My boyfriend needed a tuxedo for a formal event. We went to Top Hat Tuxedo on a Saturday afternoon. In spite of staff shortages, we were greeted immediately when we arrived. The staff member who waited on us took very good care of us and found the perfect tux. The fitting was perfect. When he picked it up, there was an adjustment made to the fitting and it was made while he waited. He was very comfortable at our event and got many compliments on his attire. We were very pleased.
I had a good experience with this place many years ago for a prom so I figured I would get my wedding party suits here. My initial appointment was rescheduled 3 times. At the time I didn’t think much of it since they provided plausible excuses such as “it’s prom season” and “your wedding is further out so we have time”. When we finally came in and got measured everything seemed fine. We were told to come in a few days before the wedding for final measurements. I scheduled an appointment for this despite being told I didn’t need one and was then called the day before I come in telling me I need an appointment. After settling that, we came in for our appointment at 6 and we’re taken two hours later, so I am unsure why we needed an appointment to start with. No one’s suits fit properly. Pants were far too long or tight and shirt collars were too tight. I’m unsure why we even did initial measurements since nothing was correct. We were then told we had to come back in the next day for alterations. All of us did and waited around an hour to find out either the alterations were not made or they were made incorrectly and we had to wait further. After finally getting the suits and then returning them, we were also called and told one of the suits were not returned despite it not even being rented. Would definitely not recommend this place and will not go here again in the future.
Brad and team at Top Hat Tuxed have been very cooperative with us during our wedding process. They where helpful with not only adjusting to the change of dates that we had because of covid but also where flexible with all the demands we had. They took measurements online for all the groomsmen online and shipped them to them on time. With a wedding happening out of state they gave us enough time to pick the rentals up and drop them off. Definitely will go there again.
ZERO stars. This place is a joke. Do NOT use them. When an issue comes up the only way theyll handle it is through an email. Sorry, not okay. When every tux was wrong after being measured twice I think theres a problem. I was told this is the Walmart of tux stores. Now I know why!Your response is incorrect. We picked up the tuxes. The groom did his final fitting in the store. We took the rest to try on at home and came back to your store to get further alterations. My grandsons pants were the only thing that did fit and somehow they were the only thing altered. He ended up with pants 3 inches too short. I dont care about you pointing to how you write a contract to justify your shortcomings. You have absolutely no idea what goes on in that store because youre an absentee owner which you staff pointed out. We ordered another tux from a different shop and the experience was above and beyond our expectations. You probably need to reevaluate.
Had my son here for his homecoming I think her name was Samantha that helped us and also Kelly these ladies made it happen my son wanted something outside the box and actually everything he wanted they didnt have in his size but Samantha worked very hard to make him happy and made sure we was very satisfied she made my son very happy so that in my eyes is all that mattered to me thank u very much top hat tuxedo I will shop here again
We met the owner, Brad, at a bridal show and were initially impressed with the display. Since we met the owner at a bridal show, we were offered a discount/suit special where we would purchase the jacket and pants and everything else would be a rental item, all included for one price, with tailoring for the suit as well. We had an appointment for the groom, groomsmen and fathers to all go at the same time to get fitted. There were 5 guys in total getting fitted, and it took us over 2 hours to get everything accomplished. Everything was very scattered and the guys were measured multiple times because measurements weren’t recorded properly. Most of the staff was very nice, but we definitely started to feel rushed toward the end with one of the staff advising that he had another wedding party coming in and we needed to wrap up. There were nonstop walk-ins coming in for fittings, suit purchases, etc. After over 2 hours we finally finished, and did not feel confident that everything would be accurate and timely. We were then advised that the suits would arrive 3 weeks prior to our event date, and the only tailoring they did was hemming the pants of the suit. Our party needed multiple additional alterations, the groom especially. We had to purchase the shirt for the groom to get it altered to fit him, which was an additional price. The tie color I chose was not a standard color so that was also an additional price. The vests that I chose were not included in the standard rental items, so that was another upcharge to purchase. I went back to the location to color match the shirts and ties, and tried to see if there was any way for us to get the suits earlier than 3 weeks prior to our event if we would do all alterations elsewhere. The worker contacted the owner, and advised that yes, we could receive our items 4 weeks prior to our event if we were not doing any alterations through them. Luckily, I called them prior to making the over hour drive from Washington to Fox Chapel 4 weeks prior to our wedding, because I called and they confirmed that they were not ready for pick up. They advised they would try to get them together that coming week and would let us know. I was then advised that they would be ready at the 3 week point, which for our September 25 wedding was September 4. I went to get the suits on that day, made the over hour drive, only to arrive for them to once again tell us that the suits were not ready. They advised that they had them in the back but they did not have the staff to pull them together. After exchanging some words with the staff, the owner came out, talked to me, and advised he would hand deliver the suits to my house after close. He dropped the suits off after 9pm that day, but forgot the grooms shirt. He said he would ‘overnight’ it to us, we received it by that next Tuesday/Wednesday. Some of the pants did not fit, causing another few trips to the store to get the correct pants ordered. The rental pieces were said to be ready one day, but weren’t, so we had to get them the day before our wedding. The rental shirts had sweat stains on the collars. Throughout the process, we felt misled, lied to, and were given excuse after excuse as to why our contract was not being upheld. With limited store hours, it was difficult to return the rental items since they do not answer their phones. I will say, the suits did look great and were a great quality. They also at no point owned up to the mistakes or misleading information. If anything they made us feel like we were in the wrong or a bother. I would not recommend this establishment as this was the worst and most stressful part of our wedding. Also in addition I see that some of the responses are regarding that the party wasnt there to try on the suits. If the suits were available 4 weeks out like promised we would have been able to try on the suits in store. However, this was not an option as 3 weeks out the wedding party was out of town and Top Hat Tuxedo was advised of this.
Well when the groom and the groomsmen went to try on their tuxes 2 days before the wedding 7 out of 8 if didn’t fit!!!! So the company looked for their right sizes. They were there for 4 hours trying to get the right sizes. My husband who is grandfather of the bride, his tux was given to one of the groomsmen to take to the hotel. We drove in from Kentucky and the only thing that fit my husband was the shoes. The wedding was near Indiana so we went to Pennys to buy everything he needed to walk his granddaughter down the isle. I do not feel that it is right for Top hat to charge for his tux at all cause he couldn’t wear it!!! They should have given a discount to the other groomsmen because this place measured all of them and nothing was right when they went to pick up their tuxes.I just don’t understand how a company can operate like this and still be in business. We will all be reporting Top Hartley to the better business bureau!!!
You can tell their customers mean at lot to them. They treat them like gold. I was in a wedding who got their suits here, and theyre so helpful and kind I am now buying my suits there for my own wedding. Kind, helpful, always prepared with a Plan B if necessary.

