IKEA is still good. Clean. Not crowded. New design ideas. However the inventory is not so rich as before. A lot of out of stock tags in display. Same story with its restaurant. Hopefully things will come back to normal one day .

Will not recommend getting large furniture delivered. Movers had no intention on getting the furniture into my apartment. They were going to leave it outside. Luckily I offered them a hefty tip($100) then they put in the effort.

This place is so nice. The restaurant staff was sensitive to my special food needs and checked ingredients for me. The food was delicious. I had the plant based meatballs without the mashed potatoes and cream sauce and black tea. Many of the items I was looking for were not there...popular items or covid issues not sure. The customers super sweet as well. Whoevers husband that was, thank you. An employee also helped me load two items in my car.The showroom was beyond amazing the personal touches they are adding make the rooms seemed lived in.

Worst website Ive ever used. Continually asking me to change my zip code when Ive done it every time. Tried on 3 different devices to make the order happen even with customer service helping. Not worth the frustration anymore.

Great experience, walked in and was immediately able to obtain a $5 gift card just for having a IKEA family account. Had an online order we picked up without any delay after having an not so pleasent incident with the IKEA store in Columbus with their availability listings on the computer. So we were relieved at how smooth the store was run in Pittsburgh compared to Columbus. After receiving the pickup order we did some shopping and were pleasently pleased with our experience. Would definitely recommend and return to this store! Great job!

I simply love this store! Many inspiring displays and pleasantly helpful staff. The weekends are very busy so there were items unavailable. However, I was still able to find an alternative shelf that worked perfectly for my needs.

Please do not purchase a kitchen from ikea! When I ordered the kitchen all items were in stock, now 5 months later it finally was delivered with items missing that were oversold! Now I have to wait months longer until the item comes back in stock. Customer service then said sorry, thats too bad. I purchased from ikea because they promised an earlier delivery than other stores, and it turns out the other stores would have been earlier! Please shop for your kitchen elsewhere!

My husband and I are regular IKEA attenders and have gone to multiple locations. Unfortunately this was not one of my favorites, seem to be smaller than others and did not have a lot of things in stock when going down to the supply room. Additionally, a lot of furniture needed to be picked up across the street at a different furniture storage facility which was slightly inconvenient having to load your car and then drive and reload your car with the furniture that you purchased. Additionally, we have an electric car and electric parking was advertised. This was only a 120 V plug, charging your car to full in 90+ hours. Disappointing. Otherwise, great experience. We always love IKEA

Lovely store great service . Social guidelines were met . Plus everyone in the line were given bottles of water to drink . So lovely of them.Plus Ikea in pittsburgh has a whole vast variety of home goods. Some of the items we liked were out of stock plus they seemed a lil understaffed as we could not get help at a lot of places . But overall a great experience

Although I love Ikea, ordering online for curbside pick up was difficult. Not all items were available. I was given a pick up window time of 2:00-4:00. It was still not ready by 4:38, and they werent sure if they could find everything I ordered even though it was said to be in stock. I wouldnt mind if I didnt live so far away from the store and shipping wasnt so expensive. But the staff member was extremely kind and thoughtful!

First time here and it was an amazing experience. Will definitely go back. Very organized and clean.

Affordable new furniture and sundries with some Nordic style

I had a great experience both online an in store. Their showroom is just a nice place to browse through. And I ended up in buying lots of affordable necessities and decor.

