I was on a long ride up this way and had a wheel bearing fail on me. It was late on a Saturday, and they were the only shop around that welcomed me to come by to take a look - - everyone else said maybe we can fit you in. As much as I understand the shops are busy, 5 minutes to take a look to suggest if its rideable shouldnt be a big deal. That said, this place is a little wild. Lots of vehicles and equipment around, making it difficult to even find the front door let alone get your bike into the garage. While it seemed verging on hording, I got the impression it was more about fixing things rather than throwing them out needlessly, and I appreciate that. Once you figure out how to get inside its a bit of a treasure trove.Cal took the time to take a look at my bike, identified the issue quickly, and provided 3 different options at different price points for fixing the problem. He sourced parts and fixed it within a reasonable amount of time. Also no big deal when I had a shipper pick up my bike (I live too far away for the round trip).Id go back here if they were closer to me, even if its just to check out the older bikes theyre working on and hear some crazy stories. No attitudes or inflated pricing that I noticed. Good shop.
VERY EXPENSIVE! I was charged $80 to get my tire mounted and balanced. I usually pay 20 bucks for the same job but my regular guy was booked up. For what its worth, the guy was pleasant.
Leon is very knowledgable and diagnosed a starting problem with my Yamaha 1986 scooter. He was able to recommend an easy and less expensive solution for fixing my problem !!!Leon was very cooperative!!! R. Howell
Place needs to be not so cluttered inside and out.
Bought a nearly brand new scooter from these guys and we are very happy with our purchase, now that its home. We almost didnt buy because of the way this place is run; no payment plan, no deposits accepted, no test drives (though they did let us drive it around the lot to make sure it ran), no warranty of any form... the list goes on. Overall I am not happy with these points, I think they make the place pretty sketchy, and they should work on improving these. However, most of the employees there were very amenable, and we drove away with a seemingly mint condition scooter for far less than what we would have expected to pay elsewhere. I dont want to give these guys a bad review because it really does seem like they do good work, they just ask you to sink a decent chunk of change into something with no guarantee, which would make any reasonable buyer very uncomfortable. All this being said, they know their stuff, and any modifications done to the bike will be through them.
Great service. Leon has lots of harley parts in stock as well as great tires.
These guys are sketchy. One of my friends parents took his snowmobile here and they charged him for work they never did. Over priced and unfriendly. They dont trouble shoot problems they just parts until they fix it. Guy couldnt give any estimate or time frame. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else
Just purchased a used Honda VTX1300 from a private party and went to Kirks Cycles for an inspection, they said it sounded a little loud but needed to check the decibels with an instrument, I wanted to be legal so was prepared for the worst, it passed so I questioned the Cycle specialist Leon and could tell he was very experienced, Leon will be the Service Tech for my bike, very happy with Kirks Cycles
Maybe you should have the internet mount your internet bought tire next time. Good day to you :-)Its amazing how many excellent jobs you do and no one writes a review, but one internet shopper is disgruntled and everyone knows.
Not impressed with this place since the last guy left this establishment. Not going back!
I ordered a speedo cable for my husbands motorcycle and the guy ordered the wrong part. Then wouldnt exchange it for the right one. He claimed that I didnt know what kind of bike it was. I guess girls arent supposed to know bikes. Avoid this place!
Place is a dump
Awesome service
