I like to visit different Habitat resale shops, Ive been a supporter of Habitat for Humanity since I was a young teenager. Im thrilled the shops are a success, they had some great stuff at this location. The guy working there could not or would not answer any of the questions that I asked, his responses were almost comical.
I got turned down for a washer/dryer set because of a little rust even though they both worked. We ended up walking in the front door instead and finding someone to take them for free within seconds (the first person we asked). You are a charity, how do you reject donations because you can be picky? I am done supporting this charity. There are plenty of people who would have gladly paid for this set, but I am glad that it went to someone who needed it instead of giving HFH anything.
I emailed Habitat for Humanity ReStore to ask if they would accept a donation of a nightstand, exercise rower, two end tables, and a mirror. They said yes to everything. They offered to use their truck to pick up these items from my home, but I decided to drive the items to the store myself. When I arrived outside the store, an employee answered the door, and he helped to move my items to inside the store. He gave me a donation receipt. I feel happy that my used items will be sold at an inexpensive price to another person rather than end up in a landfill.
Great little shop with TONS of merchandise.I didnt find what I was looking for, however:* I found a great new place to shop that I didnt know existed locally until we stopped by* Great variety to choose from (amazed at how well this small building can handle ever changing merchandise in an organized, clean, & well displayed manner!)* Very friendly staff who, 5 mins before closing, still let us in to quickly search for exactly what we were looking for and then very politely asked us to leave 5 mins after they closed with recommendations of when the best selection would be added for our return trip)
Great place, Great cause.
It can be helpful when you are doing remodeling. They got electric, plumbing supplies, furniture, door and many other things...
They misrepresented a exercise bike that I purchasedI paid delivery men to pick it up and deliver to my home I purchased a bike which they told me there was a cord when the delivery man delivered the bike there was no cord I called to ask about about the cord and was told that I only paid $25 for the bike and that I could get a cord on line when I explain that that’s not what I was told they were very dismissive so I told him thank you and have a nice day I will never ever recommend anyone to shop there for any electronic products!!!!!
Store is not big enough and dont like the late open hours but the people were friendly .
Great prices, super friendly service
Very friendly staff, amazing prices. Its also nice to reduce our consumerism and waste production by re-using.
Great selection of used furniture. great prices.
Super friendly staff. Everyone went above and beyond to help us find what we need and move it to our truck. There is a huge selection of furniture and home goods as well as tools, decorations, lightbulbs, etc. New used and unused stuff gets added all the time. I would recommend to everyone to visit. Everything is a reasonable price.
Always great people.
A great store managed and curated very well. Expect to find merchandise rotating through quickly with a good number of home decor, appliance and sometimes surprising items. We laid flooring in our entire attic after finding sheets of plywood on sale at a great price and they allowed us to rip the sheets in the back so we could fit them into our vehicle.
I love this store. Lets start with the people that work there, they are awsome! They make you feel welcome. They look at you like your rich, not like your economicly depressed. Everyone of them are kind and very helpful. Next you have new to old furniture, paints, outdoor or indoor everything. Too me this a real blessing I will never forget the sheer joy Ive received in the Swissvale Store.Thank very much.Sincerely,Mrs. Brenda Green(Widow)
Cool stuff. Covid clean
I love this place & all of the staff and volunteers! They always have high-quality furniture rotating in and out. They also have cheap area rugs and construction supplies.
The mixer was a great find.
Small but great for smaller things like hinges, knobs, hardware etc. Staff very friendly! Dont forget to bring your measurements with you ! Doors, sink fixtures, windows and more! Ill be going back again..
I go to the re-store quite often and find each experience an adventure as I never know what I will find there! If you have home projects, remodeling, or looking to furnish a room, this is the place I would go! They have soup to nuts and anything else you can think of - Each time you go, whether once a week or once a month - they always have something new and beyond reasonably priced. I just purchased to chairs for my living room and paid $20.00...you really need to visit this place!
I used to frequent the Edgewood Town Center location once a week. I was so excited to see they opened another location after this one closed. I finally had time to check it out today and it was extremely disappointing. The new location is a fraction of what the other store was, and a very small fraction at that. Needless to say it was a waste of time and I will not go out of my way to go there. Such a shame. Hopefully they will find a larger location soon.
Its always great to visit the store wearher Im giving or buying. The people are very nice
Wide selection of furniture and construction goods for all sorts of diy projects. Prices are great on a lot of the items.
Awesome place to get nick nacs and gently used furniture and really nice rugs
The employees were very polite and easy to talk to. The prices are very fair and some even negotiable. Thank you for what you do habitat.
Love this store.
Love this place, if you were looking to buy used and new stuff without hassle this is the place. Furnitures, Rugs, building hardware materials, appliances, paint, lights. They list all of the items in popular platforms like Facebook and Craigslist. They get truck loads every week. They sell appliances in good condition. I have bought a stove that was brand new for 120$. They give you a week warranty if something doesnt work as expected you can return otherwise theres no return policy if you dont like it. Most of items are Donated. Sometimes the left over from builders. The crew is really helpful. You can block an item for an hour over a phone call. The first 30 mins from the store open time they will not block to support in person purchase. I was running a bit late they were fine as long as you inform them ahead. Highly recommend this place.
New stuff every time. lots of fun to look for things to upcycle. great prices. proceeds go to habitat for humanity!
Thats great this store has great furniture and Construction Supplies The Best of Both Worlds.
My first visit I did not find what I was looking for but did not leave empty handed! Although inventory changes day to day, I hope the customer service does not. I have never seen anyone provide better customer service than what we (and those who were there today) received from Ryan. God bless you all for the work you do and the lives you touch!
A great place for cheap furniture and other household items. My only issue is their limited hours, but I realize that probably cant be helped as they are a volunteer organization.
Absolutely love this place! Great deals great cause...its a win win!
Lots that you have to sort through, dirty, prices average... Friendly Service 😀
Best place for quality used appliances at great prices.

I love this place. You never know what you are going to find.
Habitat for humanities one of the most the beautiful thing that ever happened to the the poor and black community where people are supplied your labor and benefited from having a home to stay because today the prices of homes are so expensive and the economic structure of the black community are the poor community is just not reaching the limits of whats todays world