It’s quite a small IKEA compared to what I’m used to, and probably half of the products were out of stock which kind of was annoying to me, but not that specific stores fault. We traveled 5 hours down here (closest one) and rented a U-Haul to get a bunch of stuff that online said was in stock, only to find out that they were not, and we barely got anything. What absolutely infuriated me is the fact that I saw TWO pets in the store. IKEA is NOT pet friendly. It’s illegal, yet as far as I could tell the staff didn’t care. One was trapped in a cart and the employees just looked at it and started baby talking it, and the other was walking in, running and pulling everywhere. Neither was a service animals. Why? Well 1.) service animals do NOT go in carts, there is no way a dog can task while trapped under products, and 2.) they do not pull everywhere on a flexi and distract the public. Having them there, especially the one on the ground pulling everywhere, is a huge distraction and danger to real service animals who have to focus on keeping their owner safe. They can’t do that with an untrained pet running up to them, barking, etc. it’s illegal for a reason- service animals are considered medical equipment under the law, not pets and have a huge job to do. We had a dog with us but brought him to a daycare not even 5 minutes down the road for less than $20. There was quite a few people not wearing masks, despite countless signs and announcements. Even a large number of staff weren’t wearing masks. The hand sanitizer was also slimy and smelled horrible, just bring your own unless you want sticky hands. Fortunately, they had several wheelchairs available for use just inside the entrance, ask a staff member if you can’t find them. They’re light and easy to push, which was awesome. Most places were accessible, although there were a lot of tight fits that any thicker of a wheelchair wouldn’t fit through. The individual show rooms had a bump to get over that was difficult for the front wheels, but the back wheels were at the almost perfect position to pop a wheelie in order to get over. They only had 1 shortcut on each floor, which made it difficult when I got dizzy and hungry and needed to head to the restaurant quickly for a drink. Some of the staff were a bit rude, and I had several of them stare at me while I was in the wheelchair, not even bothering to hide it. I was trying to get into the bathroom (which had the dryers turned off and no paper towel) by opening the heavy door with one hand and pushing myself through with other and a staff member came up behind me and just stared at me. She didn’t help, and didn’t leave, just stared at me watching me go through the door until I got through, then was still standing there and stared at me when I came out. Other than that it was ok, I always love IKEA I just wish it had more in stock. I get there’s a pandemic though and the big ship that delayed some deliveries, etc, so it’s not really their fault, just a warning. Some things said they were unavailable, some things didn’t and then we didn’t know until we got to the warehouse and searched for several minutes that it was out of stock. Our checkout person was awesome, he had the best personality. They also had some awesome rainbow bags in place of the regular blue ones, which was super cute. Pretty clean, showrooms were nice. Maybe we’ll come back after the pandemic, I’m sure it’ll be better then. Until then, just be cautious, mostly if you’re traveling far. And DONT bring your pets!!!!

Visited the IKEA in Charlotte, NC last week... over 20 years since my last visit. Home now, so went to our local IKEA in Robinson Twp., PA today. Disappointed in not being able to find the drill in the case, which were plentiful in Charlotte...😕. Did find a few things I liked... didnt need them, but the price was right, so I spent almost $75.... 🙄😀

Good inexpensive furniture and accessories everyone buys. What’s not too like? Is it just me - I always have ‘issues’ when I eat the cafeteria food. Maybe I’m allergic to something they use in preparation?

Came with a list of 10+ things, left with only 2 items because they are out of stock of probably 1/2 the store. Checked online for items to see if they were in stock at this location (which the IKEA app said they were indeed), but that was not the case when I arrived at the store. Additionally, I asked an employee working in the kitchen showroom for help finding something nearby and he seemed bothered by my question. This IKEA has never disappointed before, so hopefully in the future it won’t again.

While stock is limited during the pandemic. They still have a great selection of products. We even found a bathroom vanity that we couldnt find in a high end showroom.

Conveniently located with easy access and large parking lot. This location is one of the smallest IKEAs Ive seen and subsequently had very limited stock, though that might be exacerbated by the pandemic. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The kitchen/restaurant area was extremely loud and I was really surprised that the staff could stand to hear the high decibel beeping all day without murdering each other and everyone in a 5 yard radius. They deserve medals, but I hope someone higher up will see this and consider their sanity (as well as customers) and reduce the volume or apply a sound dampening treatment in the ceiling or something in the kitchen.

