I love this store. The employees are so knowledgeable about everything in that store. Good prices and the friendliest people..

Very disappointing a bad business like this did not close down during the pandemic and so many good ones did. The store is always dirty the staff are always rude the prices are always bad.

They are always kind always helpful if you cant find something they will check all their stores and if they cant find the product Im looking for they are usually almost always able to get it from their warehouse. They are an incredible chain and I have yet to have a bad experience in over 20 years of going there.

An enormous selection of anything disc. CDs, DVD, gaming, etc. Was happy to see a place that still carried so much. Very helpful staff. Would love to come back and browse some more.

Love that they carry old school games too, Sega, Nintendo, atari, vinyls. You name it they probably have it.

The staff is always pleasant and helpful. They have a great selection cds dvds and memorabilia. I always spend more than I intended.

Guess maybe Im and old guy that still likes CDs. I love going here when I edit my collection... turn in some disused stuff, get store credit for new stuff. (cash payment available also, but I never use that option)

They have a really good selection of all the games for just about every system out. I thought some stuff for Wii was a bit overpriced and was hoping for a couple lower prices on Switch games too. All in all though, pretty decent little store

I loved the exchange since I was a kid. They never have what I want and the electronics I got from this one stopped working in a week. Not the stores fault they carried cheap headphones that I over paid for. Either way its a great place.

Let me preface this by saying I usually buy CDs at these locations. That being said, the supply of used CDs are droping at all of the stores in this chain that I have been to. Thats disappointing but I guess is to be expected. It does make me wonder if this is a choice by the company to move away from used music. This would be a mistake I believe, but it is probably just the way CDs are going to continue to become harder to find. As it is now, there are very few stores that have used CDs anymore. That being said the stores are invariably very clean and the employees are always helpful and courteous. You can almost always find a good deal on something fun! Still worth going, even if CDs are being phased out.

Its like walking down the childhood lane. We visited this place from out of state for the first time this weekend and it was a bless. Hopefully the business will be slowly back to normal once the Covid-19 is over. We bought couple of very cool toys for very reasonable prices. We were geeked! Friendly staff a big plus too.

The exchange is a place that should never go extinct. The exchange is literally the best place to find games, movies, and music both new and used. They always have the movies I am looking for and every worker I have met from an exchange has been informative and helpful. The only downside is that upstate NY only has places like GameStop and I can only go the the beloved exchange while in Pennsylvania. Maybe one day we shall be blessed with the biggest exchange of them all!

This Exchange is pretty cool. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Most importantly, theres so much to find here. Ive got so many cool games and music and movies from them at good prices. Now they even have special sales sometimes for even more value. The location is pretty convenient too; I always stop by when Im in the area.

Nice place. They ARE kinda pricey. I saw a copy of Super Mario Odyssey WITHOUT the case for $52 (obviously, used) and the new one WITH case for $60. Wheres the deal in that? LolI buy there, when I can. Theres not much else I can say.

Great place to go for all your gaming needs and I they dont have it they will order it from another store. Never had a problem with them except I bought all the guitar heroes and rock the 80s had guitar hero 1 in it still havent made it back to exchange it but Ill get there lol. Common mistake and I shouldve checked before I left so its my fault as well. I wont say Wich store and Im not giving out names of employees. Like I said, it happens 😊.

They have tons of games from Sega generation to current and they have a cool vinyl collection in the back of the store.

I had to do several exchanges because i didnt realize how age inappropriate they were...i had to go back a couple times..the 2 WOMEN i dealt with were super cool and helpful. Happy to spend my money there.

Ive been going there since Ive moved to the west end. Ive been going there since 2006. Its by far the best place in Pittsburgh. And I know this is coming from a 15 year old. And it has the best location. I mean its right by BURGER KING I hoe someone that works there reads this m.

Can always find what Im looking for..if not they will always check stock in their other locations. Wouldve given them 5 stars but sometimes certain associates seem a bit rude. Although its not very often.

Unfortunately the staff at this location is not educated on vintage electronics. Called in reference to to a Nintendo Super Scope for Super Nintendo and the staff had no clue what I was talking about. They insisted though they specialized in used electronics such as video games and movies. Clearly Im already aware of this or I wouldnt be calling you. Hire more knowledgeable staff and Ill change my review. For now visit GameMasters Realm in Ambridge Pa, they have way more knowledge in the video game industry then The Exchange.

Had a lot of variety. Prices are to high but i was able to find awesome things for my kids. I would recommend if your looking for used games or dvds. It saves money either way.

Great place to buy used media like CDs and DVDs, I visited four stores so far in the last 2 days, and finding lots of good stuff, because I believe in owning your music, not borrowing it!...

Found some great stuff, and the staff was very willing to help.

Used to love this mini chain called The Exchange, but it seems like they have pretty much fired all the employees who knew anything about music --- and seem to only have kids who dont know nothin, but then, they dont have to pay em much either.Speaking of pay em much, this store used to treat folks okay in cash for trades, --- anymore?? Id rather take them elsewhere. ------ Only trade here if you are desperate and dont want to get much value for your goods.

Worst store ever!! I called to make sure they had an HDMI cord first the ps4 they said they had them. We asked for them to put one aside for us they agreed. I get there and all of a sudden they dont have them in the store!! The lady forgot time see if they had them there.doesnt make sense

Use to be good, games like conkers priced way too high and they dont negotiate like other exchanges. Also trade in is always way lower, worth driving to robinson or Smithfield st.

Usually love this place but on this particular day not a very friendly staff and not helpful.

The poor review is for their exchange policies. I was given $7 store credit for something they turned around and priced at $125 the next day. When I confronted the employee about it he replied that sucks despite being the one who ripped me off the day before. I understand that you will not get what it is worth on a trade, but to blatantly rip off a regular customer like that is just very bad business.

Ive been going there for years. Good Selection Good prices and friendly helpful staff. If they dont have something in stock theyll look for it and contact you when it comes in. Ive had to return a few items over the years and it was never a problem. Ill keep going back.

The Exchange used to be a great store, anymore its a joke. The service is garbage, they watch you like Hawks, and the employees seem to think that theyre there for their own benefit, not for you. What a joke.

This is the best place I go for getting games oh my PS2 and for my PS3 and PS4 I love the selections and they prices they are very reasonable and very good customer service

They are terrible the change outrageous prices and refuse returns. I bought a ps4 and they charged me 45 dollars to return it but didn’t tell me until after I did the return process. This is the worst game store in Pittsburgh, and the staff were total aholes when I did the return. What ever happened to the customer is always right......garbage