I cant remember the guys name who I saw today, J...He was great. Very professional and friendly. Stopped in for measurements and will definitely be back when I buy my suit. Really nice to hear they have a good range for us short guys. Im 55.

The entire team @ Top Hat Tuxedo is awesome! I had 11 groomsmen and a ring bearer in my wedding, and everyone looked great. We had our wedding in a busy season, (weddings, proms, etc), which could have been stressful time to go a tux shop, but Top Hat took care of everything to make sure my groomsmen looked great on my big day.
First I tried to call this fine establishment to no answer, very professional. Then when I arrived to get measurements, takes 15 to minutes, I was told to come back another day because they were too busy with pick up?! I drove 40 minutes and could not be accommodated, because people picking up items?! Absolutely unacceptable customer service, surprised theyre even still in business...
I had a party of 13 for my wedding and we were taken care of in every way possible! I even had the owner himself drop of shoes for my ring bearer the day before my wedding! I would highly recommend. Best deal in the Burgh!
We picked out suits during COVID whenever Men’s Wearhouse was closed. We originally had fine service when we went in to choose suits and to try on. Everything was fine until the week of the wedding. We were told to pick up our suits the Thursday before the wedding at 8 pm. I called two days before that requesting a new time out of convenience because we do not live close. I was told to come between 11-5 and not after that because they had a bridal party coming in for fittings. Two groomsmen arrived at 12 and were turned away and told they had to come back between 3-5 instead of 11-5. I had called to explain the situation and who I spoke to and everyone there acted like it was the blame game and no one wanted to take responsibility. We eventually left and came back between 3-5 to find that the rentals were STILL not ready for pickup. There scrambled to get everything together in turn giving us in matching belts and an incorrect number of suit vests which also did not match.
Just got a tophat it is oh so good quality and the staff there is so helpful no matter what i would definitely reccomend anyone for there wedding or prom or any other event they go there they have quality clothing and very helpful staff to get you nicely dressed

