Went there every 2-3 weeks for past 2 year to buy bubble wrap. I buy the 12 roll that sold for $27.50 and they use to charge me $24.99 because i was buying it regularly. About a month ago they started charging me regular price and i was totally ok with that. today i go in and the price is $39.50 for the exact same roll. the new owners or new manager told me prices went up.i understand prices go up but it seems now they are just out to rob you and get what they can. will never go there again.

What a scam! They do not find the best shipping price. I had a box to send and she over measured and said the cheapest was USPS at a cost of $33 . I have sent in this exact same box before with the same item at UPS for way cheaper. I left there and took it to UPS. Cost me $19. I dont think this is the first time they have done this to me with other items. I wont be back. Id rather drive to different locations to find the best prices.

Please, please, please do not use this store! I had one of the worst customer service interactions ever with them a few years ago, but today, I figured it had been a while and things may have changed so I was going to try again. I often drop off pre-paid packages since their store is so convenient to my house, but it had been 3 years since I had tried to buy postage from them. Today, I dropped off a 25 pound pre-paid package and then I tried to mail a very small box that was 1 pound, 1.6 ounces and very small. The woman told me that since my package was over 1 pound, I could not use USPS first class mail and it would cost $27+ to ship it Fed Ex. I promptly took it to the post office and mailed it first class with no hassle for $11.75. Plus, we spent less to ship the huge pre-paid box Fed Ex Ground that was 25 pounds than what she quoted for the 1 pound box. The huge mark-up, the lack of product knowledge, and the poor customer service is amazing to me. There is a good reason why my family refers to this business as The Evil Store.

This place is a joke to give some context I wanted to ship an item 22”l x 4h x 4w within the United States and these imbeciles wanted to charge me almost $300!!! Yes you read that right almost $300 I went to the post office and was only charged $27 with signature required and $200 in insurance completely disgusted with the price gauging here

The person who helped me behind the counter was extremely nice. I had to ship two packages to family in Europe. Got everything done in a quick manner.However, after telling my family the shipping cost. They ordered me to cancel and they will get the stuff the next time they visit. I went back to get a refund and collect my boxes, there is no manager who can handle my request on duty.Its not like they were out to lunch, there just wasnt any manager on duty for the day. I find that to be unprofessional. Every place I ever worked, there was always a manager on duty. I will go back on Monday, its now Friday and they are open on Saturday. Apparently no manager that day either.I went back and everything went smoothly. Everyone was professional and we figured it all out. Every company makes mistakes but how they handle it says a lot. I would do business here again. However, they dont have public wifi.

These folks are amazing. Shipped a very sensitive camera, boxed, packed and protected perfect with no issues. They also designed and built a very large box exactly to my specifications. Highly recommend Port Orange Safer Ship, Job well done!

Just the best around! I do A LOT of shipping and receiving through Safe Ship Port Orange - I am in there at least 3 times a week, and every single time I am treated like family. They are fast, thorough, explain every detail to you when you have to ship something either odd shaped or different, handle international with ease and pack delicate items so perfectly nothing has ever broken- and Ive been sending stuff through them for a year. They take great care with my mail and packages, and remind me if I miss picking something up. They find the cheapest way to ship for you out there, even if that takes a lot of looking stuff up. Ad they are always incredibly polite and upbeat, but more than that - they care about you as a person. Its wonderful. They were seriously the first sincerely caring people I met when I moved here, and have remained the same ever since. You are in good hands there for sure. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Thursday, 12.17.20: Sent two packages (gifts) from here to TX; much less expensive than I was afraid they’d be, and the gifts will arrive on Monday, 12/21/20! Wow! Not busy at the time I was there and gifts will arrive before Christmas!

The worst! Brought package (pictures in a frame) at noon on a Friday and was told I would get an email so I could track the package. Monday morning still no email. Called and they were too busy, call back. Called back and they said they didnt realize the item had to be packed even though it was in no container when I brought it in. So how was it going to be sent??? She just finished packing it!! Sat all weekend in their store and goes out 3 days later!! And for that charged $52.00!! They didnt have time on Friday!! Word of mouth is best advertisement

My first visit to the store was GREAT. The gentleman who assisted me was kind and efficient with providing the information requested.When I returned two days later to ship, unfortunately, he wasnt there. Phyllis was not only rude, she did not provide the email with the tracking number as promised. When I asked for a small piece of tape, her response was if you dont trust us, go somewhere else. The next business day, I called and was told the email containing the tracking information was sent. Finally, she looked and had misspelled my email. Thirty minutes later, I still had not received an email so I called and she hung up on me resulting in my having to visit the store again to obtain the tracking number. Im looking for another location for my shipping needs.

For some reason my review was deleted, but here it is again! I tried to ship out about 6lbs weight picture frame (in pieces), a jersey, a baseball hat and a rolled up poster to Europe. The lady told me the price twelve-fifty. I asked 3 times how much? They wanted to charge (seriously/ridiculously) $1250! Went to USPS and mailed out for $98.70!

These people charge $1 to retrieve the email to print a document. “For the service of receiving your email”....?!? I’ve never heard of this anywhere else. I’ll be driving the 20 min to Fedex where it only costs me 13 cents in the future.

This Port Orange location and its staff are wonderful. Always polite and helpful whether Im shipping or faxing. Easy, convenient and fast.

The two women at this location are outstanding and have always done an amazing job with all of my shipping needs. I have such a pleasant experience every time I go in which is about 3 to 4 times a week.

I dont usually write bad reviews but I was so upset the last time I left this store. I go there for help usually to send out important documents. Im no expert in shipping/mailing things, how it all works and what the best options are so I usually have to ask for help. Every single time except for probably once when Ive gone there the staff has been rude to me and its like pulling teeth getting any actual help. I usually end up being made to feel like my questions are stupid (or that I am...). Im going to have to look for another nearby shipping place or hope that they somehow change their customer service. This isnt only when theyre busy.. Ive gone in there with only one other person in there and theyre still rude.

Nice environment and friendly staff. Never any issues and always help you with reasonable prices. Thank God this places exists because going to individual shipping locations can be a pain in the butt.

My girlfriend and I recently utilized this specific Safe Ship in Port Orange for one of the many services they offer and have used this store countless times over the years. We have always had good fast and friendly service except for one other occasion which unfortunately the one other bad experience we had was the same employee and was within the last few months. This last visit was the rudest and worst service we have ever had from any establishment we have ever been to in the United States. To be fair I have had worse service overseas. My girlfriend works in the medical field and has to interact with a very wide spectrum of personalities when it comes to her patients so personality is always extremely friendly and outgoing no matter what the demeanor of her patient because she wants to make sure their experience is as pleasent as possible. But on this day she was so shocked and taken back by how rude, miserable and nasty this employee of Safe Ship was that she was in shock and almost speechless. We made several attempts to be nice and friendly to this employee and tried to have a good smooth transaction even after all her rude comments and miserable demeanor. If someone hates their job that much then they need to grow up and choose another career field. Even though our economy is booming and unemployment is at a record low I can promise you there are plenty of people out there that will happily take her place. Its unfortunate for a company that offers this many in demand services and whose main priority is customer service to have an emoyee like her. After years of utilizing this specific company and location this will be the last and final time we will ever use this company. If I could put negative stars I would.

I enjoy doing business at this place. The employees are professional, courteous and have a good sense of humor. Id recommend this business because the employees try hard to to satisfy their customers.
