Very delicious food and the grocery side has everything we need,We frequently visit here whenever we have our work here in Minneapolis, my favorite is chicken biryani or lamb biryani. Apart from that we usually order lassi, samosa chat, chicken and lamb cuisine, mango lassi is very delicious and they have many more dishes to taste. On the grocery side, they make fresh tortillas and have everything from drinks to meats. The price is also reasonable. Will definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

EXPIRY PRODUCTS BEWARE : I bought a red label tea from the grocery store and came home and made tea, Few minutes later I had severe stomach ache. It took me some time to figure out they sold an expired product, the product is manufactured in 06/06/20 and expired on 06/06/21. I bought this on 06/27/21. This is a year old product on the shelf and they dont care about the product expiry. BEWARE of the items on the store shelf. This store should be reported for Food Safety regulations.

Great collection of both North and South Indian groceries. Recently they expanded it and added a big namkeen (snacks) section and extended their fresh Chapati (Roti, Indian Bread) section. If you are not from India: You should try their fresh chapatis (Indian staple Bread) to taste what Indians eat on daily basis as naan is not our staple food.

They have a lots of items (vegetables, groceries, Bangladeshi fishes) that you can find. But dont go for a bulk order. If you are planning for a bulk order then call ahead. Went there to purchase Bangladeshi Polau rice, could not find it. Most of their item is like what Indian people likes not the Bangladesh, Nepal or others. Mentioning it so that your expectation gets an idea what you can have. Their food section is also super good if you want to have a quick snack on the way.

Ordered a combo meal. The server was particularly stingy with the mutton. To the extent that she took out meat pieces once from the serving spoon and once from the platter. Ultimately, the pieces that were served were only bones. This has happened to me before. Pattern specifically with native servers and if purchasing cooked goat meat. Please charge more if needed, but dont serve skimpy.

Grocery store is well laid out and organized but I have deducted three stars for poor quality service on multiple occasions. At many points there is an empty register and a long line at the store but no one there to use the third register and help customers get through quicker. Furthermore, in the restaurant the food can both be of varying quality depending on the day you go in and of varying timeliness. I had placed an order for food nearly 2 days in advance and called on the day of pickup to confirm when it would be ready and it still was not ready by the time they had confirmed. After arriving at the time and asking about the order, I was told 10-15 minutes and told that even this was expedited as it could have taken 30 more minutes. Additionally, I have ordered food on the spot many times and have had to wait very long times to get a simple order like 1 dosa. Overall I think the amenities are great but service and consistency need to improve a lot.

One of the largest grocery stores in Minneapolis that pretty much keeps up to par with cities having larger South Asian population. Fairly clean place and they carry pretty much anything from grocery to household stuff that you coukd be looking for.My biggest gripe about the place is their take out area which is super chaotic especially on weekends. Staff seems confused as theyre probably overworked and youll have to wait quiet a bit for even a simple take out order.

They maintain good variety, but I have observed multiple times. The items on Sales with less prices labeled. The same price not given while billing. This is very common you dont check this at the counter. I have shopped here since they first opened the tiny store which is now 4 times the original size. I have watched their expansion and they have come a long way. They seem to be always short of labor and a large number of pallets at the back of the store waiting to go on to the shelves. Their frozen food section is big and has a good range. Their spice aisle is good. They do stock a small selection of Organic lentils and spices. They could do more on that front. Where the store needs to improve is to do shelf loading in the night and open up the aisles from boxes etc., lying on the ground in the aisles. I have compared their prices closely with Pooja and noticed that Pooja is around 5-7% overall lower priced, but not necessarily for frozen foods. Their take out food section definitely needs better management. The ordering system is slow and the collecting the ordered food takes even more time. The spice level of ready to order food has gone sky high. I have had some really bad experience for ordered food such as Masala dosa which was super salty as if some one poured a bag of salt. Not sure if they have amateurs in the kitchen. More lighting in the café would be welcome. Overall, I enjoy shopping at this grocery and their staff is friendly. The car park is really full on the weekends and I tend to avoid shopping during the weekends.

This has been a to-go Indian grocery shop for a lot of Indians from the Hopkins area after the closure of Namaste Plaza. This is a pretty big store with a lot of options from veggies, freshly made rotis, restaurant, meat shop and they also sell small snacks like samosas, puffs and even quick eats like subjis and biryanis. The rotis that they make out of the huge roti maker are fresh and hot. Make sure you buy a pack of it if you are here for the first time. The veggies are fresh for most of the time and they do a good job of replenishing it promptly. They have a large variety of readymade mixes and pickles too.One thing I haven’t liked much and the reason to rate this place one star less is the stench that comes out of the meat section as they cut through it. No disregards to people who eat meat but the smell is highly intolerable to people like me who don’t eat it. I have informed this politely to the front desk folks couple of times, but they don’t care to give a damn about setting it right.Nevertheless, this store is a typical Indian Walmart shop where you can find anything under the sun and the sections are neatly categorized to provide a seamless shopping experience.