I came into Top Hat with my boyfriend because he was looking for a suit. He was fitted so nicely and everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, as he doesn’t dress up often so he’s not really sure how everything was supposed to fit. While getting him fitted and finding him the perfect outfit (which they did and he looked amazing), I found a hot pink jacket that really caught my eye. Despite it being a guy’s jacket, I tried it on. All the staff said it looked so good on me as did my boyfriend, so I obviously had to add it to my wardrobe. So whether you’re male or female, the staff at Top Hat Tuxedo is there and ready to help you find exactly what you’re looking for, no matter your size, gender, or whatever style you’re looking for. They can do it all! 10/10 recommend going here for all your formal wear occasions.
Rented a tuxedo for my boyfriend for prom, fit him beautifully and looked beautiful as well. The gold tapestry tie matched my dress perfectly! I also purchased a red dress shirt for my father and it fit him beautifully as well! He loves it! Brad gave me a great deal for the outfit and the shirt :)

The staff is great there they were helpful with my out of town groomsmen and were able to make adjustments quick when they were able to measure them. They made alterations and came back the next day and everything fit perfect!!! I’m not sure that it’s possible to truly reflect how incredible Top Hat Tuxedo really is; but I have to try.I met the owner, Brad, at a wedding convention while he was handing out flyers. After speaking with him for a short period of time, I could see that he was a very personable person and a family man, which is a quality that my husband and I hold to great value. I knew then that his shop was the one for us. A short while later, I had the pleasure of meeting his wife Andrea, which only emphasized the choice that we had made was the right one.To say that this shop had to deal with some of the worst situations that could arise in this industry is quite an understatement! To start, only two of the twelve men involved in our wedding party, were measured at Brad’s shop, the other ten were measured in different states and then sent to Brad, already making for a difficult task. Over the course of the next year, we had men dropping out of the wedding, men getting added to the list, and then more dropping out. This went on and on resulting in not two or three changes here and there, but several significant changes being made; multiple times. Brad was always very kind and considerate, never complaining and willing to make any necessary adjustments. When the list was finally complete, I had asked all of my groomsmen, several times in fact, to get fitted for their hats. This request was ignored by more than a few of the guys, however Brad came through, ordering several different sizes to ensure that he would have a fit for everyone.Fast forward to the week before the wedding, and a groomsman completely backs out of the wedding party! Without hesitation, Brad took the sizes, replacing an adult tuxedo for a child, and was more than accommodating of the situation.It’s now the night before the wedding, we are at the rehearsal. The groomsmen head upstairs to do their final fittings with Brad, and it would seem as though almost everyone had changed in size by nearly fifty pounds!!! Brad spent quite some time making all of alterations with a smile on his face; and yet, this is not last of Brad’s gracious hospitality! The morning of the wedding, Brad receives a phone call, informing him that one of the groomsmen didn’t show up, and there will be a family member standing in; who is of a completely different size and stature! Once again, Brad stepped up, completely altering the tuxedo, hand sewing nearly every piece of the suit, making the replacement look as though he had been there since the beginning!As I said in the beginning of this review, there really isn’t a way, or the right words to express just how wonderful Brad and Top Hat Tuxedo are, and the amazing lengths he went to, throughout our entire process, to make the men in our wedding party look incredible!Thank you Brad and Andrea! Top Hat Tuxedo is a 5-star shop in every way!!!