At this IKEA, I have purchased furniture such as bookcases and desks and home goods such as bath mats. The prices are very low compared to other furniture stores. Of course, I must assemble the furniture myself at home. A few years ago, I bought a couch here, and the couch began to fall apart after only months, so now I am careful about what I buy here. The store employees do a good job. Today the cashier was very nice and helpful. She explained how my IKEA Family club membership can save me money if a product goes on sale in the next few months, and she thanked me and wished me a great day.

We have just bought a new house and we were excited to go to ikea to find everything we needed to fill it up. Instead, what we found were few options and the items we did like were either out of stock or not located correctly in the warehouse. We intended to buy furniture for every room in the house however we left with only a dining room table and chairs. I am massively disappointed with the whole trip.

I normally would rate IKEA at a 5. Its IKEA. Unfortunately, our visit was a bit troubling. The condition of the bathrooms and Cafe was horrible. The bathrooms were filthy on the lower level gas station bathrooms filthy. The Cafe was very dirty. Tables were not wiped down, no one emptying the tray carts, just an overall mess. The one person we saw cleaning the tables, clearly did not want to be doing the job. I was very sad, we used to love coming here, but it will be a while before we come back.

Have purchased thousands of dollars for our home in the past 18 years. Sometimes when I walk through the store I think Im at home!Last week we asked 2 girls in the self checkout area if they could give a price check on an item and they told us to go stand in line at the other cashiers which we did. Only purchased one hand held item since most things are no longer priced and no staff are present on either level. The item we wanted listed the bin code but at the bin was a sign that should have been posted on the display item they were out

The worst store ever. Today I purchased some item and they promised to deliver tomorrow everything. Then in the evening I got an email that one of the products is out of stock. What the heck? They told me that everything is available so how come it becomes out of stock. Now I have to buy that thing again and pay an extra delivery cost. Why?

First time at an Ikea store

Maze like but full of inexpensive furniture, tools and knick knacks

Very quiet ikea, so its easy to roam and look for your favorite items and inspiration for your own projects. But inventory does seem to be weaker than most in the showroom. Warehouse has decent stock.

I always enjoy shopping at IKEA. Very attractive and upscale merchandise. Good food.

IKEA is always a very good place to pickup furnitures and stuff, and a great place eating a meal. The staffs are always helpful and polite. I like that the products are well organized and neat. However, this IKEA has a poor traffic flow and unclear direction signs, it takes some time to get on the right route.

Too much winding around to get where you want to go. they want you to go past all the merchandise. I have bad legs and they dont provide electric carts. Even there shortcut map takes a lot of walking. Someone put the wrong item on the product pick up bin now I have to wrestle with taking a big heavy box & exchanging it. Ironically the wrong item that I got is shown as out of stock. No wonder because it was in the wrong spot

Usually I love Ikea but the one in Pittsburgh has really went down hill. Their customer service is awful. There are way too few associates, no one knows the stock or can answer questions and most of them are not too pleasant. It’s as though they are doing you a favor and aren’t happy about it. And I get the stock is low in Covid times but this is the 4th time I drove out after checking the website which said they have something and they did not have it. And you cannot call the store to have them check. It’s really not worth coming out here!

Told me delivery could be between 9am to 9pm but I was told they would contact me the day before to schedule. Instead received email day of delivery for 10am-2pm when I would still be at work. Called to reschedule but they tried to deliver anyway. Spent 2 hrs holding and being redirected 4 times in attempt to reschedule. Finally last person said all the customer service supervisors were busy so I could leave my name and number and someone would call me back. Needless to say now 5 days later and have not received a callback. Be very careful shopping here. Lots of marketing with no customer service.

The management can be rude and the staff seems overworked. Staff are good people who work hard. They haven’t had many of the same items in stock for a year. Sometimes it’s the pandemic, sometimes it’s discontinued & there is no way to tell which.

Ive been trapped here for days looking for the exit, sleeping in the sets and scrounging for leftovers in the food court. We cannot get out. I hear... drums, drums in the deep. We cannot get out... Theyre breaching the doors. I fear this shall be my last entry. If this is message is ever found, just know that Ikea wood is not made to withstand being moved more than once after assembly nor can it hold out against goblin hoards. aarrrrgggghhhh....

