Holy vinyls its musical overload. Spent more then we talked about on music. But certainly not because of prices. Most records we found $6-8 and in great condition. Definitely going back but this time with a list and sticking to it.

The store was clean and arranged nicely. I went in looking for a new set of quality headphones. I went in to the store, wasnt greeted or asked what if I needed help, looked around and saw a headset wall that had maybe 4-6 sets to be able to try but none to buy, then walked out.I had entered the store looking for information and hopefully to make a purchase of a DAC, amp, and quality set of headphones, but found myself having to turn to the internet for additional research and as much as I wanted to support a local small business, ultimately made a purchase on Amazon instead.To be clear, the gentleman at the front desk looked like he was busy doing inventory. I docked 1 star for a lack of headphone inventory and information, and the second for not having guidance/advice in making a significant purchase.

Great Place for Music Lovers, Tons of Vinyl Albums and 45s NEW and Used, CDs, and HIGH End Audio Equipment. Youll need an afternoon to even scratch the surface. And all is organized for easy finding.

Amazing store very clean and organized. Prices are good for used vinyl. This will be my new main stop for expanding my collection.

Very well organized, good selection and prices seemed fair. Would have liked to browse more but I found it very hard to not be put off by the employee blatantly following me around the store staring at me like I was about to pull off a heist the likes of which have not been seen since the days of John Dillinger.

I visited today to purchase an upgraded cartridge for my Rega turntable. Everyone who works here from Mark the owner to the entire staff know audio / home theater inside and out . Tell them what you’re interested in and they will recommend the best product for the amount that you want to spend . Its great to have a brick and mortar audio store like this in Pittsburgh . In addition they have an outstanding selection of both vinyl and CDs new and preowned for sale five stars highly recommended!

Picked up some speakers from Mark at a very fair price from Northern Audio located upstairs. Also, Kelly is a cool dude that definitely knows his stuff with vinyl and turntables. A great hidden gem of a place that I never knew was there. Very cool, laid back people. My kind of place.

Clean, well organized store. Most vinyl inventory bus classic rock. I did find a Thin Lizzy, Krokus and UFO. Reasonable prices, friendly staff that offered me a 20% discount. Fantastic record store plus they have tons of turntables and speakers.

Best vinyl selection and prices, in town or online. This is true for both high-quality new records and their used offerings. Ive also bough gear here in the past, and been delighted with my purchases.

Before you go, it’s mostly a rock music collection. But that’s beside the point. Cheap used prices, average new prices. Great staff (they don’t bug you!)

The people that work there are helpful and knowledgeable, they have a great music and stereo component selection, and very good prices. They also give more for music you want to sell or trade (albums,cds,cassettes). Cant say enough good about this place!

Record stores still exist! Impressively large collection of old records, as well as the record players and systems youll need to listen to them. A blast from the past.

Oh my. The selection, the staff, and the prices are all fantastic. The prices beat EBay by a mile and the quality also is top-notch. I got a couple LPs there for under $10 each and am very satisfied. Could have spent the day.

This store is fantastic! Mark and everyone was very helpful. There is no other place like Music to my ear. They carry the best equipment brands from speakers to headphones, tubes and dacs. Save yourself some time and headache.. just go there, find what you like, buy it and enjoy!

Great place for vinyl but they also carry all the MOFI and Analogue productions audiophile 45 pressings AND get UGQR discs. No one else Carries these in store so if you have a high end system, this is the place to match it with high end albums.

The place was unbelievable, they have so many records you would not be live and the place is so nice the guy I met, Paul was a great gentleman and very knowledgeable on records, so if you are looking for a vintage record this is the place to go.

I received pretty fair prices on an old collection of vinyl. They seemed to have a nice record collection as well, though I wasnt there to buy.

Speaker and headphone selection is a bit subpar, but thats on the back burner for their record collection. It is a record store, after all. That being said, they have an upstairs showroom that has some decent selections for upscale audio equipment (KEF LS50Ws, for example). They seem to rely lean on their Goldenear speaker selection (they have the Triton line) as well as KLH. Havent yet been impressed with the former. Me and a buddy picked up a pair of ELAC B6s for $120, which was a great deal considering Kerry hooked them up to a cd player and gave us a large cd selection for us to test the speakers.Great place and people.

Wonderful variety of classic records at a very reasonable price. They wont charge an arm and a leg for a copy of something just because its well known like other records stores.