Well I must admit... I was planning my wedding in less a months time, I needed suits and a tux for my groomsman, ring bearer and I on a short notice and required nothing short of prisitine excellence. Im only getting married once after all and really wanted to nail it. Guess who delivered...? Yup, it was Top Hat Tuxedo in Waterworks!I mean from great deals on the suits to the fits that were next to perfect. The icing on the cake was that everyone got to keep their suit... Ikr!Now the job on my jacket was absolutely fantastic! I was very impressed at the level of skill that was put into sizing it just for me and everyone loved it and of course my bride did the most. Rented a Tux for my nieces wedding yesterday and it was a FIASCO! During final fitting there was trouble with the clasp for the waist extender. Staff initially claimed he could fix with pliers. Upon trying he couldnt so he said he would get me some other pants. Well when I go to the wedding the clasp failed on the same side as it did at the fitting.. Long story short I had to continually secure myrmy pants fromdfrom falling down and missed the reception. #VERYDISAPPOINTED
Im a bigger guy 6ft around 260 large chest,big shoulders and a 21 inch neck. I have always had trouble wearing suits for weddings because of my dimensions. The last wedding I was in required me to wear a slim fit suit with my build that is not an easy feat to accomplish, but Top Hat stepped up to the plate and to the challenge head on. the amount of care and service this company put into getting this suit to fit was astounding; they even made a house call just to take some extra measurements. At the wedding I looked fantastic and received a ton of compliments. This is a solid company that really cares about their customers. I definitely recommend!

My sister and brother-in-law rented tuxedos for their wedding party at Top Hat Tuxedo. Not only did the tuxedos look/fit great, but the level of service was impressive. The staff really goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable with the whole process, start to finish. What I really loved was that they own their own stock. One of the groomsmen had gained weight prior to the wedding and the staff was quick to provide him with a new coat and pants that fit properly. Thank you Top Hat Tuxedo! I highly recommend!
My husband had a horrible experience with this establishment They charge everybody for dirty suits broken suspenders. The material is cheap Its from China It shouldnt even be qualified as a suit Its an absolute embarrassment for any man that has to wear any of their products Its an absolute disgrace.
I met Gods personal tailor here in October 2018, his name is Rich. Rich will go the extra mile for you just like he did for me. When I made a measuring error that threatened the timeline for getting a wedding suit, Rich stepped up and made a plan to get a suit made with less than 48 hours to event time. He then hand delivered it to my hotel outside of core business hours. Ill never forget how much you did for us Rich, thank you!
I would recommend Top Hat Tuxedo in Waterworks Mall to anyone and everyone. Brad, the owner, and his staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and bend over backwards to try to create the look and style that the customer envisions. When I needed an XXXL tux, they made that happen. When I needed a classic tux from a particular era, they found that too. Old fashioned customer service with all the latest styles and trends. I would never go anywhere else!

Service was above and beyond, Brad is quick to respond to any questions and easy to work with. The tuxes looked great, he brought them to our rehearsal location for final fittings, made any alterations that needed done that night and then brought them back to our house where myself and the groomsmen were getting ready. He then picked them up at the hotel everyone stayed at the following day so everything was VERY convenient for us, also the prices werent bad - name brand tuxes but not at a Mens Warehouse price.

I went to Top hat tuxedo to get my tuxedo for prom and I was very pleased. I was helped right away and the service was very good. When I came in for my final fitting everything fit perfect and there were no alterations needed. I was in and out of the store quickly. Ive always find them to be very helpful, accommodating and timely. Have rented prom tuxes, wedding tuxes, bought tuxes, organized tuxes for the Medallion Ball through them and purchased accessories. Its like being taken care of by a small town shop with big city expertise. I have used other tuxedo vendors. They give you an honest, educated opinion and personalized service. I highly recommend them.

