WONDERFUL!! If you travel anywhere near this area then a stop at Page Dairy Mart is worth the time. We happened to get there around 7PM and it was about two weeks before they close for Winter. The line was around the building and both parking lots were full. The flavor choices are outstanding and you can have cones dipped in several different coating. I will stop hear again on my next drive through this area.

I got the chocolate chip Sunday and it was huge! I honestly couldn’t finish it and I shared it with 2 other people. It was a little to sweet but you can always ask for them to make it less sweet. I would highly recommend coming here. They also have vegan options which is such a plus.

This is such a great place! The ice cream was delicious! I went on a weekday at around 5pm. I guess since it was dinner time, there wasn’t a huge line when I ordered. However, after getting my delicious ice cream, long line started to form. The line seemed to move pretty quickly. That said, this ice cream is worth every second you have to wait! The cookies in my sundae were fantastic! The ice cream itself was out of this world! I will definitely return very soon. It is well worth the wait!

One of the best ice cream places that I have visited.One star less for cash payment and the single use plastic cutlery. There is always a wait time of 30 mins or so in queue before you can order - only in person and only cash is accepted.They close at 10 and wont accept any sandwich or burger orders after 9:45 (only desserts) even though you just had to wait for long time before its your turn to order.

The soft-serve is always a go-to. Just be prepared you may wait in line for a bit and its cash only. 100% worth it though.

Changing to five stars. Use of various local specialty ingredients, like Nancy B’s cookies from Homestead, to build desserts around, makes this place very special. They also defy all modern conventions and encourage cyclists to get off the bike trail, walk through a hole in the fence, illegally cross the railroad tracks, and cross Rte 837 without a pedestrian crosswalk. And they successfully entice a bunch of NYT-reading cyclists to do this.

I actually thought they had various flavored soft serve in individual machines! They actually use vanilla or chocolate soft serve as a base and then mix in the different flavors. But its good.

Wow, best freaking ice cream experience Ive ever had and its not even close. I felt like a kid. We all were overjoyed with our orders. Even the simple soft serve cone was insanely good. This shop is a perfect combination of history, great service, interesting atmosphere, and great flavor. As we wrapped around the building, we kept changing our orders as we saw new things. Its cash only which sucks, but theres an ATM outside.

Excellent soft serve-I had coffee soft serve dipped in chocolate shell & my runnin’ buddy got a vanilla & chocolate twist dipped in chocolate shell, too-! It is a little inconvenient to get off Carson Street to get to, but the staff is great and the ice cream is superb. They were busy with a small line so we didnt wait long. We ordered small vanilla ice cream in a cup, a two sundaes and a cone with dip. The order was put together quickly and accurately. The young ladies working were friendly, attentive, and great at what they do. This place is a Pittsburgh landmark of sorts, and it is for good reason. If you havent been, it is worth the stop.

But Pages isnt just for ice cream! You can order an entire meal as well, but I tend to just go for the ice cream because if you order appropriately, then thats a whole meal!My favorites at Pages include the Smores arctic swirl and the Burnt Almond Raspberry Torte sundae. Honestly, its really difficult to make me change my order!Pro Tip: Bring cash and a few small bills to tip!Extra Pro Tip: After you order, step away from the window to the side because theyll keep taking orders, and keep an eye out for the individual that took your order.

Ive gone here twice and the first time I went I ordered the mango soft serve and it tasted nothing like mango and the second time I went I ordered the peach soft serve, it tasted nothing like peach either but it had the scent of fresh peaches, I love the fries since they are perfectly seasoned and I love how quickly the employees work to get peoples orders and to get their food out.

A great place to get a treat. While the prices are a bit on the high side, they have a great selection of just about every icecream combination that one could imagine. A small chocolate covered cone was just under $3. They also have a limited fast food menu which includes hamburgers. Be sure to take cash as they dont accept credit cards.

This thing was sooo good.I love how a lot of their ice cream items partner with local pittsburgh bakeries for items in it. For example, the Yinzer Sundae uses blondie bars from Pastries a la Carte.They also had a ton of different soft serve flavors, so im for sure going to come back to try out the mint and coffee soft serve :)

Pages Dairy Mart is a local top fave for sure!! In previous years I have always ordered a turtle sundae and added brownies. This year, the turtle sundae delight was added to the menu. However my taste buds were quite disappointed in the new brownie recipe. Very disappointed, actually. Im unsure if they changed vendors, if the vendor tried a new recipe or what but the brownie was not good, at all. It was nothing near the rich brownie Ive grown accustomed to over the years. When I go back I will have to find a new favorite because the brownies are no longer the same...

Must visit for anyone coming to pittsburgh, for some traditional pittsburgh icecream that has been around for decades. Be prepared to wait in line, as its always packed, specially at night, but the time really goes by when youre with someone, as you talk, read the menu, read about the history of the place itself. The main road leads you to the night life of Pittsburgh (south side), where you can see a lot of good, crazy, and dumb stuff

What a wonderful place. And it is easily accessible from the GAP trail. There is a cut in the fence right by one of those Baldwin borough signs. Cross some train tracks and you are there. When blueberries are in season get the blueberry ice cream. Otherwise I recommend the Nancy Bs cookie sundae. It is considered healthy I think...
