HIS Cabinetry absolutely has the best quality, service, and reasonable prices. You name it, they can get it or make it. They have stock cabinets and custom built. Stock cabinets are all wood, no particle board. Thank you, John for your help designing my new kitchen. The measurements were spot on and everything fit easily. Our contractor appreciated the layouts you sent which made installation a breeze. Dianna was wonderful with coordinating the delivery. One set of doors weren’t right and one was slightly off color. She had someone out immediately to assess, and the problems were taken care of to perfection. They also have a huge selection of gorgeous back splash tiles that beat any of the big box stores. They communicated with me frequently throughout the entire process, kept on schedule, and it was a very smooth process from us gutting our kitchen to the final finish. Now if only my microwave would get here as efficiently as HIS got me my cabinets, my kitchen would be finished! Here are some before and after images of how their white, stock Shaker cabinets, Corian countertop, and Elysium backsplash turned an ugly 1970’s kitchen into a clean, modern functional kitchen. Thank you all so much! Best of all, I didn’t have to pay an exorbitant amount for a high quality kitchen. We price shopped at four other kitchen places and none had the same quality for the competitive price. I think I need to bake you cookies in my new kitchen!

Never in my 25 years in the cabinet business has any company even come close to performing at the level of this group. They are innovative responsible and honest. After just over a year after having HIS cabinets installed, we noticed in ALL bathrooms and in the kitchen the paint completely separating from many of the cabinets.HIS refuses to fix this since it has been over year even though this is clearly a faulty product.In ONE of FOUR bathrooms we had water overflow from the sink. This is not part of the complaint. The complaint is for the other THREE bathrooms and kitchen which have been completely separating from the wood. There is no justification on why EVERY bathroom and kitchen has issues with paint separating.We had this independently viewed by professional painters which every one of them stated that HIS did not prime/prep the cabinets properly. The paint simply is not adhered to the cabinets due to poor workmanship.Would not recommend.

HIS did a fabulous job on my cabinets and granite! They spent the time and effort to make sure all appliances fit correctly and everything was working. Beautiful!

HIS delivers! The quality of the cabinets is outstanding. I really enjoyed working with the sales executive Lois - she is great! If you have a chance to work with her, pick Lois. She helped design the most optimal solution for our kitchen and was super professional and nice during the process. The showroom is huge and beautiful and you will definitely find what you are looking for. The production of our kitchen was surprisingly quick and the support we received throughout the install process from Diana, who coordinated everything, was outstanding. I looked at about 19 companies and HIS truly was the best option and we are very happy with our gorgeous new kitchen.

Very happy with HIS. I had contacted about 6 other companies who wouldnt even return my inquiry about redoing cabinets in my master bath. I had a small job, but I submitted my inquiry and that day got a response and got things going. I had a very large and non-standard, linen closet/cabinet I wanted replaced. They gave me EXACTLY what I wanted, with even more shelves than I thought! They filled in a strange vanity space with beautiful drawers that make the space functional. Since I didnt want to pull a city permit for plumbing, there was no issue 100% customizing my project and putting the sink where it was before. I had a massive mirror that I did not want compensated, and they worked around it and it is still intact, which was the most important part of the project in my mind! It has turned out absolutely beautiful, the counter and sink was installed today. Highly recommend HIS, the communication is excellent and I would happily work with them again. Professional, set clear time frames, precise measurements, and I think the price was fair.

