It was a very fun experience in here.Im brand new to the hobby and the staff allowed me some time to browse and find my own comfort before approaching me. This was fantastic as Im not a fan of the welcome to our store barrage.Once I had shown interest in a product, a gentleman offered to demonstrate it to me and we had a great time gushing over the details and how it ran. He then used that time to offer me all the new-guy-tips, which I did need! He even showed me some cool memorabilia and established a very friendly rapport with me.I wound up picking up that grade A kit and had a phenomenal day at home with it!

Visited this Train Store on my vacation and walked out with a neat haul of Rolling Stocks. Loved their used/older model trains and amazed to see the Rolling Stock kits already fully assembled. Great service too! I definitely want to go back here again next time I visit Florida

There was a great product selection for my desired scale (HO). They have both new/lightly used item as well as some older/used items. Everything was reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and we’ll definitely be coming back!

More than a decade of wanting to start my own model railroad (growing up around my dads vintage collection) I now have the ability to do so. Being a newcomer I only knew of one other location in Tampa.Immediately when I entered Zitnik I was noticed and offered help. Howard who was busy stocking stopped to grab me a box, when I approached Gale she also stopped her work not only to explain some things to me but got up and showed me the differences between each item.From start to finish the experience was favorable. Rick, who rang me out, also shared some knowledge on the track I was debating on getting into. Locals know the place and you should too. It might be a little drive to get there but everyone who is a train hobby enthusiast must visit at least once.Chances are, your going to go again and again.

Great place for diecast, matchbox, Hot wheels, Johnny lighting, Majorette, NASCAR diecast, and much more! Prices are like buying off of Ebay but none of the shipping or extra fees!

900 miles to visit this place and live it. My 10 year old train nut lives looking around and finding just the right thing for his layout.

By far the best train store in the area or any area for that matter. The store is well stocked with O,HO,N gauge trains and accessories. If you are new into modeling and or trains you must stop by they are very knowledgable on every aspect of trains and modeling. The staff and the customers are very helpful and will point you in the right direction a great group of people all around. Workshop are also available and they are well versed in the overall modeling of layouts.

Did much research before getting back into model railroading, and found Zitnik Trains to have most everything I needed to get started on my son’s N scale DCC layout. They were very helpful, spending the best part of 90 minutes consulting with my list, finding exactly what I needed, and giving helpful suggestions. I might add that after researching prices online, Zitnik Trains almost always beat online retailers prices. I drive 90 minutes from Auberndale to shop here rather that buying my model railroading supplies online. That should speak volumes.

One time when I came to Zitnik, an employee let me control an O scale engine. I forgot what the engine was, but it was fun controlling the train. The place is incredible everything you could possibly need for trains every scale available and goes beyond just trains as well buildings for small cities different scales available as well + many many many more collectables.... one of the owners has a back room with just about every pops ever made as well as collectible Matchbox cars team t-shirts for baseball some jerseys just too much to possibly list

They have a large selection even in older scales you cant find. Lots of knowledge here in the model train hobby. There as good as Colonial Hobby in Orlando.

I really enjoy myself here everytime I walk in the door. Im a diecast car collector, so I go for that and scenery and mock buildings for dioramas. It is mostly for train enthusiasts, but they have a little bit of everything, and the employees are super nice, and very helpful. Great place for kids, and a great place to bring out the kid in anyone.

Top notch, Dave and his staff are excellent. Huge selection, skills, and honest. Dave took the time to educate me on my vintage grandparents trains. If you have or thinking of a xmas train set up, this is the place to go.

This is a great model railroad / trains shop! The folks there are super friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of cool items in stock, including paint, decals and detail parts (yay!). This shop is reminiscent of the classic hobby shops/train stores of my youth (Im 54 years old). Im very thankful they are here!

It was my first time in Zitnik Trains. The staff was helpful but not pushy by any means. I looked over each section of the store from Lionel O gauge to Z. After I got a feel for the store, I settled into my interest,N gauge. They have an large N gauge inventory from locomotives, diesel, rolling stock, structures & buildings and track. I liked the fact that they had both old and newitems of the inventory mentioned above.I purchased mostly used items including some mixed bundles of used track I needed.Upon cashing out, I spoke with one of the owners and she told me they will special order items and ship out once they come in.All in all it was a good experience.