Being as picky as I am, I didnt think I would get what I wanted as far as fit and color went, but they were able to special order the exact tuxedo I saw online, and even had me try on a tux from the same designer to make sure I liked the fit.As a college student, I found myself in need of a suit for formals, events, and interviews. I didnt bring one with me to Philadelphia. So I called them up, and asked what they could so, Brad sent me pictures of the swatch book, and I picked out a suit and a tuxedo and had it shipped to me. After my fraternity brothers saw the quality and fit, a few of them decided to do the same thing, and top hat had the suits ordered and shipped up to us with the hems already done.Finally, with my sisters wedding soon approaching, I recommended this place to her for tuxes, I went with her to the appointment, she worked with Tamber, and she had everything picked out and ready to try on, and my sister had her colors matched perfectly.Overall, top hat tuxedo has done a great job with everything Ive needed so far. even with short term notice, long distance, and a busy store full of prom kids I cant complain, everything fitted perfectly and they do all they can to satisfy the customer.Thanks Top Hat Tuxedo Staff! I was going to a black tie optional wedding a few months ago, and my wife wanted me to go all-out and wear the black tie. So, I went to Top Hat and picked out a basic, simple, cheap black tux to rent. Price was right, seemed great. I picked it up the day before the event, took it home, and showed my wife. She said it was baggy and out of style and I should have picked out a newer, modern slim-fit tux. I called Top Hat and said Id screwed up and needed a tux upgrade in a hurry. They told me to come in right away, since they were closing in a half hour, and they had sexy slim-fit tuxes ready and waiting for me to try on. They 2 employees working ended up staying about 45 minutes past closing to make sure they got me into a tux that my wife approved of. Really, really nice of them. Im sorry I forget their names. And the price increase for the fancier, newer tux wasnt even so bad. They hooked me up. Highly recommended.
I was styled by Keith last week in the middle of prom season. His attention to detail was superb, he’s extremely knowledgeable, and he made it look easy as he had to assist multiple people at one time. I highly recommend his services!
Love this place! Highly recommend! I trusted my special day to them and they knocked it out of the park. I was extremely impressed with the excellent customer service and wide selection of inventory at Top Hat. The owner has clearly been doing this for years. He’s extremely well versed in what’s trending and offered insight you don’t get from the typical retail store. They are perfectionists and made sure I had everything I needed and then some. Top Hat Tuxedo is an adorable little shop nestled in waterworks mall. Though i personally have never shoped there, as a past employee I can 100% say if your looking for fantastic customer service I would highly recommend Brenda. She appears to genuinely care about customers and making sure, to the best of her abilities, that everything is perfect. Other notable employees are Sara and Jared, they are both exceptional and put top effort into each customer.
Im young and not very experienced with suits but the employees here were SUPER helpful with getting me a good suit and making sure it fits me perfectly. Now I have a great looking outfit for homecoming, yeah! Recommend this place for sure.
I was a groomsman in a friends wedding and we had ordered our suits from Top Hat Tuxedo. They did a wonderful job with sizing and fitting our suits. The day we picked everything up for the wedding went very smoothly. The service was very good and I would use them again.
Amazing experience with Brad and his team from start to finish for my wedding day. I had 9 groomsmen, a ring bearer, suits from both parents and nephew who carried the gift down. The quality and attention given to my party seemed like a VIP treatment that couldnt be matched. My groomsmen were all around the county and the order was fulfilled without one issue. Price was very impressive, but the quality of service was unmatched!
Top Hat is the only wedding vendor that wasnt a perfect experience for us. This was disappointing because when we had our first consultation with them and picked out our suits, the service was great, and we were excited to support a small business in the area. This changed drastically the day that some of our guys went there to pick up their rentals. I am pretty sure they charged us twice for part of a suit, and would not budge on this, so we are out the seventy dollars I guess. Also, many members of our bridal party waited over two hours that day for service. They should have warned us in advance that the wait could be so long because two of my groomsmen missed our wedding rehearsal because of Top Hat Tuxedo. They also gave the GROOM the wrong size coat for his suit. That is unacceptable in my opinion. One of the salespeople was also rude to my sister. Also, the suits smelled a little funky. They seem very understaffed for the amount of business that they take on, so Im not sure I recommend them. However, it sounds like everyone has a terrible experience no matter where they rent tuxedos or suits.
I know the owner, Brad Fabian and his dedication to his business is impeccable. Brad is compassionate, honest and takes pride in his business and goes out of his way to make sure every customer is satisfied. I highly recommend Top Hat to service all of your needs when formal attire is required.