How lucky I was when I stopped into HIS Cabinetry without an appointment and met Beth Murray. Within days she was able to start the process for my new custom bathroom cabinets. I had a time constraint and everyone worked to make it happen. Every person was professional and wore masks during this trying time of a pandemic. WOW UNBELIEVABLY BEAUTIFUL. I LOVE IT!Those were the thoughts of my wife when she saw her new kitchen cabinets from HIS Cabinetry. Some months ago we had a plumbing leak that required us to get new cabinets. We contacted several cabinet companies for estimates. We had heard of the excellent reputation of HIS Cabinetry and decided to pay them a visit. To say that we were impressed with our visit would be an understatement. We were very much in awe with their showroom and the friendly reception we received. They took time to give us a tour and explain how all their cabinets and counter tops were constructed.A time was scheduled when they could come to our home and take measurements for the cabinets. John, the salesman, showed up on time and was very professional and efficient, making several return visits to make sure he understood what we were wanting. They were intent on fashioning and designing cabinets to our liking. Even Mr. Fritz, the owner, came by to offer suggestions for improvements. When we received the estimate, it was considerably less than what we had anticipated.After we signed the contract, a technician came with computerized technology to take measurements to insure that the cabinets would fit perfectly. We were given an approximate date as to when the cabinets would be ready. The staff kept us in the loop as to the progress, and the cabinets were delivered in timely fashion.We were impressed with the craftsmanship and expertise of the installer. He was very careful and precise in his work. If it didnt look just right to him, he continued working and adjusting until everything fit perfectly.When it came time for the granite counter top I assumed, since they had the measurements, they would just deliver and install it. But that is not what happened. They sent their technician back to take measurements and design a template to make sure everything fit perfectly. Again, delivery was made in a timely fashion and the installers did an excellent job.Everyone from the salesman, the ladies in the office, the technician and the installers were very professional and proficient. Without reservation, I give a 5 star plus rating and highly recommend HIS Cabinetry. An additional plus is that the cabinets were made in the USA!James and Betty Pike

Recently I had an issue on an older cabinet made by another vendor. After struggling with how best to salvage the broken but much needed cabinet, I brought it to HIS Cabinetry and Countertops. They took the time to get the cabinet back together for me and made it structurally sound once again. I want to thank the team at HIS Cabinetry for helping me out with this difficult situation. My wife and I purchased cabinets and countertop for our master bathroom. From the time we walked into the showroom the HIS folks made us feel like family/long lost friends. Our sales person John, was extremely patient as we went back and forth on cabinet/top selections dragging him from one end of the showroom to the other. :) Once selections were mad, we were kept informed on our timeline for install, one cant ask for better communication. Once the cabinet was ready for install, HIS again maintain phenomenal communication by communicating to me install dates and than following up after to make sure that we were happy.Thanks again to the HIS group for your dedication to the customer

I am a General Contractor. We used them on a two kitchen project. While installing the cabinets the installer scratched the brand new plank floors. They then blamed it on other trades working on the project. The problem with that was that all other trades left when they were installing so as not to be in each others way. I took pictures and called management and sent them to him. The reply was to tell me my project was a mess and that they have pictures proving that the scratches were caused when the appliances we installed. This was a blatant lie. The appliances were installed AFTER the cabinets were installed. My pictures that I sent them showed all the appliances still in the boxes. This conversation took and place on a Thursday and again on a Friday. The manager told me he had pictures showing the appliances installation was the problem. He did not know that I had pictures of the appliances still in the box while the scratches were already on the floor. I never heard back. However, on the following Monday he sent pictures of the two kitchens with the appliances installed with no proof the installation caused the floor damage. The real issues is that we did not install the appliances until Saturday. Therefore, HIS Cabinetry came into my project, which I own, and took pictures after they were completed with there install, without my permission! They literally, broke into my houses and took pictures without permission and then tried to pass this off as evidence even though the appliances were installed after they had install the cabinets. Furthermore, we had to adjust doors, and two of the handles were installed uneven. They were never willing to accept responsibility or work with me on the damages. Instead the manager cussed and me and hung up the phone. We have been in 18 years and do over $2 million in renovations a year. This is and was the worst kitchen cabinet company I have ever worked with. They are one of the worst trades companies I have ever worked with.UPDATE:HIS Cabinetry just posted a reply. It is a total contrast to the facts.The cabinets were installed with all of my appliances still in boxes. They left at the point on a Thursday. I inspected the site and saw the deep scratches in the brand new floors. I took pictures and called HIS Cabinetry. They said they had post install pictures and the scares were caused by us when we installed the appliances. The appliances were still in the boxes during this phone call. I was standing next them. So I asked him to send those pictures. He did not send his proof of the appliances being installed over to me for 3 days. I live out of town and I did not tell him I was in St Pete and standing on my property. My pictures ( see attached) show the appliances in boxes, and the cabinets installed, and scratches are all over the floor right near the installed cabinets. His pictures that arrived 3 days later depict the appliances installed. We did not install them until Friday and Saturday. My crew said that someone from HIS Cabinetry stopped by and took pictures. Therefore, more than one piece of evidence supports my claim of the appliance were not installed and that your company came to my property without permission. I would love to resolve this with HIS Cabinetry taking responsibility.

