I love MB! They always have what I want. The grocers are all courteous. The deli specialists are polite and quick and clean. The butcher has never steered me wrong with his suggestions. And the prices are the BEST anywhere!

Market basket is a great grocery store. Their prices are great and find that they beat Walmart prices on groceries a lot of the time. Their meat is always fresh. Customer service varies as most are friendly and helpful there are those that I find very rude and snotty. I have shopped at market basket for 5 years and I will not shop at Hanifords Aldis or anywhere else. The only store that could come close to beating them is Publix but only found in the south. Thank you for always having a clean store. I shop at the Market basket in Hooksette near the Walmart. Near Hacket hill road.

You will find all you need here. Good selection of all items. Great meats and sea food items. Always fresh. Give it a go. You will not be disappointed. Trust me.

Reminds me of the Stratham Market Basket but this one has a limited Markets Kitchen and a Sushi counter. Store is narrow with confusing floor arrows at the entrance next to customer service. Floors need a good cleaning. Clearance section has produce and grocery items together. Funny smell coming through doors that lead to the warehouse next to clearance. Staff was friendly but check out clerk didnt stop someone loading up their groceries on the register counter while I was finishing my transaction. Carts were being pushed through and handles were being wiped down at the entrance. Redbox available.

Right across the street from us near Westgate in Haverhill, this store is the neighborhood anchor. Focused on shopping, Oooh no. Your neighbors that you havent seen nor spoken to will Ram your cart to say HI! What the Fudge! Hi Charlene!

Had what I need exactly where it always has been.

Its extremely busy in there on the weekends. I am not used to the layout of the store, so Im always lost. Lol And have a better selection of ice cream than any M Basket in MA. Plus they still sell my menthol cigarettes and at a good price.

Always a great value. I think produce could be fresher but thats just me.

The aisles are so small. But, that actually kinda adds to the ambiance. Well, as much ambiance that can be found in a supermarket. Its on the border with MA so its always packed. Just go with it. Bonus points to you if you still call it Demoulas.

Not too crowded. Prices are getting high but still reasonable.

It doesnt matter to much which one always a good experience.

This market basket is usually filled with people. If that doesnt bother you, this is a fine place to shop.

I enjoy this store

Im a market basket shopper, but i usually go to the smaller ones this market basket is one of the larger ones witch is fine if you have the extra cash to spend, i for one always comes out with way more than what i went in for and always spends more than expected, its nice if you need something that one of the other ones dont have to offer, its location is in a convenient location, off the highway and set in a small mall type area.

The prices are fair and the store workers are friendly and curious.

Plaistow MB dont go very often. Used to. 1st out of cat food. Fancy Feast..how, completely bare. 2nd Bothers me when employees cant wear face mask correctly. Was told by shill for MB all employees are directed how to and to wear face masks. My question where are the Red Coats to monitor. Wearing below your nose aint wearing it correctly. And DONT PUT OUT THE SIGNAGE that says customers must when you dont enforce it. So tired of NH Market Baskets..probably gets worse as you go up the state.

They did not have the caramel popcorn with the pink Himalayan salt that I bought a little over a month ago. I had reached out to the manufacturer and they told me that it would be in stock, which wasnt the case.

They generally have everything I want. Aisles are narrow making getting around others difficult.

Its our local Market Basket, has what we need, it doesnt keep everything in stock at times, no crumpets for awhile now, raspberry flavored water is always a challenge, never any 2 liter Pepsi made with real sugar. Thats just a few things we dont see often that we do buy.

Customer service is excellent 5 stars. Store is clean 5 stars.. Four stars for lack of some essential products. Not that this is their fault during this pandemic but b4 that the store tends to face the shelves (thats what us old timers would call it when we pulled product forward to make the shelves look full) but what we didnt consistently do is, FILL other products under tag spot for missing product. And sometimes if you look behind you will find 1 of the correct products on back)I hate the way MB consistently does that. Maybe part timers NOT trained properly. How can you order consistently accurate if other products may be in space. I dont need an answer. Just an observation.Otherwise a great store.

Nice store other than the fact MB only cares about your wallet. I got hit with a free rolling shopping cart, they would NOT fix my f150s damage, said it was an act of nature and unless I saw the person whom pushed it, pathetically dishonest store chain management. I also drive CDL-A for a local company and deliver too Wilmington, MA there distribution warehouse, same Gestapo tactics at there warehouses. I know way too much about these guys. I dont care for them much. Their employees speak against them when OFF the clock on personal time. They are cheap but not on prices like you think. Most food prices in deli fresh are min. $4 to $1 as much as $7 to $1.

I really like MB but wish the aisles in the Plaistow store were widwr. The customer service has always been great at the Plaistow store. I also like shopping here because staff and shoppers wear masks to reduce COVID transmission.

This store is so poorly run and managed. It is by far the worse grocery store I have been in. On a busy Thursday they had one grumpy man with no personality working in the deli and 11 people waiting! A lady finally came out and put cheese in the case and 5 minutes later started to help. Then another employee finally came in and talked to the grumpy man while he attempted to wait on me giving my bags to a different lady!!! This store was like this way before the pandemic so they cant use that for an excuse!

I can not express how impressed i was today about 4pm.I was cringing at the thought of trying to find food as we face this virus. The team was working so hard and so fast at stocking the shelves quickly! Even my bagger Joseph did a great job in this time of concern.Thank you all!

