Strange experience today. I went to TJ Furniture looking for a bookcase and some chairs. I found a couple of items I wanted to buy, and asked about delivery options. The first salesman said they focus on the furniture, not delivery, and that the one service they do recommend is really busy and probably would not accept the job. A second salesman then said that he would text another delivery service, in case they would be willing to include my purchases on a scheduled delivery run. He said he would let me know if he heard back. He also suggested renting a truck from Menards to do it myself. Sooo..it quickly became clear they werent interested in facilitating a sale. No one asked for my name, etc. As I was walking out, the first salesman asked for my thoughts. I said I would have to figure out delivery options. He smiled and shrugged his shoulders, and said, Yeah, sorry. I walked into the place, fully intending to spend $400-$500.

Jim HOOKED me up. Even though I only bought two chairs I can already feel my back sinking into ergonomic bliss. When the pandemic hit, I was working from home and had chairs from Office Depot that caused some form of Sciatica (Im not a doctor so I cant be sure). At one point I couldnt even sleep because I was in so much pain. Jim was the only one in the area who answered my call (I called many other stores before this), treated me like I was the only customer there and this was probably the best customer experience Ive had in my lifetime— for only two chairs. Bring your business to TJ Office Furniture people. My back agrees.

I give this place 3 stars because of the pricing for the cabinets I received. The price for them was great, but they were lacking as they had numerous scratches on the insides that arent easily paintable. The only reason I give it such a mid tier rating was because this bigger-sized worker there was rude and cold to me, something that I had figured was due to me being a minority. At the end of it all he did get me replacement legs for my cabinets that were missing some. When transporting the new cabinets to my car, he was NOT careful at all. He scratched the plastic on the trunk of the car and there is a big scratch there to this day. Throughout the whole experience he was cold and rude. Barely talking and saying one word or two. When he finished helping me load the cabinets he walked off without a word. The other slimmer gentleman was FAR nicer and more helpful.

Great prices and quality - I was able to get a full office setup for a third of the cost I would have paid had I went to a big-box store. Perfect place for the home-based, small office or start up to get setup! Highly recommend checking these guys out! The web-site and the warehouse are constantly getting new items in - so many options to choose from . . . from whiteboards, file cabinets, chairs, desks, and more!

Stopped in to purchase a desk. Beyond the great products and low prices of their big selection, the staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. Great group of people who own and operate TJ Office Furniture. Im happy to continue giving them my business and refer friends to them. If youre looking to get some office furniture for home, or for your office space, you have to check these guys out!

Super great experience with this business. No Surprise that this place has great reviews. I found a desk on line and it turned out to be this place. I messed up my order (all my mistake) so I had to call the store. The guy was so great, and nice. He changed the order, and ordered the item I wanted. He emailed the minute it came in and sent me a schedule for pick up. Businesses like this are practically gone these days. Oh btw... I did not have to pay extra for this nice treatment as the prices was the lowest I found!

Great service and awesome price on a Steelcase Leap V1. It was a little beat up, but functionally perfect and the price was still fair for it.They have a mix of new and used items and helped me make sure what I bought was the right fit for my needs.

I recently purchased a U-shaped desk from Joe at TJ Office Furniture. The entire experience was excellent! I spent approx 5-6 hours in total searching for a good vendor or a second-hand desk that would suit our needs. Joe spoke with me and was able to determine that the best route was to order one. I had a specific office size I was working with and there just simply werent any used desks available from 6-7 different second-hand stores locally that would work. The retail price we worked up was about $400+ less than the nearest comparable online new desk price I was able to find before heading to TJ Office Furniture. Deadline was met. Service was excellent. I cant recommend Joe and TJ Office Furniture highly enough. Give them a try!

Great product and people. I purchased a couple of used chairs that look brand new and are super comfortable. A big upgrade to my covid remote office. Joe was great to work with answering my questions and super helpful. Product was as described, maybe even better.

I visit this place whenever I need a piece of furniture because...you never know what great thing you will find! I have purchased a sit stand desk (it is amazing), an office chair, a regular chair, and several office accessories. The quality is amazing. Since they also have tables,bookcases, etc, I will be encouraging my college students to check this place out for a kitchen/dining table, etc, too. Solid construction and much outsidecheaper prices than anywhere else. Think outside the box! Amazing office furniture, but lots of other uses, too. Also...the owner/manager is wonderful! Highly recommend!

Eight months of working from home perched on a subpar chair has made me long for my employer-owned Herman Miller Aeron chair that is locked away in deserted cube city. I went into TJ Office Furniture in the hopes of finding a nice, used desk chair that would get me through the pandemic. But to my surprise, as I shared with Jim my real desire to have a Herman Miller chair, he brought out a refurbished Aeron that hadnt made it to the floor yet. I was over the moon as I sat in the chair and realized it was exactly what I wanted! Ive researched Herman Miller chairs, so I know what they cost new. TJ Office Furniture gave me a fantastic deal on the refurbished chair (which is actually in better shape than my chair at work) and I drove home with a Herman Miller chair I never thought I could afford. Jim and the rest of the staff were friendly, helpful, and lovely to work with. The showroom was clean and prices were clearly marked. Ill be recommending this store to my colleagues who are also bemoaning their substandard home seating. Thanks for an excellent transaction!

I am usually not a big fan of used furniture - I came to this store looking for Herman Miller chairs and over the last 2 years bought a lot of stuff including carpet tiles - if I see my home office most of the stuff is from this store.Any commercial furniture is way better than fancy looking non commercial furniture. My hon ignition chair from TJ is a fraction of a fancy looking chair from Staples - but outlasted the one from Staples and far more comfortable !Usually we go there to buy something and end up buying a lot more than what we planned !The prices are reasonable, owner is a great guy to work with very honest.

Lots of great used office furniture. Prices are very good. Much better prices than youll find at any surplus furniture store, even in the clearance sections.