Extremely poor service both when ordering a tuxedo for a prom and especially when picking it up. The store was jam packed with a sign in list. Some had been there over 4 hours. When we finally were called, my sons jacket sleeves were too short and needed let down. The pants that we ordered with the tuxedo were a different color and I also pointed this out. Instead of rectifying the pants, the gentleman that waited on us argued with me that the pants were correct because the jacket had a black trim. I had to take him to the mannequin in the store to show him that we ordered exactly that tuxedo (blue jacket with blue pants on the mannequin) and he still pointed to the jacket and said no, its black on the jacket. He took the tux back into the back room and said they would let down the sleeves. About 20 minutes later he came out with the tux in a bag and said we were all done and could leave. I asked him if the sleeves were let down and he said Yes. I asked What about the pants? and he said they admitted it was their mistake and provided a pair of blue pants (as well as the black ones). I had my son try the jacket on again to make sure of the fit. The sleeves were exactly the same. I asked the gentleman if he let them down in the back and he said No basically nothing was done. I asked to speak to a manager and also had my husband come into the store to speak to them about the fit. After another half an hour, the jacket sleeves were adjusted down and we were able to leave. Totally unacceptable. We paid $189.95 for this tux rental and received horrid service. I will never go back to that store. I had rented from them for years for my older sons proms etc. but after being lied to and given the wrong product and being made to feel it was MY fault, I wont go back. I asked for a price adjustment but the gentleman stated that nothing could be done for me.
We experienced such great service working with Top Hat. We had a destination wedding in South Florida and they were so accommodating for the extra time we needed for rentals. All the groomsmen looked great in their tuxes. I would definitely recommend Top Hat to others.
Brad and his staff are excellent. I needed a suit for a pending funeral and was unsure of the dates. He took my measurements and told me hed hold the suit on standby until I needed it and was more than understanding. I didnt need it for a full two weeks afterwards and when I needed it, they had it ready to go with a perfect fit. They were understanding, sincere and more than accommodating. I recommend them to everyone I know and will go nowhere else.
They have awesome specials and the people who work there are all incredible....Brad..the owner pays close attention to detail and provides a wonderful experience...Keith Bloom...one of the reps ...is a top fashion designer who will make you feel like a million bucks giving you a personal and wonderful experience while making u look like u could hit the runway....most DEF recommend
Several years ago Top Hat Tuxedo provided good service for a friends wedding. However, for our wedding this September, they were a horror to work with. We had to make several trips there regarding the suits being incorrectly measured and sized, because they forgot several of our rental pieces, and because they ordered two suits in the wrong color. While these issues did get corrected in time, it was stressful to deal with. One good thing I will say is the owner made a delivery to the venue site, however this was only necessary since things were missing from our order. Im not sure why the quality of service has gone down since our last use of this company, but I would recommend using another suit company for your needs.
I used Top Hat for my wedding which was on April, 9th 2019. I had absolutely no problem with the service provided by Brenda at the store for my fittings. She was a pleasure to work with, and I will be back at a later date to buy a suit from them. One of the reasons I went with Top Hat was the fact that they delivered my tux and my groomsmans tuxes to our hotel. Our final fitting was the day before our wedding, and Brad was the one to come down and do our final measurements. He was 100% professional and very thorough with our fittings. He dropped off our tuxes the next dayvat our hotel. Everything was as needed for my wedding, and I never looked better in any suit! I have absolutely no complaints about Brad, Brenda, and Top Hat as a whole! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone that asked.
Not impressed. I went in with my wife way before our wedding date. The owner took great care of us- was very helpful and provided advice, got all my measurements correctly, and was extremely polite. Did not take long at all. But then when my groomsmen, dad, and father-in-law visited to get their measurements, they did not have the owner but rather other employees. They said the people that helped them took forever and were very rude and unprofessional. Two groomsmen had to submit online and had to do it 3 times before it actually went through and refused to take the measurements over the phone.Fast forward closer towards the wedding. My measurements were fine. Everyone else in my wedding had measurements that were off. WAY OFF. Shirts didnt fit, pants didnt fit, shoes didnt fit, you name it. We ordered jackets for my father and father-in-law, but who was ever taking care of them didnt even bother to write it down. Because of all this screw up, we spent hours in this place.If the workers here were going to be so rude to the people in my wedding about getting their measurements and stuff...... AT LEAST GET THE MEASUREMENTS RIGHT.Very disappointing that the owner clearly is good at his job and takes pride in his business- he needs to be sure those feelings and knowledge are passed down to his young employees.