HIS did our kitchen backsplash. Right from the start, John T made us feel welcome. There was no pressure and even though this was just a backsplash install all the folks at HiS made us feel like this was their most important project. We would highly recommend HIS Cabinetry and we will definitely use them going forward!

13 years after a lovely kitchen renovation the seal on the undermounted sink came loose. The counter company who originally installed the sink and counter is no longer in business. I called around to find a company who could take care of the problem for me. I got two estimates from companies who were reviewed equally online. One was for $475. HIS gave me an estimate of $75 with the proviso that a complicated job would have additional costs. The HIS serviceman, Kevin, was knowledgeable, efficient, clean, and very professional. Best of all he remounted the sink and added supports for the $75 quoted. I could not ask for a better job.

We moved into our brand new home on 03/19. We paid for a 15 year upgrade protection on our counters. Right away, we noticed the marble was absorbing water which eventually started showing a discoloration around kitchen sink, kitchen counters, and parts of the bathroom counters. After contacting the builder several times, I was finally given the number for H. I. S. Cabinetry, who applied the product. After passing the blame on product provider, they finally sent a technician. Today, I received a call stating stains are not covered by warranty, which it doesnt even make sense because ours are not stains caused by us. This is not a wine stain or a paint stain! We use water and mild soap to clean and always wipe our sinks after using them. This is definitely an issue where the product was not applied correctly. This issue shouldve been addressed and fixed. I feel as we were taken advantage off and I will have to hire someone to clean and reseal! Very disappointed!

This company has wonderful product but lousy communication skills, with customers and between departments. They are good at finger pointing but not at solving problems.

After the first company we chose failed to order our cabinets then were told we would have to wait an additional 6 weeks we found HIS. They not only took our original design but custom mixed the stain we had originally picked out with the first company. They make the cabinets in St Petersburg not shipped in from somewhere else. When we happened to put a small scratch in one, 3 1/2 years later they were more than happy to mix us some stain that matched perfectly. This is great customer service when you buy locally. Highly recommend. Beautiful product!!

I honestly can’t believe some of the reviews. I suspect they are competitors trolling. Our experience with HIS, and our designer Lois was great. They did Not require full payment up front as one reviewer stated, and they were on time with their delivery as was quoted. Not everything was perfect, but when dealing with custom made, and delivery and install, there are going to be items that require addressing after the install. It’s called a punch list and all reputable builders have a process for dealing with said punch list items. We had a cabinet drawer damaged by the appliance installer and HIS fixed the cabinet no charge. Not to mention every item on our punch list was satisfactorily fixed before our final payment was made.

My husband went in to get an idea and start working with them, did not show pictures first just outlined what we wanted...WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN SOMETHING LIKE THAT was the answer. he was stunned...he showed them our kitchen pics and they felt bad, wanted to correct but who would want to do business with people like that???? I read a lot of older reviews here so make sure you take time reading those too!!!!

The sales lady snarled her nose and said why do you want a vanity that cant get wet?......Ummmm...... because its in a wet bathroom ?She had no idea what a wet bathroom is....so she thought I deserved to be made fun of ?A minority business that laughs at gay people ??

Excellent place for cabinets countertops having a home built very professional very good quality

HIS Cabinetry installed the granite countertops and sinks in our new home, 2014. I called them because the adhesive holding one of our bathroom, under-the-counter ceramic sink bowls released. Luckily, the bowl was partially supported by the drain plumbing underneath. HIS offered to repair the poorly installed bowl for $150 because their work is 3 years out of the warranty period. It was suggested I might have put too much water in the sink! It sounds like a racket to me. One has to assume cabinetry people know how to install sink bowls as there is really no way of knowing a problem like this is coming. Now Im looking forward to all of my sinks dropping. HIS Cabinetry has a problem in this area and is unwilling to do the right thing and repair what should last a long while.

