Cannot say enough about how impressed we are! When everyone in the world is building decks and its impossible to get wood, Moynihan was able to pull out all the stops and deliver everything we needed to build ours. All other stores were either not taking orders or the lead time was 7-10 days.The delivery was perfectly placed on the side of our driveway, the driver being conscientious to give us room to still park.The quality is fantastic and we are super happy!

I use their North Reading store, the employees at the counter are knowledgeable and if they are uncertain of the product I am looking for they go the extra mile to find the answers or the product itself for me. Their free delivery is huge plus. Check them out if you haven!!

We went here and saw Jessica to plan our Kitchen remodel. All I can say is WOW! she was FULL SERVICE! very knowledgeable and completely helped us EVERY STEP OF THE WAY! An absolute pleasure to work with and their pricing was better than other big box places. We will DEFINITELY come back for any future projects. I recently completed a whole-house renovation. I came to Moynihan for windows, doors, paint, decking and some other odds and ends. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They came to know me well. Although the extent of my renovation is over, I will continue to give them my business in the future. Highly recommend!

I bought a Storm door here several months ago and paid $350 for it. I assumed that included the installation since an additional charge for installation was never brought up. It took two months and several calls to finally get my door installed. I got a call today from them saying I had an open balance of $225 for the storm door. I explained I had paid $350 and no one had ever mentioned that there was an additional charge for installation, which I would have paid immediately. I called Moynihan and the person I spoke said that was for installation and installation aint free!! Avoid Moynihan Lumber like the plague! Piss poor customer service and flat out lying. Will never go there again!

Placed order for lumber for delivery and was supposed to be delivered on a Saturday so crew could do the work. When I called Sat morning I was told it wouldn’t arrive until Monday the day before a blizzard was due!!! Had to cancel the crew for Saturday and couldn’t get them back for that following Mon as they already had other jobs lined up for a week or so.Staff person that dealt with me was rude and told me I never asked for Saturday and had asked for Monday. I told him that’s not true. Asked if there was any way they could get it out for Saturday and was told no. So I canceled the order and got snide remark “so you want this canceled and you won’t be calling back Monday looking for the order”. I told him in an irritated voice just cancel the order and refund my money! He continued with condescending remarks. I will never go back! East Coast Lumber or Cyr Lumber has much better service and staff.