A couple weeks ago I rented a tuxedo from Top Hat Tuxedo for prom. I looked great and the staff was very helpful. Any question I had they answered it on the spot without hesitation. I would recommend Top Hat Tuxedo to anyone looking for the best customer experience hands down.
Things started a little off a little rocky as the original sales associate was a bit off on her measurements. When picking up the tuxedo for prom it was not at all what my son was expecting from a slim fit. BRITTANY was amazing. She took control of the situation and we were there for 2 hours until my son was in the exact look he wanted. Brittany worked with the owner and seamstress until everything was perfect. I was very surprised because usually no one goes the distance to ensure complete satisfaction. I am not easy to please but there really isnt enough I can say about Brittany or Top Hat. I will be a repeat customer for sure.
Brad and his crew could not have been any better! We rented a total of 18 tuxedos and 2 suits for my nieces wedding and everything was perfect! The colors were exactly what we wanted! All of the guys looked awesome! I wont go anywhere else for formalwear! Top Hat Tuxedo has a customer for life!!

Outstanding customer service! Rented kilts through them and the staff made every accommodation to ensure they fit properly. Staff are professional and kind. Ive been renting tuxedos here since I was a kid (Prom, my Wedding, other weddings) and will continue to do so for future events.
Horrible experience! Stay away! 4 out of 9 suits were messed up for our wedding party. Grooms suit was ordered not even close to the right size. they lied to us for 2 weeks before the wedding about a new suit coming in. We didnt have a suit for the groom until the night before our wedding. AT THE REHEARSAL DINNER!!! When the owner dropped the suit off at the rehearsal dinner it wasnt even the correct style or suit nor was it the right color!!!! It has been a month since the wedding and I am trying to get ahold of the owner for a refund but he will not return our calls, certified letters or emails!!!! Will be showing up at his shop with my attorney next!! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!

I waited and waited to go pick up my suit for my friends wedding and when I got there my pants were a little big. The crew that was there helped me out immediately and instantly fixed the problem for me. They called me to update me on everything and very very polite! If I were to ever get married or were to ever need a tux or suit for anything this is the place I would go!Bonus: the girl that worked there was super cute and so nice! I think her name was Kara!? And the younger guy that was there was a huge help and I didnt have to wait long to get my pants hemmed up. Thank you Top Hat Tux, and Kara you should call me sometime!