Very disappointed. None of the installers want to listen to the customer. They do not even install as directed on the work order. They installed backsplashes in two bathrooms where the work order said no backsplashes. I brought this to their attention and the installer said they are free because of the error. Why did they have backsplashes with them? We had brought tile for the backsplashes to match the tub and shower. The kitchen counter top hangs over into the family room. The back of the top is unfinished. The top of dining area cabinet they had to cut the door trim to install the top. Looks ugly. The sales person said they have craftsmen. None here. Cabinet doors are not in alignment. They said the doors are too big to align. Excuse after excuse. Only now did I check with the BBB. They are rated F. We have sent complaints BBB, Consumer protection, the local licensing board- I can’t find a license for them as required. Contacted a lawyer.

No stars wasnt an option so I had to give them one. They quoted me one price and jacked it up. The original price of the cabinets mysteriously went up $300 and they added things to the contract without discussing them with us. And the things they added? Veneer to the side of the end cabinets. Are you telling me they didnt realize the cabinets that border the sink didnt end and need veneer? That is only one example of several things that appeared on my final contract. All told there was a discrepancy of over $1000 between their original sales contract and the one they asked me to sign when they delivered the cabinets. Beyond that, we signed the original sales contract on October 10th and was promised the work would be done by Thanksgiving. Today is January 29th, and the work is still not finished. And if it werent for me calling them every week to ask them if they were coming to finish the job, it probably wouldnt be as close to being finished as it is. Theyd say, Let me get back to you and another week would pass and Id call again and get the same response. I cant emphasize how much we regret our decision to use HIS Cabinets for the remodeling of our kitchen.

Poor customer service! They never had time for us......So dont waste your time with these people. Granite is poor quality--areas left unsealed where they had obviously clamped sink.

We used HIS for our entire house newly constructed. The design is beautiful and everyone that sees it is in awe but....the service is absolutely terrible. The original install was done starting April 30th and today is July 24th and we are about to move in. About 2-3 weeks ago I started asking when all the items we were still missing would be completed. We were missing a portion of backsplash, 5 slide out drawers and a few other things so this was not trivial punch list type items. It took my daily asking (and this is with holding back a retainage) to get any response at all. Then it becomes one guy for the cabinets and another for the granite. For the first 2 months of this nearly 3 month wait supposedly the salesperson was following up on these things. Thats a bad business model; he is busy selling to new customers as he should be. Meanwhile we are moving in tomorrow without a portion of backsplash in the laundry room and I was just informed today that there is no more material to match up to it. Maybe there would have been 3 months back who knows. Definitely cannot recommend this company. I really thought I would be as its custom built, locally owned but it just wasnt worth all the hassles. Use them if you have a lot of time on your hands to follow up.

We were told that our addition would be completed in a timely manner as I was pregnant and needed the room completed. Contractors would just not show up and the ones that did show up were a lot to be desired! The lack of workmanship resulted in our back room flooding and carpet, baseboards and everything had to be replaced! They did not even offer to put us up in a hotel for a few nights until they could get the dampness and mildew removed, mind you I was very pregnant. We were so disappointed in the owner as he just did not seem to care and very seldom did he check on the progress on the 625 square feet addition that we were paying him to do.. They messed up our floor plan and created the room in a way they we did not plan for not to mention they put French doors in that leaked and since then we had to have the entire frame replaced and sealed. Their workmanship was terrible! I came home one day with beer cans all over the back of my yard so they were drinking while working, Great huh. They almost put non mildew resistant drywall in our bathroom shower until my brother in law came over and brought it to our attention. I could go on with all the headaches and stress this company put on us but I think what I have said already should help you make your decision. I had to bring a newborn baby home to a house that was in disaray when we were promised that the addition would be complete. To this day I can not stand the addition and dont enjoy it because everytime I walk in there I cant help to think of all the problems we had to deal with. The company got paid but the quality of work Stunk and professional results were terrible.. Its been almost 8 years since we had this addition done and I am still left with bitter and very negative feelings towards this company. I highly reccomend you DO NOT do business with this company!!

My sink came loose the day before Thanksgiving after 13 months in the house. Centex washed their hands of it since it wasnt under warranty. However, HIS stood behind their work and came out within an hour and fixed it free of charge.