A bit smaller than some IKEAs, but still great selection. Grocery section a bit lacking, but most popular items available.

This can be a difficult place to get around for a person with anxiety. There are arrows on the floor to guide you but it can feel never-ending. Beyond the endlessness it really is a great place to find awesome furniture. You can start upstairs and look around at the showroom or just head straight in to grab what you know you want. There is so much to look at and take in that if you dont go in with a plan you can and probably will spend quite a bit of time here.

Poor Ikea I am afraid it is dying. Wont go back. No product and terrible organized. Could not find a thing. Terrible food in cafe which I usually enjoy. Sad to see you go.

Usually really mellow during the weekdays, avoid busier weekends so you can maximize your distance from the people who cant be bothered to wear a mask properly . Otherwise youll be sharing space with tons of people with their masks half on or outright tucked outright pulled down.The biggest downside is they seem to be out of stock on a lot of items and their marketplace stock is awful right now, many display items are unable to be located or are sold out.The staff are really helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. Even ordering nuts and bolts that had been misplaced during a recent move.

The store is amazing, the only issue we had was picking up our stuff across the street. That part seemed slightly disorganized.

Best place for in home ideas and good food

A review of the womens restrooms. Four qualities excellent for mothers, namely, the baby seat in the accessible stall, a child height sink, a sturdy changing table not in a stall, and a diaper vending machine. One quality doubly not good for them, namely, the only available method of hand drying being Xcelerator hand dryers, which are extremely loud and unhygienic.

Their furniture is inexpensive. My wife and I bought a couch there and it lasted forever. You can actually buy a just the cushion and couch covers. They have the couch covers in a few different colors. We love them

Ikea is struggling to maintain their supply chain. Items listed as in stock may not be on the warehouse shelves and items out of stock can actually be found. Youll have to drive out and see.

I have used their kitchen cabinets for 2 projects so far and they are still looking great on both of them.

The only reason I couldnt give 5 stars today is 1) they were out of several things I went for and 2) my cashier. She told me she couldnt ring up an item because it didnt have a price on it. Before I could respond, she literally threw it into a box under her register, then proceeded to ring the rest of my order. First time ever for an employee to be anything but courteous. 👎

We were looking for mattresses and we found them! They were good prices for nice stuff! Only thing we found a worker who was annoyed with us cause we were going the wrong way at one point. But wed never been to an Ikea before so we didnt know. And it was VERY crowded. I felt like a sardine

Stop tear on the way to Cleveland coming from Roanoke West Virginia. We had a blast! So many different displays to look at for inspiration add some of our upcoming kitchen and bath renovations. It was fun for the kids as well to look and see all of the different accessories that make up my kitchen and being able toRead the tags. We had lunch here as well, cafeteria style, and it was very good. The pork sandwich was gigantic! And delicious :-)

IKEA is a great place to kill time. We brought our 2 year old daughter there just to walk around and she had a blast. She almost refused to leave and wouldnt get off of the floor which was a first for her. Its IKEA, what more can you say other than it is a great rainy day place to walk through with small kids!

Huge selection and great prices.

It’s an IKEA in the outskirts of Pittsburgh, which my friends and I drove nearly 2 hours to get to from our home in Northeast Ohio. When I was there it was busy but not jam-packed, everything was tidy and the employees as well as other shoppers were very respectful about COVID regulations. Found everything I was looking for without getting restless through the many sprawling departments. No complaints, no suggestions, and I will definitely coming back here again. Side note for Ohioans: driving here from the west means you don’t have to deal with driving through Pittsburgh’s tangled mess of bridges and highways.

This was so much fun! Perfect place for a couple friends to mess around. I wish there was more places around, but its fun for a visiting stationIts great. The atmosphere is fun! Though it is a tad annoying to have to buy a bag, but it wasnt crazy expensive. I got some stuffed animals for Christmas presents but thats it because my friends and I just wanted to mess around in Ikea.