I just want to give you guys a friendly shout out on how much I enjoyed my experience today. The line outside to get in was long but moved quickly and enjoyed listening to the nicest, upbeat, good humored employees outside explaining social distancing and oneway isles to stay safe. Not only did I finish shopping quickly and smoothly I was greeted by A smiling cashier and bagger at the check out ..y’all are doing a great job and I truly thank you for your positive energy, dedication and hard work during this hard time with the virus. Awful. The store is always dirty, the managers are unfriendly, (especially the short one) and they never look out back for things. I suspect they just go out there and talk. Theyve never found anything for me back there. Awful service.

Big store 32 registers large hot food take-out counter subs pizza unbeatable prices, I compared a product from stop & shop they charge roughly 30 % more for it. Because you get more for your money here expect it to be always busy and nothing sits in the shelf too long so it will always be fresh

Market Basket never has enough of the name brands. They push their own brand alot. Produce and fish can be hot or miss as far as freshness goes. Cheapest around though.

They are doing a great job managing the line and everything moved fast!

I wish Market Basket as a while would require the use of masks. Until this pandemic is over, I am not comfortable going to any Market Baskets. Fortunately there are a lot of people who are wearing masks of their own volition, but there were more people not wearing a mask than I am comfortable with.

This is the best grocery store around, hands down! Their produce always looks great, their meats are always good, theyll even cut any roast to whatever size you need! The store is always clean and neat. We wont shop anywhere else!

Everytime I go to the Plaistow store I seem to be systematically Overcharged. Without fail.

There are always a store filled with shoppers. Thats great for the store, but not so much for the patrons. Making it very difficult to navigate the store. Never mind the long lines at the register. On a brighter note, if you do navigate the sore unencumbered, there are many savings to accquire.

I work at Market Basket.

Employees are always great and very helpful. That being said, since the end of the strike things have changed quite a bit. Their pricing on items is constantly rising. Not by a lot, a little here, a little there, but in the end it amounts to a larger food bill. Food items that I consistently buy and seem to be good sellers are suddenly gone and not replaced. In the frozen section items are constantly hidden and buried behind something else that doesnt belong there. The meats and selection and the deli department at Shaws are always superior, hands down. Shaws also carries a lot of items Market Basket doesnt. I used to shop exclusively at Market Basket but now Ive started to split my order. Market Basket is still cheaper than Shaws but not by that much anymore. Before too long I will be shopping exclusively at Shaws.

My favorite place to shop

Highly recommend this market basket. The manager, Kevin, is by far the most friendly and helpful person I have ever encountered. I asked him for help finding a particular product tonight, not only did he tell me what isle it was in, but walked me over to ensure I found it.When we didn’t find the item in its usual spot, he didn’t stop there. He made sure to walk me down to the only other spot it could be. When it wasn’t in that isle either, he walked me back to the original isle to find it was hiding on the back of a center isle end cap. He is the definition of customer service. I have never had anyone in this industry show such genuine care and kindness towards anyone.

I love this place. Lots of options, good bakery items, full shelves. Some of the kids working for them at the registers arent the best at customer service, but I dont go to the grocery store to have my ego polished.

Love market basket. Their prices have climbed in recent times, but I hope they remember who made their business thrive now and during their strike. I live on cape cod in the summer and have to travel about 40 miles to shop, hows that for loyalty. We have a store in sagamore, bit we are desperate for one in hyannis and the full time residents population has grown significantly and we need a lower cost grocer. To many high end stores and there are a lot of blue collar working people that need a break on price. There are a lot of vacant spots, please open a store.

Its just the best. If you dont have a lot of money, you can still buy relatively fresh fruits and vegetables and Breads and even Meats at very very low prices because they put them out when they are just a day old or with the meats when theyre at the end of a badge you know at the end of a of a loaf of meat. I always hit the corners of Market Basket first because thats where the bargains are, and I swear I have begun to eat much more healthy lately because produce is so much less in the corners. Now if I could just resist their coconut egg custard pie, Id be doing even better.

The employees are very helpful, and will often take you right to the item you are looking for.The folks that have worked there for more than a couple of years become like family.But dont distract them for too long. They have to keep those shelves stocked !

Has everything you need there, but wayyyy too small of a place for a great grocery store. Stresses me out to get groceries there. It seems to be busy any day at any time of day when open.

I cant say enough about Market Basket! The customer is always #1. Excellent fish and produce. Great selection of meat, dairy, condiments, canned goods, and other staples. The prices are the best around. Whens the last time an employee held an umbrella over you, escorted you to your car, and returned your shopping cart for you? Thats right - the last time you shopped at Market Basket in a rain storm.

Omg....we live in Alabama now and this is the store we miss the most from home!!! Best prices and selection for a grocery store!!! We will only eat MB hot dogs so we stock up when we come for a visit. And fluff cause you cant get that here!!! Please get a store down here in the south!!!!

Beware of buying dairy there. The refrigerators dont always work properly. Even when brought to their attention, they leave the warm food there... that has happened on 2 separate occasions that I have seen. Will never go there again.

Often jam packed but reasonable prices. The only issue I have is check meat dates, some are next day. Checkout is usually quick even with a mob scene

What can I say its a smaller store and gets busy but market basket will always hold a place on my heart for their care of the communities that support them. Needs a New Store, its very old and run down, Shopping in that building makes you feel like your in Manchester NH. I hope they consider building a new one with the Market Kitchen. Summer is here so Lobsters and Ice Cream go on sale all the time, check online and see the deals