Terrible experience! Not one single employee was on the same page! They didnt know what suits were rentable and what suits were for sale. I had myself, 5 groomsman and 2 fathers getting suits from there. Long story short 4 out of 8 people were not going to buy suits. By the time the suits were ready the owner told them that they had to buy them. On top of that they were told it was a 3 peice suit they were going to buy during the first size up. Upon pickup the suits were only 2 pieces and the employee had no explanation for it. But 1 groomsmen that bought the same exact suit as everyone else got all 3 pieces. while the rest of the 4 groomsmen were told it was only a 2 peice. Still no explanation. My dad was forced to buy his suit 2 weeks before the wedding because they failed to inform him that the suit he wanted to rent was for purchase only that he tried on 3 months prior.I can go on and on about the terrible and confusing experience I had. Just beware dealing with this company. You will end up frustrated and confused.
Ive never seen such an UNORGANIZED, MISMANAGED and RUDE staff anywhere!! They cannot handle multiple customers nor have skills to handle new orders. They mess up your order and trying to fix it with SORRIES so do your research before visiting this place and do not get fooled by all the fraudulent 5 stars!!! Absolutely not recommended!!!
Absolutely the worst. A week before the wedding and all the sizing is completely off. I was here first sitting here while they’re working on customers around me. Been here an hour.

I would give negative stars if I could. WARNING TO EVERYONE READING THIS. THIS GUY COULD RUIN YOUR WEDDING. I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING ANYWHERE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD THAN THIS PLACE.One of my best friends is a female and she had me and another guy be in her wedding on her side. So we got pink jackets to match the others bridesmaids dresses. We got fitted for these jackets on January 5th. The wedding was September 7th and we couldn’t pick them up until September 5th. The other guy showed up to pick his up at 3pm. I couldn’t get there until 6 because I was at work. The jacket meant for the other guy did not fit him so he gave him my jacket because it did fit him and then he sent the other jacket away to be fixed because he only had time to get 1 of the jackets adjusted and not both. The other guy in the wedding is 5’6” and I’m 5’11”. He dropped the jacket off at my house on Saturday morning at 9AM. The wedding started at 1. The jacket was entirely too short for me. I guess that makes sense because it was meant for someone who was 5’6”. But I had to wear it. I had no other choice.The owner of the shop claims the other guy put on 30 pounds and that’s why it didn’t fit him. If that’s the case then why were the short and pants a size too big? He just flat out screwed up and was unwilling to take any blame. Even if the other guy put on 30 lbs you don’t give him my jacket. He told me my jacket wouldn’t have fit me anyway and he only had time to get 1 jacket fixed. (I lost 7 lbs from the fitting to the pickup). So if my jacket wouldn’t have fit me anyway then they did a horrible job. It also shouldn’t have taken us 9 months to try them on if they were made brand new. We should have got them in August and then both jackets could have been altered if needed.He also forgot to order enough bow ties for all the groomsman so he “handmade” one and had me take it to the wedding and give to the groomsman. The joke all day at the wedding was the chew toy for a dog that the guy had to wear around his neck. I’m not making this up or exaggerating. It looked like a dogs chew toy and was hideous.When it’s all said and done you think someone who owns a tuxedo shop should realize that you don’t switch jackets with 2 people who are 6 inches different in height.As a slap in the face he offer me a $50 refund. I wanted $100 and would have been fine with that. He doesn’t deserve a dime for the terrible job he did.He also swindled me into paying as soon as I walked into the shop. I knew a little of what was going on but not the entire story and they swindled me into paying my balance. That’s my fault.When it’s all said and done I was supposed to have a suit that fit me 48 hours before the wedding and I went the entire wedding with a jacket that was 6 inches too short for me.THIS GUY COULD RUIN YOUR WEDDING. TRED CAREFULLY PEOPLE.I have pictures of the jacket and bow tie to prove all of this.You have been warned. Go to any other tuxedo place in the world.

Sorry but our wedding party all had an issue of one sort or another. Every thing from pants with broken clasps, cufflinks broken, jackets all to small couldnt lift our arms at all. The heal and sole coming off prior to the ceremony. Totally unsatisfying all around. Thank God for duct tape.
Disorganized. Ineffecient. I was under the impression that clients went to top hat tux and got mesaured so that the sizes were correct when the tux was picked up. That does not seem to be the case at top hats. The sleeves needed to be hemmed, as well as the pants. Buttons were missing and sleeves were torn. Tux appear to be well worn and not newer. I would suggest the owners purchase more newer stock to be available. We were there 3 times in one day to get everything corrected. I would not recommend using top hat tuxedo at waterworks mall.
