Great little spot for outside drinks on a nice day. I enjoyed sampling the alcohol. Especially the honey spiced rum, the apple whiskey and the ginger flavored liquor. They have a nice inventive cocktail list and play live music in the evenings

My husband and I took a tour here and had a blast. Our tour guide was so outgoing and made it interesting. We got to sample 5-6 samples plus try one of their signature drinks. They have a nice outdoor seating area that is dog friendly. Great place to visit during a hit summer day. I definitely recommend doing a tour. Great history.

Surprisingly hip place with tons of events. The outside patio was as amazing as the drinks. Gaucho was the food truck on the day I went so that was an added bonus! Definitely should be on your summer bucket list. 🌞

Awesome little bar and outdoor space they have here. Was attending for the private screening of a movie but will definitely be back to have a few drinks during normal hours.

Excellent mixed drink choices though slightly overpriced. The atmosphere is fitting for Pittsburgh and made me feel at home, the dog friendly nature of the establishment was a big bonus!

Nice bright building with quaint outdoor area. I got the Cinnamon Toast Punch which was excellent! My husband ordered an Old Fashioned - one of the classic cocktails Wigle refers to regularly - and the bartender had to Google it to make it and unfortunately it did not turn out well. They replaced the drink for free which we absolutely appreciated... However, my husband ordered a Mint Julep and it was an entirely different color and taste than the Mint Julep our other friend ordered just moments before. We have always enjoyed the main Wigle location and hope the drink consistency will continue to improve at the Barrelhouse.

A beautiful space with an amazing staff. Everyone is really knowledgeable and helpful. They make finding a new favorite drink really easy. This was their first summer open, Im excited to see all of the events and stuff they have there going forward!

Visited here for the music festival that was using this location for the show. Awesome small garden. Would love to visit just for the vibes of the place sometime.

Went to the Barrel House for a networking event and the staff was awesome and helpful! The team is really active in the local community and non-profits, which is super refreshing.The craft whiskeys also taste amazing and I am patiently waiting for their next release of their bourbon.Also got an informative tour about the history of the distillery and the aging process. Had a ton of fun and definitely will be back soon.

Wigle has the best local distilled Pennsylvania Rye. You can also sample several other spirits that they offer. Which are also exceptionally good. You can try samples of their spirits before purchasing or have them make you a cocktail. The people are always helpful & knowledgeable of not only Wigle products but local history.

We had been to the distillery in the strip district, so we stopped here. No food. Limited seating inside. It was a sunny hot day and we sat outside. Otherwise, we wouldnt have stopped. Very limited parking.

Staff is great! Very friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable! Mixed drinks are flavorful and well-crafted. Some really awesome whiskeys and bourbons coming down the pike. Be aware - the barrelhouse is not climate-controlled, so dress appropriately for the weather.

I was actually very underwhelmed by the finished products I sampled, although the ideas behind em are good.If they would just spend a little more time and energy on fully refining the product before bottling then I think we will have an excellent Distillery right here in the city of Pittsburgh. But for right now, the alcohol taste really out ways everything else and whatever concoction you are trying to drink. Just a shade better than bad moonshine.

The venue is mostly outdoors with live entertainment and is dog friendly. Parking is a bit of an issue, you just have to be creative. As for wigles products, they have an extensive line of amazing whiskeys, Bourbons, etc. You really should have a DD.

Great spirits, fun atmosphere and there is usually live music. I cannot recommend the tour highly enough. There is plenty of parking down at their ciderhouse which is not too far of a walk (and also a must visit)

Its a nice spot for sure. But, Ive unfortunately never enjoyed their cocktails much. They tend to be too sweet. However, they do serve beer on tap, so thats good.

I visit Pittsburgh frequently with my wife and usually some friends. Our last trip was the first time we checked out the Wigle Whiskey garden and I was thoroughly impressed. We always visit breweries, wineries and distilleries and this was definitely my favorite one yet. We were greeted by an extremely friendly gentleman ( I wish I could remember his name) who gave us the history of what Wigle was about, which made the experience all the more great. I love how they gave the place a contemporary feel, which added to the experience since I usually think of a distillery as old or antique in design. Even if their whiskey was terrible I feel like I would have still bought some just based on the incredible experience I had. However, that was not the case and their whiskey is amazing. They have a multitude of flavors that would excite any pallet, and I will certainly be returning there for more. I highly recommend this place, and it is a must see for anyone who visits Pittsburgh.

Wigles barrel house is always an enjoyable time. It has a laid-back atmosphere and wonderful outdoor seating. Occasionally there will be a food truck or live band playing as well. The only downside is it is hard to find parking.

Always a fun time, with great staff and interesting food trucks. The only drawback is how early they close - because they are a working site, and the distillery crew starts third shift.

This was my first time there it was a little scary getting to the neighborhood but once I was there of the lights were good the music was superb with Marc regimen and the band and I even tried some whiskey it was special it is mint it was great and it made me smile

A super chill place with board games and tonight they had Spork Pit Food Truck which was OUTSTANDING. Pets encouraged but must stay in the Whiskey Garden. :)

Awesome space. Parking can be rough but if you dont mind walking its not too big a deal. As with anything Wigle does, its quality.

Learn the history of whiskey and get to taste what they are working on, during their tour. And get one of the cocktails in whiskey garden they are unique and delicious.

This place is great, they always have events and music going on. Drinks are superb. They have an outdoor area with oversized Jenga and cornhole. Distillery tour is worth it. However due to the location parking may be difficult.

Not only is the place itself super chill (and dog-friendly), the drinks are great too. The cocktail selection is perfect, they have beer on tap, and you can even sample any of their liquor. My fav is definitely the barrel rested ginever. Also, my server, Maranda, was great!

I have been a big fan of the Strip District location for a while now and now can add the Barrelhouse as a regular stop. The setting is very relaxing with great cocktails and a good selection of food trucks on the weekend.

This is a really nice outdoor spot with a simple stage. Similar to the setup of Bayardstown, though a little smaller and newer.

I wanted to like this place more than I did. Its a nice outdoor space but get here early because seating fills up quickly.Their spirits are all good, but their cocktails were disappointing. Their take on classic cocktails like a mojito, dark & stormy and others are flat out bad. For their mojito they use honey instead of cane sugar or simple syrup to sweeten it. You wouldnt think it would make that big of a difference, but it really does. The mojito also seemed to have almost no carbonation and lacked much rum or mint flavor. It was a similar story for people who got the dark & stormy. Ive also tried different cocktails at their distillery in the strip district and those were disappointing as well.The positive is that it is a nice outdoor space with corn hole and live music. Their spirits themselves are actually very good (especially the gin and the whiskey aged in tequila barrels) .However, its in an isolated location with limited parking and not much else in the immediate area. I like the idea of what it could be but the drinks were so bad that I likely wont return.
