Very disappointed. Drove 45 minutes to take my 91 year old mother to get shoes. We had Kathy. The first problem was that she wanted to give us insurance papers to take to the doctor to fill out and then come back after they were filled out. I told her that even if insurance didnt pay for the shoes, my mother needed comfortable shoes that she could walk in and we would pay for them. I basically had to demand that she try shoes on my mother while we were there because we drove 45 minutes to get there. She only tried a few shoes on, but one felt good on my mother. I again said that even if insurance didnt pay we would be buying the shoes. I took the papers to my mothers doctor for him to fill out and he sent them back to Kathy. After not hearing from her for 3 weeks I called the store. That was the second problem that I had. She said that she didnt think insurance would pay for the shoes because of how the papers were filled out. I told her again that if insurance didnt pay, we would pay. I asked her why she didnt call to tell us that and she said she did call one time on myth. I told her we never got the call and why would she not call back again knowing we wanted the shoes. My mother went over three weeks waiting for those shoes to be ordered and they were never ordered. Thats a terrible way to do business especially when dealing with a 91 year old woman. I had read a negative review by Kathy and thought about asking for a different employee but I thought she deserved the benefit of the doubt. Im so sorry that I wasted time and going all the way there and subjecting my mother to that.
He provided excellent education and attention extremely happy to have had my orthotics made there.
Excellent staff with the education and experience needed!
I’m so happy with my custom made orthotics, and if they need adjusted they are more than happy to accommodate. I’m so impressed with the customer service and how this business treats people. During the pandemic, they are making sure everyone is safe by following all the guidelines and explaining what to expect before you even come for your appointment. It’s difficult for small business right now, and this one deserves our support.
I have one leg shorter than the other and upon moving to Pittsburgh my orthopedic doctor immediately recommended Colazzi Pedortthic and Im so glad he did. They do a great job putting a lift on my shoe but not only that- they have been able to do it on more shoes than my previous provider and at a much more reasonable price. They are creative and hard working- eager to provide the client with whatever they need. Everyone Ive interacted with in the office has been warm and kind. I cant recommend them enough.
Took my birkinstocks to have the soles reglued. They did a wonderful job! Thank you
I traveled about an 1-1/2 hour to get there, really as an interview on my part to see if they could help me in the future. They were helpful to me. The bad part is that they dont return phone calls. The follow-up is terrible. Were trying to see if my insurance will cover another pair of orthotics since I got a pair from another place that wasnt suitable and that place made no attempt to make them better. Customer service is everything in business. There is never any reason not to return a phone call. We are trying to support the business.
Antiquated. did not support the product they sold me when it fell apart. unhelpful. would have been better off just ordering from Amazon. inflated price. charged my insurance 650, and told me they wouldnt charge me more than $300 if my insurance didnt cover the boot. i went to the manufacturer website and Amazon and both had it cheaper than what they charged me. they lost my payment check that was sent directly from the bank (for the faulty and overpriced product) then sent me a nasty letter threatening me with collections. and the inserts they made for me are painful and too big for my shoes. the ladys response was buy bigger shoes. do not patronize this place.
Im sure this would not be in business if the only person selling was a lady named Kathy I think. She is condescending, ignorant and does not have any redeemable qualities. I needed custom shoes, she showed me inserts. I told her that I wanted custom shoes made. She barked at me, These are the only inserts that social security will pay for. She totally missed the point. I DID NOT WANT SOCIAL SECURITY TO PAY FOR NEEDED CUSTOM SHOES. I left instantly and will never return. She has no place in a retail establishment
I drive an hour to come to Colaizzi to have my orthotics made and serviced. They came highly recommended and have been amazing the past few years I have been going.
Great service. They have helped my wife many times with re-soling her shoes. Very friendly family like service.
