train with. Renny is not only a great instructor, but hes also super chill and down to earth. Place has a really cool vibe, I definitely recommend it to anyone visiting or living in the area.

I have been attending this school for about 6 months. I lost 32 pounds while training here. The instructors here are top notch. Even the students here are great too! You will feel welcomed and you will get a great experience from instructors and the students. I have definitely learned alot while attending this school. For newcomers or for those with experience, this school is amazing for both.

I love love love this place! I am from Michigan and when I am in town I am always looking to grapple. They are so welcoming and the training is awesome! I learn advanced techniques yet feel comfortable and have a blast. Very clean, (important for us ladies) and its air conditioned or at least felt like it. Aside from the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes which are top notch; I take Personal Fitness classes. Carlos is an amazing coach! As a non athletic person hes helped me better my form and make sure I dont get hurt. Everyone works at their pace and we push each other to keep going. Great vibe with people who care about your success. I actually look forward to class now!

What can i say about Josh & Renny both professor are more than just that. Not only have they both been a mentors but they are my family. I have had the opportunity to train at Teknica facility, the atmosphere is a freindly and family environment. The location is clean, smells great, and i would say one of the top locations to train i have ever seen. I recommend professor renny and josh and the whole teknica team!

I’ve been grappling and training JiuJitsu most of my life and I highly recommend training at Teknica. Wether you are just starting out or already a high level grappler you will not be disappointed by the level of knowledge and instruction you will receive not only from the Professors Josh and Renny but from the others who train at the school. It’s a very welcoming family atmosphere and I’m always pleasantly surprised by the high level special guests who stop in to train.

Josh And Renny are superb Instructors and teach a very high level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Class. The crowd is friendly and pleasant and the training is tough and challenging as it should be. Great location with very nice amenities and women friendly atmosphere . Down the street from the expressway for fast and easy travels, this is one of the most convenient Martial Arts schools in south florida. Will Visit again and highly recommend it. In addition to the Bjj Classes, they do have a Muai Thai class and fitness classes.

Been training here since 2015, the training offered at this gym is as good as it gets. You have access to Muay Thai and BJJ classes that are 100% legitimate, zero time is wasted during class, and there are tons of different times you can choose to train (morning, night, etc). You also get access to a lot of highly skilled people that train here (tournament champions and veterans, fighters, etc).Teknica programs essentially offers and covers all of the fighting / self-defense skills you could possibly need. I have not met anyone that has regretted coming here, and there is no way you could leave here without learning something useful. Only realistic and applicable techniques are taught here, no frauds or scams! No B.S. Just real BJJ and Muay Thai.Training here is a great choice.
