I got into an accident down the road that tore apart my condenser and radiator and was told to get to one of the many repair shops in the area. I’m not from the area, and ended up going to Homer Ave Automotive. Anthony helped us immediately, even when showing up a couple hours before closing. He made sure I was back on the road faster than any other repair shop I’ve been to and was so kind and informative about the entire process. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience or more reasonable prices. I’ll be driving the hour from Philadelphia just to have future repairs done because of this experience. Thank you again Anthony and team!

Unfortunate circumstances on my behalf, other then that these guys are good people. They don’t hassle you they want to take care of you, I respect the honesty and friendliness and kindness I’ve been given from these guys. If I need work done to my car in the near future I would definitely come here out of sheer respect for this place. Probably the best experience I ever had buying a car. I use my car for work 40k miles per year. I have used Homer ave automotive for about a year and now I have all of my cars seviced only here. Anthony is always honest, helpful and priced fairly. He gets my car in and out with little down time. He is extremely knowledgeable and will not promise a price until he does a full assessment. Its great to have a mechanic who fixes the car right the first time and it costs exactly what he says.

Garbage! All I can say is that the service is garbage. They charged my mom $145 and didn’t do nothing for her. The guy up front has the nastiest attitude. Save time and money and DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I was towing my RV (5th wheel) from NH down to FLA when my Trucks intermittent engine squeal tuned into a very loud and constant screech. Before my planned road trip, I brought it to several mechanics (back home).. I had some work done but they werent able to correctly diagnose and fix the problem..So I called and went to at least a 1/2 dozen local area NJ mechanics but they were scheduling days to even weeks out and I did not have that kind of time.. I didnt give up and I happen to come across Homer Ave Automotive on the internet; I noticed they had great reviews..I called and the owner, Anthony, talked with me on the phone and he had me bring the truck right in the same afternoon. He took the truck right in and put it on the lift; He found the noise and diagnosed the problem;he showed me the problem and took the time to explain it; he explained what to expect regarding repair/s, repair cost and time..Its an older truck, I had a few problems, it was a fairly big job and I left the truck overnight.. They completed all repairs, as discussed, and I was on the road by 1 pm the next day..I forget her name at the front desk but she is very nice.. The place is very organized - they even use a work schedule (white board) on wall by the front desk.. Ive been around, I cant say enough about this place and I highly recommend them.What a lifesaver ! Anthony even called me to follow up and see how I made out.. Not only did they fix my brakes (pads and drums) on the spot, they were incredibly thorough and informative during the process. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area.

The owner was VERY disrespectful, the customer service is the worst, they held on to my car for weeks without telling me what was going on. I will NEVER go to this shop EVER again. And they blamed me the customer for their miscommunication. The receptionist threatened me because I wanted to continue a conversation with the mechanic. And the car was still broke down. Disappointed.

HONESTY, .... I have been to many auto repair shops, never feeling a sense of honest recommendations or advice. . But Homers has been a great experience. Now under new owner ship and managed by a owner who is trying to bring back the old fashion approach. That every customer deserves the best from the first time untill your 100% happy and ready to leave. I have family members who have now choosen to bring their cars there too.. Im not a mechanic, so I need someone to trust. .. my vehicle is very important to my family.Thank you Anthony, and the crew.!!

Read all of this!!! Your car is not a toy and its crucial to find a good mechanic. Seems like these guys have no experience in what they do. I went there for pricing on a valve adjustment but thats something you dont trust just any old shop to do and given that they had no reviews at the time, I found another place. I DID go to these guys when my clutch master cylinder went and I usually do all my work on my own but I had none of my tools or anyway to get the store to buy a new Master Cylinder. So I went to these guys. All in all my clutch pedal was VERY VERY loose and I was having a hard time taking off... So Im driving to work one morning and luckily I get there when my clutch pedal sticks to the floor. Upon inspection it turns out that the nut and bolt that connect the master cylinder to the clutch pedal had come undone. As a temporary solution I put it back on and did some research. Now from my understanding, a nut and bolt shouldnt be in place of a CLEVIS PIN in this type of application. I will never go back to this place... I payed 75 for the tow and they charged me 260 for this piss poor job. Your car is nothing to trust in the hands of amateurs. Im not ASE certified and I would do a better job. Hadnt it been for the absense of my tools and my pregnant wife being with me, I would have never gone to this joke of a shop.
