Decent Hannaford store for its location in central New Hampshire.seems well stocked and cleanemployees and management is there to make sure distancing is there during this unusual timehas a self checkout section I universally believe is not a good way to keep labor costs down. think stores with self checkout should offer discounts to those who use them for regular shopping amounts

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They were well stocked and very clean. My only complaint was the higher priced roast beef isnt rare enough. That I blame on myself for getting presliced instead of having them slice it.

Very helpful with me recovering from being in hospital. Had problems signing up but once the technical staff help it was so easy shopping online. I love it going to keep doing it. The people that bring groceries to car are so pleasant.

When Market Basket opened, we all expected Hannaford to step up their game. The staff are ruder than ever and the prices are out of control. In a lot of cases, MB prices are about the same as Hannaford, but if you shop for meats and produce in your shopping trip, then youll pay a lot less at MB! Hannaford welcomes the anti-maskers with open arms too. MB has better sale prices and more items on sale too. I cannot believe how rude the employees have become at this store. If your location wants to survive, you should give people a reason to shop there. Im through with this sinking ship!

They have the best meats around

Clean, well-organized store with decent produce and meats. Staff are pleasant and well-trained, and the store is generally well stocked with a decent variety of products. It is a medium sized store, so it doesnt have the staggering variety of newer stores, but it is generally adequate except for more esoteric needs.All this is by contrast to the new, much larger Market Basket store a few hundred yards down the road, which is big and glitzy but horribly disorganized, with a new staff that are pleasant but not well informed. The worst part about the Market Basket is the unshakable perception that the jumbled design is quite deliberate to force you to zigzag through the store. I am sticking with the Hannaford for my main shopping needs, it is a much more organized and pleasant experience.

I found every thing I was looking for and then some. All kinds of Food items, a bakery, deli, and even a pharmacy located inside.

Hannaford To Go was everything it promised to be. Placed my order online, adding a few notes to some items (ie only substitute other fruit on the bottom yogurt or no substitutions if out of stock on a particular cereal). Found the parking spot at store, followed directions on sign; the person on the phone went over the few substitutions which were all good. Jared came out and loaded the back of my car-- noticing my cooler, he asked if I wanted my cold things in it and put the appropriate bags in it. Bonuses: he wore a mask, I didnt have to touch anything, he was helpful and friendly, everything was bagged in handled paper bags so no plastic and fewer overall bags. This service is so appreciated, and they did a fantastic job!

We have been doing Hannaford To Go curbside orders for the past month and a half. I cannot say enough good things about the service we have received. I only wish I could remember the names of the employees I spoke with by phone so they could get the recognition they deserve. But truly everyone I’ve spoken with has been highly professional and incredibly helpful. I had a few questions the first time I ordered and spoke with two different people. They helped me manually update my order and went out of their way to help. When I thanked one of the gentlemen I spoke with for everything they are doing to help people safely get groceries in the midst of the pandemic, he said it is his pleasure and that he loves helping people in his community. I remember it was the day before Easter, and he was so excited to have a day off to be with his family. So well-deserved!! The second time we went, they accidentally charged us for an item we didn’t receive. Because it wasn’t going to be convenient to go back to the store to pick it up, they offered to mail us a gift card. Definitely above and beyond since I was simply hoping to get credited back for the item. And the employee I spoke with was so kind and apologetic. She spoke with a manager about how to handle the situation, and she’s the one who recommended a gift card. So nice! Today when my husband went to pick up our order, they gave him $10 off since they had to substitute a lot of items and others were unavailable. Again, above and beyond. Our shopper truly did such an amazing job following the substitution instructions I’d provided. Everything was right on! So thank you, thank you, thank you to the Plymouth Hannaford To Go team for providing such amazing and friendly service. You guys are awesome, and our family truly appreciates all you do!! :)

Just like the other Hannaford markets, the usual but folks here tend to be nicer than elsewhere.

Although they didnt have everything I needed, I did have a pleasant shopping experience. The staff is always friendly.

Employees at check-out NOT wearing masks, just face shields. Covid virus leaves & enters thru nose & mouth, only protection is cloth mask. Its company policy to use either, according their website. Both CDC & FDA recommend cloth masks over nose & mouth.Update Jan 2021: As of a couple months ago, all associates are using face masks, not face shields. Thanks to Hannaford & their employees for helping protect us and themselves!!

The store is clean and beautiful. Very diverse variety of fresh vegetables and meats. I find it lacking in numbers regarding items on the shelves. And prices tend to run higher than other grocery chains.

My husband and I come to Hannaford at least twice a week my husband loves there fresh Italian bread he will go and ask to get it from behind the counter instead of what’s out because of the dating so I go there today stand there for 5 minutes or longer the lady putting up muffins or whatever she was doing walked right past me never asked me if she could help me so I see a guy and ask can I please have a fresh loaf of Italian bread sliced and than she speaks up and says the bread out on the shelves are already dated never in my life I can’t wait to Market Basket Opens I love your deli meat but that’s it

Full disclosure I am not a Hannaford shopper. I dont have one near my home. I stopped in quick for a few items for a Birthday party I was going to. I enjoyed this trip. I stopped by the deli for some cheeses and I was a little particular with what I needed. The two ladies behind the counter were just wonderful!!! They gave my two children a slice of cheese and they were so funny and informative, they helped me pick a cheese for a sandwich tray. Overall the store was bright and clean. Very well stocked. They have alot of great things, better than walmart anyway. Large deli large seafood service counter. Huge meat section with a butcher staff right there. The cashier was adorable. Spoke to my children and was very sweet. Great place to shop. Wish I had one closer to my home. Thank You Hannaford

Good deli prices a bit high

Apparently they dont believe people are intelligent enough to stay 6 feet apart as you are required to line up and be directed to a cashier when the coast is clear . Not impressed

Hannaford made no apologies for the fact that this was their highest priced store in the area. It seems prices came down slightly when another store with groceries opened up the street. Today yet another store with a stellar reputation is set to open across the street and Hannaford has jumped to add services and renovate the store. How this plays out will be interesting.

I wish they had clover sprouts, onion sprouts would be nice too. They have a good sprout mixture but the ingredient list doesnt say exactly what is in the mixture, only that it may have this or that, and its almost $5.00! Entirely too much.

It was a nice store… nothing special about it spirit.. I purchased some grapes… which just so everyone knows have to be separated at the cash register so although my green grapes and purple grapes for the same price the poor cashier had to separate them all! She did so with a good sense of humor

I generally like Hannaford, but this one isn’t especially good about re-stocking, and product choices change rapidly. They generally do not have enough cashiers on for their traffic. Although I worry about the development of our region, I look forward to the new Market Basket opening to create some competition.

The store is clean, well supplied and has the best fish department. We bought swordfish that was tasty and tender. The employees are attentive and friendly.

The bakery dept are very helpful as i needed help and they were helpful.

Much more of a selection than Bristol, but prices are rediculous at all Hannafords. Much rather go to Market Basket any day! Where we have one right by us in Bristol, it is convenient though for quick grabs, but just so pricey!

It had a lot to offer, but some of the stuff wasnt where youd think it would be.

Decently sized store with a good selection. Lines are never really too long, during peak hours you will get a line but they always seem to be prepared for it with cashiers and baggers. 4 stars just because hannafords can be pretty pricey throughout and their rewards system sucks.

Their prices have gone up alot!! Unless you need something specific I would try walmart. A 24 pack of coke will cost you almost 10 dollars where at other stores its still 780. Big difference !! Maybe when Market Basket opens there prices will come down.
