I dont know if Im more upset that I didnt discover this store til now, or upset that now Ill always know its here to tempt me. Rockler has all the supplies, tools, and materials I thought I could only find online. They offer classes and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I only stopped in and grabbed a project scrap, but Tom was super helpful and friendly to me. Ill be back soon.

In a word, TOTALLY AWESOME, okay in two words.I think you would be able to find anything you need for any woodworking project, or cabinet repair.The selection of tools is incredible, the quality underpassed.The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Great store at Robinson Town Center. Miss the location on Ross Twp, but still worth the trip. Much bigger, and more merchandise. They always have what I need. Very helpful. Associates are not pushy to make a sale. Love that they will provide you with a demo of a piece of equipment that you are interested in purchasing.

Seems like this place is closed more than it’s open. With the internet shopping being what it is I’m not sure why I waste my time. Not like they’re offering incredible pricing or anything…see ya Rockler hello internet next day shipping

Did some recon for a possible future endeavor. Found the supplies and prices on some pieces that i had purchased recently at a big box store to be very competitive. The Staff was helpful and willing to help.

I love Rocker stores. They are clean and the employees are all well versed with every product. They give honest reviews and sound advice.The prices seem steep but nothing there is junk. Youre buying quality and must consider purchases as investments. You want a one time tool for cheap go somewhere else. If you want a powerful tool that gives clean cuts and consistent work, buy here.Talk to the manager Vince. Hes great and helped me out a lot.

New to woodworking, Im mostly interested in handtools. I went in initially looking for a particular log splitting tool. I walked around the store for maybe 10 minutes, seeing what they had, and had no luck finding it. I was completely ignored by the multiple staff standing around chatting with other customers, likely because I am female. Only once I stood in the checkout line empty-handed and asked them was I helped. (they didnt have the tool either.)

Good place for higher end woodworking jigs and hand tools. I usually can get pretty good advice and customer service. They have a pretty good selection of cabinet hardware and hinges as well.

If you like tools for woodworking, you will think youve died and gone to heaven when you walk in the door. They have a huge selection of equipment to set up your dream workshop, including tables, dust collection, safety tools, and paints, stains, and varnish. They carry a supply of exotic wood and have an impressive set of instruction books.Im holding back on the fifth star because their tools are mostly for FINE projects. You wont find axes, adzes, or more heavy duty tools. Also, Ive had mixed experiences with the knowledge of the staff. I would expect they all would know where to locate items in their flyer.

Staff was awesome and knowledgeable. the store was clean and neat.only 1 minor problem: many small pieces of wood have prices on them clearly labled... and others do not... this creates a misleading situation when you grab a piece of wood that is next to the $4.99 pieces and at checkout its 19.95. do that with 5 pieces and instead of a $25 bill your at $100... (annoying. jeez, just put a price on it, its already got a sticker. )I would like to see management address that. otherwise would have been a 5 star rating.

Staff very helpful. However, there are many products that woodworkers need that are not carried by Rockler, especially in terms of hand tools.

Rockler is a store of expensive high precision tools and some very expensive wood. It is a store for rich woodworking hobbyests. If you actually make your living as a wood worker you probably could not afford those tools, and you would go to a mill to get your materials.

Wood workers will find what they need. Nice selection of wood.

Its the little big box store of woodworking. Prices are a bit high on some items, but unless you really know where to look and are willing to make multiple stops, Rocklers the one stop shop.

Stood in the store for 14 minutes while three employees just sat there. NO ONE came to assist or ask if they could help. I was looking for a dust collection system. I guess I wont be buying it from Rockler in Pittsburgh.

Plenty of very high quality products but good luck getting someone to help. I was in the store for over a half hour and nobody offered help. Ive spent well over 2 grand in this store this year and the service is horrible.
